Showing interest! All crossovers I've been in so far have died almost instantly.
Chase nodded, accepting the box from Xavier and giving him a bit of a smile. In all honesty, Xavier kind of weirded her out. Not really in a bad way, per say, but like Father Gabriel, he didn't talk too much about himself. And if he did, it was usually kind of odd. He also gave this dark vibe, but that was generally pretty normal for Hunters. They all had their fair share of trauma. Chase still remembered her first encounter with a ghost . . . nearly sent her screaming.

She followed him into the kitchen as he described a horror story experience. "Well, whatever it was, I hope it still isn't here," she dropped the food on the table and proceeded to dust her hands off. The box was probably sitting there for a little while at least. "Maybe you should tell Kyra, she'd be likely to identify it. Then we can counter it and all," she gave a bit of a rueful smile, catching Xavier staring out the window.

She listened to him speak. The regret in his voice. . yet, he feigned to be so joyful all the time. Yep. Still human.

She leaned against the counter, "Yeah. I like storms too. Well, except for in the summertime. Usually Dad and I would camping and the storms would. . conflict with our plans. We got stuck in a storm once. Man, that's a story to remember."

Chase wondered how her father was doing.

Ryder watched the window rather absentmindedly. Well, if they were taking care of kids, when exactly were they due to meet them, anyway? He listened to her talk, though he felt as if he wasn't properly absorbing what she was saying. Knowing his foul luck and at times, idiocy, he'd screw this up in no time at all. So much for graduating. "Yeah, I'm alright with kids, I guess."

Well, that was if you counted never watching them. It's not like he had any younger siblings and most of his family was either dead or already decided to cut their ties. "Well, in all honesty, I never watched them. I imagine they aren't AS bad as everyone says they are."

Yeah, I hope.
Ah, I figured as much! No matter, just thought I'd let you know.

And just curious, trying to remember if Chris Mann was a contender or not, the name just sounds familiar to me.
Hey, I'm watching a movie right now, but I'll respond once I finish it. In the meantime though, just thought that I'd point out to Reaper that the language of angels is Evokian. They mention it several times throughout Supernatural. Sorry to say, but I know a few humans fluent with Latin (at least, on paper that is), since it is a language offered in our school. Just letting you know, bro, not trying to nitpick or anything, sorry if it seems like I am.

Also, that clip with Christina and Chris Mann, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that from The Voice?
Nah, I excuse the inability to draw hands, she seems very cute otherwise. I'm interested in seeing how you will develop her throughout the Roleplay, however.
She seemed nice enough. That was a good start . . or at least, he thought it would be, considering that she would be stuck with him for the next six months. He nodded his head in an absent-minded, tamed response, "Yeah, I guess we are." He lifted his head from his desk and looked across the room for a few minutes, silent and looking at the other partner groups. The whole project seemed out-of-place and . . odd. Completely unexpected.

Of course, it would take a monster class to raise his grades so he supposed that it would make sense to be so . . complicated, right? By why trust someone like HIM with little kids, anyhow? Ryder had a ball of questions, but none that seemed good enough to actually ask.

Ryder turned his head to her, briefly wondering what type of person she was. He didn't care enough to ask right now, considering they would spend the next six months together and quite frankly, he was feeling too tired right now. "So. . you any good with kids?" He offered, realizing that the girl was like a deer in headlights.

Yeah, don't worry, I'd feel awkward if I was someone nice like you socializing with someone like me.
Ryder had his head in his folded hands. He was giving Oliver a death glare, despite the fact that he was turned in another direction. There was nothing that Ryder hated more than people who had popularity and a presumed "easy life". He let out a slight groan again, looking down at the desk he was sitting at. At that very moment, he heard a voice speak to him from above. It was a feminine one, soft and easygoing and it was most likely his partner, considering that she was asking if he was Ryder.

He looked up at the girl, leaning back in his chair a little, "Yeah, that'd be me. Let me guess . . you're Nadia?" And this was one girl he had never seen before. He felt bad for her, getting stuck with a trainwreck like himself.

Oh, this would be interesting at the very least.

Ryder remained face-down on his desk for several minutes. He could easily just walk out and say he wasn't interested in the class, surely with only ten students picked out of like . . . well, Ryder was bad with numbers, so, out of a lot, they could easily find him a replacement, right?

Suck it up, champ.

Ryder let out a bit of a groan, putting his head up and surveying the room. He was familiar with a few of these people, namely Oliver, everyone's favorite jock, Karina, the pretty princess cheerleader and then there was that one emo kid who Ryder didn't know the name of. Also the skater kid that he swore was a stoner, but had never bought anything -- well, from Ryder in specific anyway. The rest were just faces and names he didn't know yet.

He stretched in his seat before standing up. He awkwardly glanced across the room and was remotely grateful that nobody had eyes on him. He was used to being public enemy number one and the death glares he would often get would constitute to that. He would always grin and shake his head, why give a single crap about what the others thought of him? Finally motivating himself, he shoved his hands into his jacket and approached the list. He let out a bit of a yawn, looking for his name.

Yep, this certainly wasn't a mistake. His name was there. Right next to the name of a girl -- well, at least he got assigned with a girl -- her name being. . Nadia? What kind of name was that? It sounded foreign. He turned and looked around the room, wondering which of the remaining girls was Nadia.

Nah, he wouldn't waste his time asking. Instead, Ryder plumped back down into his seat and continued his inner monologue with himself once more.
Oooh, I'd like to contribute!

You know what really grind my gears?

The color yellow. And on a much more serious note, a site called Tumblr with it's needlessly silly crusades that make very little sense to me.
