Bullets, maybe. Lasers would be far better. And cooler. Not my call though.

That's a great idea, could this work instead of bullets?
If everyone is down who said they are, we have enough for me to start the game.

Thread should be up either later tonight or tomorrow afternoon.

I'm pleased that people like the idea. If I can get 4-6 concrete players, I'll quickly put up the game and have it running in no time.

Harrishall Plantation; Wilshaven Alabama

CAN YOU SOLVE THE HORROR OF HARRISHALL?

You and your friends, members of the independently owned and operated "Monstrous Mysteries" blog and 'magazine' have hit a huge scoop. Recently, an anonymous tipper messaged one of the members to state that, at the abandoned Harrishall Plantation, a monster had brutally torn apart a pair of hippie campers and their dog. While the police search for murderer, this anonymous tipper guarantees you and your team that this was not the action of a man, rather it was the action of a dark dweller of myth and legend.

Hopping in your old VW, the entire company heads down to Wilshaven Alabama, where the people are poor, the weather is worsening, and the sheriff is unable to help you when you need it most.

Welcome, to the Horror of Harrishall!

Welcome to the Horror of Harrishall. I've been a horror junkie for a long while, however I find that the vast majority of horror games on the various forums to be too open-ended without either the ability to fail or a chance to successfully conclude. Thusly, I have created this game to scratch those various itches.

Becoming one of the (4 to 6) members of Monstrous Mysteries, your trip to Wilshaven and further to Harrishall will be a sight to behold. The soul of this game is the horror of old 1990s and 1980s horror films with the campiness (and set up) of the Scooby Doo franchise.
Below, one can see a character template for those who are interested in this game but do not know exactly how it will be set up a la the characters.

So is that a no go on Cpt. Bang-Bang?

How serious do you want my superhero to be, on a scale of grimdark to Captain Bang-Bang, whom is a shapeshifting man who can use his fingers as actual pistolas?

It's a concept I've been playing with for awhile, but could never act on in my old forum due to it not being active enough.

Long story short is that a group of 4-6 people play as a Scooby-Doo'esque gang of supernatural sleuth solvers. You'll all be in a world of my creation, trying to solve the mystery of the monster sightings in the area.

However the setting is less cartoony and more adult. People can die, and the monster may or may not be real.

Actions will decided in thread via group consensus and are open ended (because I think it'll be more fun).

Lastly, the game is designed to have a distinct ending, which is either:
1) erryone kicks it
2) y'all abandon the quest
3) the mystery is solved (in one way or another)
Approval is for the weak and uninitiated.
