Dead Again and Again: Tale of Reincarnation

You are a human who lives somewhere, again where that is doesn’t matter and again those reason will become clear enough soon. You are a human with a home or perhaps without one, of course that doesn’t matter. You are a human with friends, with family, they don’t matter. You are a human with a job, maybe, that doesn’t matter. You are a human with a life, and that does matter, a lot more than you can imagine.

The words glowed on the screen, from what could be anything a computer, tablet, phone, or any other various gadget that exist in a technology rich environment. You are anybody, you live anywhere, and you do anything. When you were doing anything you got a message, this message came from somewhere by someone.

Trust me all this has some kind of purpose and is not all nonsense, get used to not knowing what’s going on. Anyway welcome to Dead Again and Again, the whole premise is the idea of dying then rebirth only to die again. Character deaths are the staple of this RP where each one is not only allowed to die, they are expected to die, but of course it doesn’t mean they are gone for they will be reincarnated. Anyone can become someone else, almost anything can be different in the next incarnation from physical appearance, to socioeconomic status, to even gender. The only things that remains intact is the memories and base personality, at least for a while. To explain a bit more, yes the above is the CS and just fill it out as normal, also the last question is part of the CS. Your answer can be anything you feel that fits the character, the only requirement is it must be a noun with three or less words.

In terms of rules I’m pretty relaxed and I don’t feel a list is needed, just don’t be stupid and remain mature in the OOC, if an argument gets out of control I will put an end to it. Due to the general complexity don’t worry about falling behind, the pace I expect will be slow and I will be pushing forward as such. There is more to cover, but that will be revealed once it becomes relevant.

▷ History: With a mere 10 years on this Earth Ferra hasn't had much of history to speak of, but the life she has lived has been quite well adjusted as anyone could expect in this day and age. Her father and mother separated before her birth, so her lack of father was never too detrimental in her life. Her mother (Francine) works as a dental hygienist and always gave Ferra anything she could ever possibly want and need. She often is being dropped off at school, her grandparent's house, or dance practice.

Playing with her tablet on the trip to her grandparent's house, she began to fill out the pop up message for cure of boredom.

Occupation: Heiress to the FTC (Fontana Technology Corporation)

History: Laura had been a celebrity since before her birth. She was the only daughter to the CEO of the FTC (Julius) and his third trophy wife (Lurieth), a world-class top model at the time. Her parents' marriage had been one much criticized, since rumor had it that Lurieth had been the cause of Julian's divorce from his second wife. However, these rumors were forgotten as soon as word broke that Laura was on the way. Lurieth had decided to retire from her modeling career to 'raise her daughter', though this was far from true because she was away most of the time due to her many charity compromises. Laura, the trophy daughter, had been born with everything except her parents' attention. No matter how hard she tried (top grades, starring roles in ballet recitals and such), there was always an excuse to be absent. But instead of turning into the crazy party girl most daughter of billionaires became, Laura had been the complete opposite. The fear of being utilized had turned her completely antisocial, to the point where the media had given her the nickname of "Ice Queen". She embraced the title proudly, because in Laura's position, everybody wanted to kiss her, kill her or be her. She was set to receive access to her father's fortune on her twenty-first birthday.

The random message had appeared in the form of an e-mail on Laura's iPad. She frowned at the screen in annoyance (she didn't have time for this nonsense, but decided to answer the few questions anyway.

Hope this is going to be a common theme where in situations like this some of our powers are going to be more suited for the task then others. Like I fully expected Tracy to be the most effective here since she has the high speed and reaction.

OOC should be going up soonish, also decided on a in-between setting with it being the year 2027 so in the future but not far.

Ancia didn't panic, normally she can handle a crisis fairy well maybe not usually on this kind of scale with human lives at stake, but she never had been one to buckle under pressure. Not wanting to waste time Ancia dressed up in her uniform, she needed to be real fast, faster then even her knight status could allow, and even though she hasn't properly used her powers yet it was the only option she could think of. Ancia closed her eyes, time was essential so she decided to use the first animal that came to mind. As she focused her magic she started feeling warm, not painfully more like a pleasant heat, all over she could feel bones shifting, and skin stretching among other things. The process wasn't slow but all happened at once in rapid succession. In her place stood a black furred wolf, to Ancia the drastic change in perception was disorientating with different senses, and just standing at a different height didn't help as well.

Wolf Ancia jumped right into action by sprinting towards the people, in hind sight it was difficult to drag people away without opposable thumbs and standing at half the height of the average human. Still by acting quickly she was able to bring two people out of harm's way before the train got too close, she could only hope her fellow knights were able to save everyone else. It seemed that Markus managed to get three off the tracks by using his ethereal powers, good meant that at the time five people were safe.

Dead Again and Again

Alright I got two scenarios to use at this point. The first is based on just a modern day city, possibly real or fictional. The benefit to this is things would be familiar and less complex. The other one is a futuristic city built by some very smart people with lots of money in the years 21XX. The whole concept is the city was built from the ground up in an attempt to create an automised society so to speak. What we get here is a utopian (dystopian?) world with plenty of high tech themes and generally more free creativity. Problem is the setting might be too complex when paired with the already existing complexity of the RP.
