Current I’ve seen this argument before on the Internet. Pretty sure Drache is right because that’s literally the pronunciation found on the Nutella website.

Yeah... you just need to chill out. Look, you haven't been here for that long and you just gotta have patience. Throw your ideas and interest out there, that's all you can do to find good people.

Oh hey, someone who's not shitting all over Andromeda. It seriously fell short to meet its hype and animations were jank as hell, still wasn't a terrible game and I liked it.

Man... everytime Discord goes offline I'm reminded how important it is for my communications with people. All by myself now.

So I'm starting to feel sick, little bit of fever and all. That's the reason why I might not be too responsive.

Bio

Alright new bio because the one I had before was about... two... three years out of date? Basically I haven't touched this since I joined the site. Nothing fancy to say here, I'm a person who also happens to write stuff with other persons. Simple stuff. In a more serious note I mainly stick with 1x1s nowadays, but not for any particular reason other than that's how it worked out. I suppose the other major thing to note is if we do have an RP going, and I haven't responded for a while then feel free to get my attention. I'm also a fan of OOC chatter, its nice to have, but hey it isn't required either.

And... that's it.

The impact knocked the air out of Randold's lungs as he collided with the water, he felt himself sinking to the bottom. The pain at the back of his neck still lingered, the words still resonating in his mind.

I accept your bargain. She will be spared. And you, as forfeit, are mine.

At least Hania was going to be safe, provided, whatever the monster is, holds its end of the deal. Randold knew that he could very well be living on borrowed time, although for now he should focus on getting the others the safety while he was still breathing. Randold kicked up, the feeling of his leg being free from the vines somewhat foreign, and broke through the surface of the water. Everything was still dark just as above, although after a few moments Randold noticed small lights flickering above the water. It was just enough to find his way as he followed Arise and Hania.
Michael quickly swiped through various notifications on his phone until he found the rest of his assignments, the glory of technology had made this so much faster. He was to check in with the ER, mostly paperwork like after action reports and how the patients were treated when on route to the hospital. Micheal had never liked the ER too much, everytime he has went in there he could see truly how many people were not going to survive. While he was more than used to death and really was not too sensitive to it, not telling someone or their family that they're not going to live was still a burden in of itself.

He noticed someone new had come in, another woman but older then Shea maybe around his age give or take a few years. When looking at her Michael felt a tingling on the back of his neck, he still didn't quite have a grasp on detecting other supernatural entities, so he shrugged the feeling off, however on a subconscious level he was wary of her. Michel turned from the lobby counter and started waking in the direction of the ER.
Look at Ig's negotiation skills, offering protection only for sharing your own brain.
Finally some straight up answers, much more to Micheal's liking. He pondered the new information given to him, angles and demons then, wouldn't have been Micheal's first guess. So Shae here was recruiting him in a way, trying to maintain a balance to prevent the world from ending Micheal had to admit that was a pretty noble cause, living is pretty good. Still Micheal wasn't sure how much he could help, not like he was any kind of priest with exorcism powers.

Micheal nodded, "Ok so you need me to team up with other, called them sensitives right? And prevent the world from ending to demons and angles? Huh wouldn't have guessed that one. I don't know much about them in the first place, so not too sure about what I can do, unless you guys need a medical guy pretty sure I can patch up a gash from a demon... maybe." Micheal had no idea why he was so calm about any of this, don't know maybe Shea was on to something about sensitives ending up in mental wards, on top of that this was maybe one of the most casual conversations Micheal had with anyone for a long time, even with his own friends, huh. Even then so much for a professional appearance at this point.

Shea was also right about another thing, Micheal could feel the presence of something else just no idea what or where it is. "Well I can't really leave everything in my life, but in all honesty saving the world is not too bad, kinda like being a first responder for all of humanity, or not, actually what I said there was kinda stupid." Micheal glanced down at his watch, it was getting close to the end of his break, potential savior of the world or not he had to get back to work. "Look, I still have duties at the hospital although if I'm getting dragged into this then I shouldn't fight it eh? First chance tomorrow I'll give you a call then we can meet with your boss, Ruben." With that Micheal gave a quick wave then turned around to enter the hospital doors.
Gonna throw down one last post before calling it a night, hopefully wrapping up their conversation, not too fair to be taking up a lot of the posting time here eh?

Eh, mostly was for comfort nothing like praying to your homeland's gods for peace of mind. Also saw it as a good chance to show some more of where Randold came from.

Hmm well in terms of a coherent story my vote is on the princess saving them, mostly since we already written up to that point be odd where suddenly she's not there whacking away with her magic stick.

Edit: Ok, *sits down*

@Damiann17 - Don't mind Shae, she's abrupt with everyone... He got more words out of her than people usually get in a week. XD Her people skills are rusty.

Heh yeah its all fine, Micheal himself is kinda along the lines of no nonsense, so getting some rudeness back could be expected.
Micheal stared at Shea after her demonstration and quite frankly her lacking explanation. After seeing life force for long enough Micheal had already easily wrapped his mind around the concept of the supernatural. but really he didn't expect there to be others. Whats more is that there was lot more going on then what he thought, what did she call it? An Imp? If those things exist then there has to be a lot more, hell she even said he's going to be drawing attention. Micheal shook his head, hell no had she explained enough, abruptly dropping this information alone was pretty rude. If she wanted to talk straight up business then that's fine, seemed to be a waste trying to fabricate a story only to instantly break it down.

Micheal stood up and shouted to Shea, even matching her demeanor, "Right, you sure as hell have to explain a lot more then that." Micheal ran towards Shea, while trying to avoid the look of the receptionist while she was still trying to figure out what happened to the computer, must be having a bad night by this point.

When he caught up with Shea he spoke in a quieter voice, yet still with the same tone. "I'm all fine with you trying to do your job, whatever that is, if you're going to drop this all business like, that's even fine it saves time for both of us. Problem is if you're suppose to be bringing me up to speed, you did a pretty bad job at that." Micheal sighed, what was he doing? Right then was break time, why was he trying to reason with this antisocial tattooed woman? "Look, at least give me the full rundown, you want to get back to... whatever it is you do, and I want to get back to my coffee. I get the point of the supernatural existing, kinda been seeing life force for a while now, so feel free to skip over that."

Randold listened to Hania's prayer, the words held power and did bring some confront to him. The thing was however, the prayer was very unfamiliar to him, he had never heard it before, The names within it were strange, in reality Randold couldn't understand the higher meaning of the words, although he understood the basic meaning, a battle prayer seemed very fitting there. If he could get the chance later on Randold planned to ask the girl about this, the mystery of the woods only grew deeper as now he wondered where the others were from. Randold's sightless eyes moved upwards as he detected new movement, it was not the wolf that much he could have told. *whack* he heard the familiar sound of wood striking, the vines that encircled him shook with the force of the blow. Again the prayer was back, but this time it was not from Hania, to much of Randold's surprise it was Arise's voice.

Still Randold did not understand the prayer, although listening to it again he felt the same comfort. One thing he could admit is that he found some respect for Arise, it was still clear the princess was terrified, but she came back to help. Perhaps his initial judgment of her was wrong, maybe she could make a fair ruler, he knew that Arise couldn't see him but Randold gave a supporting simile in her direction. Randold had never been a truly pious follower back home, even then he still respected his gods, he knew a few prayers himself.

"Randolk, Brother of the Shield,
I ask you for protection from the northern winds on my journey home.

Yalmla, Patron of the Wayfarer,
I ask you for guidance so I may take the right road.

Ulthor, Speaker of the People,
I ask you for a sound tongue so I may speak with right judgment.

Althuria, Protector of the Stars,
I ask you to allow the night to shine bright so I can find my way.

Granoth, Master of Fates,
I ask you to change my destiny so that I am fated to return.

And finally,
Thorton, Keeper of the Hearth,
I ask you to protect the home so that my kin shall continue even if I were to fall."

It was only a simple prayer for travelers, of course Randold never had use for it himself, but plenty of outsiders had passed through his village that he kept it to heart.
