"Apples are great for eating and baking," Weston added to the conversation, looking at the pears with greedy eyes. Suddenly, he was beginning to wish that he had listened to the words of his older sister.

Get a job, Weston. Get some money and you can have all the sweets you want...

He'd most likely have to provide for a human someday. But someday -- it wasn't today, "Also, they're very sweet. I'd recommend those as a fresh fruit...connoisseur." Now then, how to sneak away a bundle of fruit without either of these girls -- or anyone else for that matter -- noticing?

*high five*

This is one of the most quiet OOC sections I've seen in a while...so, how are you kids, uh, enjoying the RP so far?
Weston watched as the girl walked past him and straight to... a fruit stand. His stomach began to growl again, "Okay, okay, quiet down," he mumbled to himself as he slowly approached the stand, staring at all the delicious, fresh fruit. Apples, bananas, grapes, pears. He caught a glimpse at the stall owner -- some human girl, he wasn't sure if he had tried swindling her yet or not.

He stood behind the blue haired girl, "Looks good, doesn't it?" He gave a bit of a smile, waving his hand over to the store owner, "'scuse me, Miss! How much for those pears?"

I'm right up there with ya. Long Posts Club, eh?
Taylor was disappointed by the lack of coffee found in the town. Had these people never heard of it? Good news was that they did, the bad news was that they didn't have it in many places and she wasted forty-five minutes searching for some coffee. Now, she leaned against a lamp post, finishing the last drops while watching the busy day pass onward. It was still early morning, but she had a headache about the size of the mysterious gemstone she had found earlier.

She twirled it around in her hand. It had a faint, soft glow and it was warm. "So this...is a heart?" She mumbled to herself, having asked the Innkeeper about it. As story goes, it was HER heart. She was supposed to give it to the neko she fell in love with. How odd of a concept. Love. "Yeah, right," she gave a bit of a small, sarcastic laugh to herself, before letting out a sigh and dropping her empty coffee cup into a nearby trash can.

She looked down to her waist, seeing the pistols in their cases. She sighed relief, wondering when her OCD got so bad. "Now...where to look for jobs for a bounty hunter?

Oh. Right. The police station. She sighed yet again, time to waste another twenty-five minutes trying to find that. This day was not starting out too well.

--

Weston finished the rice ball and threw the seaweed wrapper into the trash can. He licked his lips and stood off to the side of the crowd and watched the stalls from afar. Where next? Maybe somewhere with some cake or pears this time. .

The blond neko began to turn and walk, almost colliding into a girl with blue hair, stepping back just in time, "Oops, sorry, Miss."
"Sure thing, Miss," he gave her a smile as she turned to serve customers from behind, handing out jewelry and other wares. The neko flicked his tail again, feeling it twirl behind him. "Take about busy, guess she won't notice if I take one," Weston remarked, grabbing a rice ball and taking a bite out of it. Rice balls always had the most blandest of tastes and quite frankly, he would do anything for some fresh, sweet fruit right about now.

Weston loved sweet fruit, especially strawberries and pears.

He backed up from a crowd of new customers. This girl sure was busy. She certainly wouldn't miss the money, that much was for sure. He began to casually walk away, sliding into the crowd, with validated hope that the girl wouldn't have noticed her stolen wares.
A tail flicked from across the street from a group of stalls. There were stalls set up all over Alber, but there were areas where it got denser in the number of stalls. This was one of those areas. Keeping in mind that it would be crowded and busy later, it would be a great location to grab something at. After all, he could just disappear into the crowd afterwards.

Weston, a mischievous blond neko, had a smile painted across his face as he begun to watch the owners place down their merchandise to begin the day. That's when he heard his stomach growl.

He was hungry and he needed food. Unfortunate for the boy, he lacked the required money. Not a problem.

Weston walked across the street and casually began to stroll between the stalls, wondering where to snatch from today. He would have to grab and go, considering people were slowly beginning to realize it was him who was taking food and various wares. It only took them about twelve years or so. He stopped in front of a market stall owned by a human girl. Had he met this one yet? For some reason, he doubted that he did.

"Hey there," he said casually, taking in notice that the girl was conversing with some of the other browsing customers. His stomach growled again. Even if he couldn't snatch something to eat, he COULD snatch something to steal. He smiled, "What do you have for sale today, Miss?"

Taylor tossed and turned throughout the night. Curse the affliction of nightmares, it wasn't even something she could kill with alcohol. Not that she liked any, too bitter for her. Man, she needed a hobby to let off some steam. Taylor was up by sunrise, taking a quick smoke to calm her nerves before leaving the Inn to wander the town. Alber. Yet another detour in her journey across the land. It was quaint, relaxing and filled with...cat-like people.

Now the girl had seen it all. She looked around, watching them walk by, their ears flicking and their tails twirling, "they're kind of cute," she mumbled quietly to herself while walking around and browsing the streets. Despite her slightly shot nerves, the insomniac would have to get right down to business. Find a job, make some money. Otherwise, she'd have to hustle pool for some cash...and how cruel would it be to steal from such adorable cat people?

She shook her head, letting out a sigh. Maybe find something to eat, head to the library and begin job hunting. Maybe find a map to the next town. Yeah, that sounded like a solid plan.
