Current I’ve seen this argument before on the Internet. Pretty sure Drache is right because that’s literally the pronunciation found on the Nutella website.

Yeah... you just need to chill out. Look, you haven't been here for that long and you just gotta have patience. Throw your ideas and interest out there, that's all you can do to find good people.

Oh hey, someone who's not shitting all over Andromeda. It seriously fell short to meet its hype and animations were jank as hell, still wasn't a terrible game and I liked it.

Man... everytime Discord goes offline I'm reminded how important it is for my communications with people. All by myself now.

So I'm starting to feel sick, little bit of fever and all. That's the reason why I might not be too responsive.

Bio

Alright new bio because the one I had before was about... two... three years out of date? Basically I haven't touched this since I joined the site. Nothing fancy to say here, I'm a person who also happens to write stuff with other persons. Simple stuff. In a more serious note I mainly stick with 1x1s nowadays, but not for any particular reason other than that's how it worked out. I suppose the other major thing to note is if we do have an RP going, and I haven't responded for a while then feel free to get my attention. I'm also a fan of OOC chatter, its nice to have, but hey it isn't required either.

And... that's it.

~~Hi~~

Instead of a really fancy title, have a really fancy hi.

Update: Well, probably would be a good time to finally fix up, and otherwise polish things here. Yeah, gonna start working this again, maybe actually come up with new ideas for once. Really though, this is a year old now. Huh. Now to come up with new creative ideas...

Hello for anyone who decided to take a peek, here you'll not find just any other general interest check, you will find just any other general interest check with a giant italicized "hi" as there is a difference. To set the mood and expectations, if you can't already tell, I'm just looking to have a fun, easy going time. Now that's not to say the actual stories at hand aren't going to be serious, I feel its important not to stress out while writing, after all we're hobbyists here right? At the moment I'm trying to find a few new partners, since there isn't much I like out there I thought it'll good to make my own for once. So first I'm just gonna outline a couple of items, just what could be expected from me.

-In a RP you could expect a post from me every day, now this can be varied as my posting rate does fluctuate depending on my overall engrossment into the story, everyday matters, and just level of mojo.

-With each post I will typically write a good 3-4 paragraphs minimum now don't worry too much about matching my length, so long as what you write makes progress I'm happy.

-Romance is actually a pretty important element for me, I believe that it adds fantastic motivation for characters, and adds a great extra dimension to relationships, plus I'd be lying if I were to say I don't like that fuzzy feeling that comes when some lovin' starts. So to make sure its known, my plot ideas have romance in mind as an ultimate objective, although still remaining secondary.

-I am perfectly fine with a large range of things, be it gore, swearing or etcetera. If anything does go too far, it has to be way out there, and to clarify of course if anything becomes sexual in nature it will be in PMs, gotta follow Guild rules.

-Playing both genders is perfectly comfortable for me, now I may have a preference when it comes to a particular RP, but that is easily negotiable. Actually while I used to only go with MxF, FxF couples have grown on me recently so that's another pairing that works.

-My only personal expectation for potential partners is don't flake out, if something comes up or you so happen to start hating me, just say that's the case so we could peacefully parts ways without a lot of mystery involved.

Now for the plots I thought up, I don't do vague parings since I think they just leave RPs directionless at least from the beginning.

Update: Also I've found that some of the best RPs I've gotten from this thread are new ideas pitched by people. So yeah I really encourage you to bring your own new plots to the table if you want, seriously I want them.

I plan on adding more later on, for now these are the possibilities I present. Anyway to those who reached the end, and are considering to take me up on a most excellent adventure, just send me a PM then we'll go right into talks.

Update: So I decided to change one of my policies. I will NOT respond to replies to this thread, its simply much easier for me to do things through PMs.
I'll admit I am extremely tempted to join since I'm a fan of the series, but probably not as knowledgeable as I could be really. Only picked up the games recently to play myself and just partway through Shadow of Chernobyl. For sure going to keep an eye of this, if some people sign up then I might join in.
The newly minted couple just arrived in the village proper with Kiori taking the lead, after their life changing kiss the two of them decided it was about time to enter the village. Personally Rylee would've been more than happy to stay like that with him, tightly wrapped around him, so close she could feel everything from his body heat, to the beat of his heat, and to sound of each breath of his lungs. She knew he had to feel the same way as well, it was different from when they were only friends, Rylee had the sense that she can understand him much better for they have truly become much closer, she can trust him beyond what was previously thought possible.

Although... Rylee had to admit, she wasn't too sure how she should treat him anymore. Should she try to be constantly loving, always expressing her love by throwing herself at him through more embraces, or should she just keep things how they've been, simply joking around to have fun, though of course while still finding moments to be intimate. For the time being she shouldn't stress those aspects of their relationship, they just begun maybe it'll simply take time to become used to their new status, by her own words she probably should act naturally.

The village looked quite different from when they stood at a distance, as expected. While not suffering it was clear these people could fare better. Many of the homes were dilapidated, some were at an angle due to years of soil erosion, others had roofs slightly curving in from many days of rain. The buildings that at one point were painted looked to be faded now, the walls were covered in scratches and dirt. The villages themselves for the most part seemed to be in good health, no one was obviously starving or deadly ill. If Rylee had to guess due to the village's isolation, and relative lack of wealth, taxes from the Guild could be minimal as such the lack of tax burdens probably helped to improve their lifestyle.

No one seemed to care about their presence, all expect one man. He was clearly very old, his hair wispy and white as spider silk, his muscles were atrophied attesting to the man's advanced age. His clothing was extremely worn, a hemp shirt and pair of hemp pants with a leather vest as an extra piece. He wore no shoes and as such his exposed feet were filthy, caked in clay and mud, toenails yellowed as they were infested with fungus. The elder squinted, eyes that expressed deep wisdom peered from his ancient face, which was covered in many scars and lines. "We do not receive travelers, why have you come here?" His statement was to the point, his voice was rasping and wheezing. This old man wasn't too pleased to see strangers enter his home.

With Kiori in the front it was only natural for him to respond, and Rylee wanted him to speak for them, it was good practice to intact with someone other than her. She took a few steps forward and with both hands she grasped his shoulder. She gave a reassuring and affectionate squeeze as to signal he should talk. If Kiori were to look back, Rylee would express a soft, knowing smile, letting him know it was alright, she was right there in case something were to go wrong.
The wait was almost unbearable, was he going to say no? Did she royally screw up? Did she just destroy a friendship returned from the brink by wanting more? Rylee dared to take just a glance, Kiori was looking away, he was looking away. What did this mean? Did he feel the same, being too embarrassed to face her, or was he straight up disgusted wanting nothing more to do with her... She can take it all back, it can't be too late, all she had to do is force her best smile, force his attention, then say something along the lines of, "Haha you silly boy you, falling for that..." or something.... Rylee was more than panicking as she truly believed that right there she just lost her best and only friend, she was terrified, more terrified than when she faced him in the tavern. Then he gave his answer. He didn't say no.

Rylee couldn't even fathom a response, she was so utterly and totally lost she couldn't make a sound. Instead being completely dumbfounded she peered right into Kiori's eyes, what she saw was determination, he was serious. She didn't know what to expect, for her while she desired this, so badly that before now she didn't even know she wanted this, yet it was something else for these desires to come true. She allowed him to make all the movements, besides her body wasn't about to comply to her commands both flesh and mind were paralyzed. He laid one hand behind her head, and his the other, still caught by hers, curled around her fingers in a tight grip, now they really were holding hands. He leaned forward, then it happened. They locked lips.

If her mind was blank before, it was gone now, absolutely nowhere to be found. Everything felt numb, from head to toe and back. Rylee's eyes were still open, pupils dilated tenfold as they were personally reacting to the stimuli she was currently experiencing right there in that moment. This was a kiss, not just that... it was her first kiss, and maybe even more important then that it was their first kiss, essentially a contract proving they are much more than friends, despite all that's happened their feelings and love culminated into this single place in time. To Rylee this was pure, unadulterated, bliss. She didn't know how long they were locked in their embrace, yet when they backed off, their first kiss over and done, Rylee wanted it again. Now working under her own will, using her remaining free arm she hooked it around Kiori's neck to bring him in once more. She initiated the act this time, this time her eyes were closed simply to block out unnecessary information for she only wanted to feel his warmth, this time her actions were overflowing with passion, squeezing him so tightly as never to let him go, not ever again.

This second kiss lasted longer, partly due to Rylee's unwillingness to allow it to end, however it had to end for an unflattering reason at that, she needed to breath. She sat there facing Kiori head on, this was it they were lovers now, girlfriend and boyfriend without a doubt. From then on they couldn't leave each other, that cannot be a possibility, not ever. Still locked locked together, Rylee knew she had to say something, it probably should be profound, it had to commemorate this new life they will share together, yet... in a typical style of hers what she said was nothing too groundbreaking.

The meekest "Yay" of her entire life.
And so begins the romance, pretty damn exciting. Would love to post now to keep the ball rolling, but probably should get sleep first. Congratulations for us reaching this milestone, huh?
Kiori's initial response while not answering what she asked wasn't wrong, only a few days ago they were locked in mortal combat, then before that neither of them existed in the other's world, not anymore. Here in the present both him and Rylee were back to having fun, just enjoying some worthwhile company in each other. She would've been satisfied if that's all he said, in this reality and all others they will remain close friends forever. Amazing really, that they share a connection so potent, so timeless that when all other bonds would break they survived. He fell silent, she was about to reply, maybe to thank him for quieting her mind, that is until he continued.

Rylee was shocked, or just surprised... she didn't know how exactly she felt, by then that sense of confusion wasn't unfamiliar, still what did Kiori mean? They would've shared their first kiss, that's what he said... that is what he really thinks? In this reality with Rylee the Constable and Kiori the Assassin they have never kissed, they never had that relationship, what if in another timeline the facts would be reversed, living a normal, peaceful life as an actual couple. From the back regions of her mind echoed a single thought.

She wanted that.

Rylee chuckled, admittedly an uneasy one. "If we had a dog, I would name him Pickles, weird name yeah? Ever heard a dog named Pickles? No? Well that's why I would name him Pickles, a cool unique name no one would ever expect, and I'd like surprising our neighbors. Heh, wouldn't mind being odd and strange, better than being boring." Her bantering was about normal, however to her it felt a little stilted, there was just too much weighing on her, she was thinking too much still. Gradually she started inching ever closer to Kiori, partly not to startle him, however more importantly she had absolutely no idea what she was doing. After some second guessing, some hesitation, that head of hers crowded. jam packed with a combination of hope, and doubt, all wrapped up into a Pandora's Box, if she decided to do this there will be no turning back.

She laid her hand over Kiori's, with a little luck he wouldn't pull away... right? Rylee's breathing deepened, perhaps not noticeable to him, yet to her it felt like she was nearly suffocating. She was deadly quiet, the longer this lasted the more embarrassed she felt, then before long she looked truly flustered, cheeks feverishly red. Rylee wasn't looking at Kiori, no she was starting directly at the blades of grass beneath them, this was her last chance to forgot everything, just keep to the status quo... She swallowed her rising panic, opened her mouth, then spoke clearly as she could manage.

"What if we kissed now?"
Kiori didn't seem to be bothered or really took any notice to what she said which relieved Rylee greatly, although in truth even if he didn't react he had to know where she was going, it would've been too hard not to. While it started off as another lighthearted rambling it evolved into something else, she didn't mean to go that far in depth describing a hypothetical scene where they actually kiss. It came so naturally to her as if it was rehearsed many times, a lot of years have passed where they were no longer children but full fledged adults in their own right, maybe feelings of this caliber aren't too far fetched... maybe there was some hard truth behind her slip.

Needless to say Kiori knew none of this thought process or perhaps even knew she was mulling over what happened so extensively as Rylee imminently attempted to bounce back. "I wouldn't settle on just a parrot, if I were a pirate captain... oh why stop there, if I were a pirate queen I'd have a pet tiger, one of those white ones even, after all I would be an infamous pirate lord, heh." Other than some lingering hesitation Rylee was back in full swing, her smile back and joking again, besides she owe it to Kiori to emotionally support him so becoming lost in her own conflicting emotions couldn't be an option. From here she went on about other topics, some related like seafood, to others completely different such as why dogs walk on four legs, or how many nuts a squirrel can stuff into its cheeks. It was completely ridiculous, but also totally unfiltered fun just like from before.

Half an hour later Rylee finally ran out of conversation ideas, and she was pretty sure Kiori was in the same boat, so instead she was quite content to stare off into the distant scenery, the nearby ocean, the village itself, and some nearby woodland. Although now she wasn't actively talking her mind started to wander once more, about what she thought of her friend. For the longest time they were best friends, then forced to be strangers by separation, then enemies, then wary allies, then childhood friends again. They've gone full circle, so what should happen now, could they go... further. Her mind swarmed with the possibilities, could it be possible to get more out of their relationship, should they even try? These were new ideas to her, they've simply never came up before in everyday life, especially when that life with filled with duties as a constable.

Soon enough Rylee had enough, she had to fish for some answers... in a subtle manner. "...Kio? You ever thought about what could've happened if we were never separated? You know, if we were able to pick up right from before our lives got thrown aside? We'd probably still be friends for sure even to this day... but... I- well... *sigh* don't know, what do you think?" Nothing too smooth, not at all, but she didn't want to ask him directly, at least not yet. Besides she wasn't sure herself as really since these feelings quite frankly came about too suddenly, that's what it felt like.
Thinking I'll start adding a bit of romance here and there, we've been going on long enough that I think its about time we really start developing their relationship more that now they've more or less recovered their friendship.
It was still refreshing to hear Kiori talking like a normal person once again, it almost felt like she really had him back. Rylee sat back up smiling right at him. "Living by the ocean does sound nice huh? Don't think I've told you this even when we we're kids, but I wanted to a be a pirate, heh. Na none of that looting and pillaging, just for the spirit of adventure, suppose staying in a large city like Cerdarburg brought out those dreams." She was purposefully dodging the issue of his fear, there was no reason to talk about rather it was better to cheer him up through other conversation topics.

Rylee scooted closer to Kiori not quite in his face, but pretty close. "So... its a shame our story isn't true, that's what you said right? Us being husband and wife who came from some poor hamlet in the middle of the woods, who came here to find a new life after losing everything to fires. We wake up every day in the same bed, and sleep in the same one at night, each time cuddling in each other's arms. Maybe we would do everything together, straighten up our tiny little home, in a tiny little town on the seaside." Of course to Rylee she was just teasing, her intent was to give him a hard time... but. "At dusk we sit on the very edge off the cliffs to watch the setting sun as it goes below the waves... I look into your eyes, and you look back into mine, that all we see is a deep unending love... then... when the time is right... we kiss..." As she continued Rylee in a sense was almost becoming serious, as she continued that mocking grin of hers faded into a neutral expression as if she really meant what she was saying.

It was at this point it dawned upon Rylee how she was sounding and of course what she was saying. Her words were left hanging as very faintly, and honestly quite briefly her cheeks reddened in a blush, she hoped Kiori didn't see it. Rylee abruptly coughed, maybe to cover up her sudden awkwardness. "I mean... uh... yeah it would be nice if we didn't have to lie, you know with a good fresh start right here in this village..." She looked away from Kiori, somewhat too embarrassed to face him directly.
Rylee was now satisfied that Kiori really does know his role, he recounted their story almost word to word. With luck people won't ask too many question so the need to further complicate their story wouldn't arise, still if that does happen she was confident that she'll be able to cover up fairly easily, she just wasn't sure about him. When Kiori admitted that he probably would lose a single man duel with the assassin, she wasn't surprised especially with the reasons he presented, although when he pointed out that she is an advantage Rylee was admittedly somewhat surprised, mostly since she did poorly in the tavern as he just pointed out again.

When Kiori suggested that he should train her how to fight an assassin, knowing the obvious truth that this also included killing the man, she stayed silent for a good few moments. Finally she responded. "Fine, I actually wanted you help with a bit of training anyway, since we remember how it went down back in the tavern and all. Also before you say anything I know that includes killing the assassin, but... despite what you might think I'm alright with this, an assassin and normal folk are not cut from the same cloth. I know it can be hypocritical to place one's life above another's right? Well the difference is that assassin has killed plenty of people himself already, and can't be too picky in a survival situation."

With that covered Rylee laid down on the ground, well off the main road and in the grass just taking in the view of the far off village. "Enough about doom and gloom for the moment, know that I understand our survival is important, more important than anything else. What else we should work on is you, Kio you're not fully recovered after one session of pouring your heart out with a hug to top things off, we both know that. So... how are you doing at the moment, just say what are you thinking about as a nice and easy place to start for the time being."
