Yeah, no. Kerry already confirmed at RTX that the scene with Ruby holding a "motionless" Weiss was simply a gag that Monty had placed in the trailer. It was a bit of a poke for the White Rose shippers out there, I suppose.

Animation's fine in my opinion. For some reason, the eye rigs really bother me though. . the, uh, newer ones, though. I do have to agree that Sun (and Blake) looked a little choppy in some scenes.

I read that. Admittedly, I'm a much better Lie Ren Roleplayer than Blake. I feel as if I could play Ren much better . . . and in that case, I'd definitely be willing to join. Very, very, extremely interested right now (and craving to Roleplay RWBY, wow, volume 2 trailer)!
