Mmm, true.Well, lucky I don't sleep much :PI'll try and get the first IC post up soon, been playing Metro 2033 and I feel some creative tingling in my brain.

Funny thing is I was thinking about Metro with this, mostly due to the gas masks.

After about a minute or so the foam stopped, not necessarily because there was no more foam if there was no actual fire the system is designed to automatically stop as not to waste foam. Daniel walked out from his cover after receiving Gunno's message, great it seemed that they were able to deal with the invaders during the confusion. Before meeting up with Gunno's team Daniel took a small detour to grab some supplies, he came up to a cabinet and opened it. He didn't need much in fact all he needed was a ready made toolkit packaged up in a small box with a handle. Now with the toolbox in hand Daniel made his way to the elevator, he didn't see the security team there so he assumed they were taking the other one, or even made it to the lower levels already.

As expected the elevator ride was fairly short. and soon Daniel was on the right floor. Right away nothing seemed wrong, no aliens or even signs of conflict. Daniel touched his earpiece, "Gunno, I'm on the lower deck now. I don't see any attackers so I'm heading right to the damage." Since the ship wasn't too large Daniel was upon the damage in just moments, still no signs of life which was good. The AVS spray did a good job on sealing the breach, plus the engineer who applied it seemed to know what they're were doing. Now to look at the main reason he was there, part of the wall was charred, live wires were sparking the flow with no where to go.

First things first, Daniel crouched down and opened his toolbox, since he's dealing with live wires with no quick way of stopping the flow he need protection. Daniel slipped on a pair of insulated gloves, specially made for dealing with the high amps of many shipboard electronics. Next he took an applicator tool and some capsules, the capsules were filled with a liquid known as smart metal, SM is used in repairing wiring and other circuits, its a much better solution then physically replacing wires. When SM comes into contact with any kind of gases it instantly solidifies and bonds with any present metal, problem is it bonds with ANY metal it takes a steady hand to apply it. Daniel started his work, carefully and slowly spraying small amounts of SM, the process does not not take long but any mistakes would mean needing to start over.

Site had been really moody for me, so kinda haven't been around pruely because I can't connect. Hope things stabilize soon.

Double post, sorry, I been thinking also that the relative instability of the guild is a problem. Times when I want to post something the site is down, I'm for sure not going to leave yet, but it might be a good idea to start thinking about backup sites or ways to keep going.

Something I'm curious on is do you decide a character's arcana based purely on the wish or do you take anything else into consideration?

Ancia Broker

Name: Ancia Broker

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Appearance: About average height of 5’ 6”, Ancia has a somewhat athletic build although it comes from genetics not from any conditioning. Her hair is a natural black and long reaching down past her shoulders, she typically wears it straight. Ancia’s eyes are brown on a thin somewhat angled face. For clothes she dresses plainly, often times a t-shirt and a pair of jeans would do.

Personality: “Take the advantage.” is the motto Ancia lives by and does a great job of describing her. Ancia is naturally competitive, being headstrong and independent. Ancia doesn’t make much of a socialite, in fact one of her main weaknesses is lack of any real social skills. She is not awkward, more simply she is dismissive only staying to herself and her own matters.

History: The Broker family is not much of any note, in all honesty just a standard,modern middle class household. Ancia lived a normal early childhood, did whatever a young girl did, go to school, make friends, just explore and learn life. However come around entering early teenage her life experienced a change, a more strict lifestyle became the standard. Education was very important to the Brokers, and with enforcement from Ancia’s parents academic success came to override anything else. Only top marks were accepted, anything lower was met with… unconventional punishments, nothing life threatening of course but still severe, the details of which would remain ambiguous.

By the time Anica had enrolled in her current school the social perception of herself had shifted. She never had time or incentive to make friends while not even of her own intent, that fact did not change opinions of her. Ancia didn’t become a standard outcast, rather “that someone you don’t mess with.” due to her dismissive way of dealing with other students. Moving onto the present day and now given one wish, that one wish was quick to be to decided on, more freedom.

Favorite Color: Navy Blue

Dreams: By and large freedom of choice, beyond that not much else.

Fears: Failure to succeed, overall weakness in general, and while not on a conscious level she does deeply fear loneliness.

Likes/Dislikes: Little known about her is that Ancia is really into history, specifically about warfare. Reading on battles, tactics, the biography of generals in some of her free time, the concept of leading thousands of men has always fascinated her, partly due to her inability to directly interact with others. Ancia is also a closet gamer: she enjoys the competitive atmosphere from multiplayer games.

In terms of dislikes, bananas, the texture of the food just doesn’t sit well with her. Ancia doesn’t take well to anything feminine, a case of tastes more than anything else, course this does make her out to be a tomboy.

Wish: To be more of a leader, yet more importantly to take control of her destiny.

Magic Knight Uniform: The uniform is modeled after Medieval attire expect instead of white its navy blue. The boots are simple leather with not much in the way of decoration, and instead of bracers she wears iron gauntlets. The uniform also comes with a cowl still following the coloring scheme of blue. The Soul Gem takes form of a sapphire pendant that hangs around the neck.

Chosen Weapon: Spears.

Other: Finished this around 2 AM my time, probably going back to tweak things later on.

Hmm well the character I'm working on is a spear user, don't know if they'll be too similar and one of us would have to pick a new one.
