Posted! By the way, i recommend we don't skip to the wedding. We have some downtime let's do some serious character dev. and courting.
"Walk with me." There was no hint of a question in the statement, only a command that was expected to be followed. So Kallain did, following his father up to his quarters.

Sallas opened the door to his chambers and once his son had entered shut the door behind them. The king of Zersal sat on his bed and, for the first time in Kallain's life, he looked quite old. "Son, I've been concerned for our kingdom recently. You wouldn't think it traveling the countryside, but when you look at a map we are truly quite small." Sallus sighed at this before continuing, "And our only steadfast ally is the Green Moot. An even smaller and unimportant nation. And now we are faced with troubles that i must admit are beyond my understanding. The Fade, a normally peaceful sect, invading my own home! and a blight that the druids don't see fit to inform me of!" Sallas the Bear nearly shouted the last phrase as his temper flared.

He simmered down as he continued, "It's no matter. I'll send agents to investigate these matters properly!" Kallain interrupted, "Say the word father, and i'll have the Wind dragons mobilized by tomorrow!" Sallas looked at his son for a moment and his famous smile had now returned. "That's my boy! Ready to face the problems of the kingdom face on! Like a true man! Unfortunately, i need you here for less, taleworthy work." Sallas then stood up and walked towards the window overlooking the castle grounds. "Kal i believe that Zersal is on the cusp of a golden age of prosperity! Despite this blight our lands are still fruitful, our silver mines plentiful, and our citizens are filled with national pride. All we lack are powerful allies and trade partners." Sallas threw open the balcony doors and walked out to overlook the land.

"We are so close to greatness boy! But a few malefactors can tear the entire kingdom down! You remember Lords Grellius and Krell?" It was hard not to. Kallain didn't know the whole story, but they were the two strongest high lords in the land, meaning they governed one of the four sections of the land. They are neighbors and always seemed locked in a never ending argument of some sort. "What's the issue now?" Kal asked annoyed. At his birthday the two were shouting up a storm and he had heard something about great swords at dawn. "Same old bad blood. As you should know, if you pay any attention to Serell's lessons, Grellius and Krell are not exactly from Zersal. Grellius is the son of a northern warrior, and a noble lady. He was raised in the on the hard ice of the north, until inheriting his mothers land. Krell's lands were conquered by your grandfather, liberated is more like it! The people were starving and the king suffered from hysterical disillusions.

The two hate one another because the north men once pillaged Krells lands. Krell mocks his birth and Grellius hates the man because he believes the man has been disloyal to me and seeks rebellion! In kal's mind he agreed with Grellius, he met the men and 'uncle Grell' would die for his father while Krell would probably piss on his corpse. Sallas continued, "I would force the two to sit in parley but both serve a vital function. Grell is the high marshal and he has used my armies to fight off orc and northern invasions for years. Krell is the my chief financial adviser and his lands contain all of the major ports." Sallas looked at Kal as he continued.

"Son i can't afford to play their petty politics! I need to focus on more pressing matters. Lord Telsin is inviting all the high lords and of course us to his nephews wedding in two months. Krell and Grellius will be there, i need you and your sister to babysit" Kallain nodded his head and moved to leave the room, when his father shouted now serious once again. ""Kallain wait!" What is it?Fade? House War? News on the blight? "Bring a date to the wedding. Good gods boy! All the high lords are wondering when you'll step out of the closet." Sallas smiled like a young boy as Kallain groaned.
I'll go, then let's just use a new random order.
Satisfactory?
@ArenaSnow You good? Or do you want the next person to take over.
Okay this good?
Sorry I just thought that through my character some moral questioning could spring up about the war. I don't really want to scrap this character so proposition. I could play as an antagonist, I know it sounds hard but I've seen it done well before.
I can edit backstory to make Cid a mercenary instead of a rebel, remove his some of his dislike for the government. I'd keep the part about the evacuation and say that the Sabre officials were impressed by dedicating himself for civilian lives.
All up to you boss.
@Light
Edited. Am I good now?

Corporal (Unofficial)

Cid Parker

Appearance
Cid stands at 5' 9' with an average build. His eyes are small and sharp with hazel irises. He has straight long brown hair which he typically leaves alone. When in non combative garb he prefers loose fitting, non extravagant clothing. He wears a near constant five-o'clock shadow.

24

Male

Specializations:
-Fire arms Expert
-Sharpshooter
-Long Range Recon

Augmentations
-Ocular enhancements increasing depth perception, low light vision, hand eye coordination
and reaction time. Works with several neurological implants to rapidly gauge trajectory and ricochet. Favorite technique of Cid is to ricochet rounds into weak points of a combatants armor.
-Enhancement to the lungs and heart, allow Cid to fully contract these organs and remain motionless for a large amount of time without the need for a breath. Cid enters this trance like state to eliminate all shaking for the purpose of long range shots.
-Similar enhancements to muscular and skeletal systems, allowing these groups to remain motionless with little stress for extended periods of time

Sabre Deployment Suit
Code Named "Spider Suit:
-Incredibly lightweight
-Comes equipped with an advanced magnetic and electrical system allowing the wearer to cling and hang onto objects with ease. Can even allow the user to attach to non metallic objects like wood or rock
-Reduced weight offers little protection
-Shielding systems only available when "Spider" functions are not in use
-Specialized harnesses coupled with magnetic systems in the shoulders, hips, calf, and back allow rapid deployment and equipment of various firearms (makes first person shooter weapon switch reasonable)
-Various compartments and pouches for storage of ammo and grenades
Currently equipped firearms:
Shoulder- 2 compacts SMG's
Hips- 2 handguns, one revolver, one semi-auto
Back- 1 long range sniper rifle
Calf- Left side, 1 compacted shotgun. Right side, 1 single shot grenade launcher

Side Notes: All firearms use a specially crafted caliber round designed for ricochet, conventional rounds are still carried. Cid's augments coupled with injury, have left him physically very fragile. If it wasn't for the spider suit, the recoil from most of his heavier weapons would cause lasting damage to his bones and major muscle groups.

Personality
Cid tries to find the joy and humor in life even when it is hard to do so. He grew up very poor and envious, and this upbringing instilled in him a desire for wealth and recognition. Cid feels humor is his best defense against the injustice of life and war. He feels that if he can smile and laugh, even in a bad situation, then he has won and refused to let life take the most important thing away from him. Parker won't admit it to himself, but he is a at heart a selfish person, filled with greed and the desire to be noticed, he knows and will do what's right, but not always for the right reasons.

History
Cid Parker was born and raised on the asteroid colony of [REDACTED]. Upon reaching 19 he left home to join a mercenary gang. Inspired by his desire for wealth and fame, he made a name for himself as an accurate gun for hire. In the civil war he worked jobs for both both factions, but he always he never betrayed a contract once accepted. Except once. His group found themselves working a mission for the rebel forces. A mining colony, similar to the one Cid was raised on, had been captured by the navy. Instead of wasting manpower to reclaim a low yield facility, the rebels opted to simply destroy the entire asteroid from orbit. What wasn't known was that civilians, including children, inhabited the asteroid. His group were hired to board and eliminate the crew of the battle cruisers, so that the rebel ships could get in close. It wasn't until the ship was overwhelmed that he learned of the civilians, as he and his comrades were ordered to open fire on a fleeing evacuation vessel. Cid pleaded with the other mercenaries to defy the order. When they refused he killed them and set the ship on a crash course with the closest captured ship, while he escaped. the Sabre program was impressed with his skill and valor, and in exchange for a pardon, Cid was instigated into the Sabre program. He was brought on not only for his skills, but for an insight into the enemies tactics.

OOC: Did i Make the cut?

For centuries the Grave Keepers have defended the crypts from grave robbers, necromancer's, and things far worse. But not only do they defend the dead from the living, but also the living from the dead. It is a terrifying, dangerous, and thankless job. But someone has to do it.

For nearly 90 years the Grave Keeper of the city of Wilted Rose has dutifully looked after his charge, stubbornly refusing to succumb to his mortality until he is certain his position is properly filled.

Honestly this idea came to me this night but the more I think on it the more I like it! I was thinking a 1X1 with me playing the current Grave Keeper and the other person the prospective replacement. If people are interested I will accept no more than 3. I'm a very flexible person and am willing to hear your ideas.

However as a interest check I just want to see if anyone is interested and maybe some rough character ideas. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
