There's no accounting for taste. Merely criticism of it.

Here lies Charlie. You can tell it's him because we put his name on the stone.

Watch this space.
Or don't.
I have no strong feelings either way.

@Smike: Looks good to me. Interesting angle making her an instructor. Let's see how that pays off.
I've a few concerns. Twenty yard radius seems a bit excessive for an area of effect, especially for a student, I'd suggest cutting that by half. And Crimson Bonds seems to me like it should be a bit more restricted than it seems. Personally I'd suggest explicitly saying that it requires Mathew to maintain eye contact.

Aside from those complaints, seems okay.
Looks interesting, I'll be watching this, might join as this builds out.
Well, urban fantasy's definitely my jam, though I'm likely to defy you your hopelessness and play the cynically-acting obstinate optimist; the sort whose enemies would preorder a tombstone for him reading "HE DIED DOING THE RIGHT THING."
Okay, bit late, mea culpa, but dropping my sheets in here.

"Relax, you can trust us," the last member of Marduk's band told William. "Okay, I can't speak for the others, but I wanted to do this before they put the Epic at stake." The blond coughed, flubbing a dismissive sigh. "Before they told us we were up against her." Conrad Hiss coughed again to get the feeling of rawness out of his throat, turning back to his pretense of checking the others' instruments. "Yeah, still clear for now, Will. Egh, I've still got my doubts, but you at least look like you know what you're doing." He straightened up, unpacking a keyboard and glancing over his shoulder at the scion of Ascot.

Truth be told, Conrad was terrified. When he first signed up for this, he had had no idea of the potential stakes or the competition. And as for his last minute teammate, he was still making up his mind about William.
@RabidChoco, I like it, but isn't it a bit short?

I'm not particularly satisfied with it myself. I just can't figure out how to properly expand on it yet, partially because in my head he's defined by other characters I haven't yet totally defined either.
Though that's part of his in-character issues as well, I'd imagine.

Work in progress, figuring out as I go along. Will change as I figure it out.
First one.

Oh, I guess I should post it publicly that I'm gonna bow out of this one.
Just a matter of conflicting priorities, as I see it.
