Hello all!
I am Dark Hufflepuff or DH for short. I am returning to the guild after not roleplaying for quite some time. I had another account once upon a time but I have since forgotten both the username and password so I am starting fresh.
I am looking to have some very fun, long-lasting, and well-developed stories and roleplays with writers whom are looking for the same. I mostly enjoy playing in fandoms of worlds already built and expanding on the rich lore that's already there. However, I am certainly not against building a new world or writing something set in history or future of our own.
When it comes to characters I prefer to develop and describe them through my writing and roleplay versus drawing up a character sheet beforehand. Of course this is all preference and so no offense meant to anyone who prefers character sheets.
In regards to gender pairings, I am fine with any. MxF, MxM, FxF, whatever. I typically default to play male however I am perfectly capable of writing female characters and will have several side characters of any and all genders. And when it comes to romance I am totally fine with it. Just let me know if you are looking for our characters to go that way and we can totally make it happen. Or if you prefer to keep things platonic between them, then that is great as well. And we can focus completely on their friendship or rivalry.
For mature scenes, I am comfortable with playing it out or fading to black, and enjoy both. Completely up to my partners preference. However, my interest will start to wane if it becomes a total smut-fest and the plot comes to a halt every few posts. Also if you are looking to play it out, be 18 or older. I won't play out romance scenes with anyone younger than that.

The Tri-Wizard Tournament was a tournament held once every five years. The host rotated between the three participating European Wizarding school. However, the last Tournament was suspended, and instead Headmasters and -mistresses from across the world met to discuss the creation of an International Wizarding World Tournament.
Hogwarts was chosen to be the first host of the tournament and students from around the world would soon begin traveling to the great school for their very first time. 8 Schools would participate:
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Beauxbatons Academy of Magic
Durmstrang Institute
Castelobruxo
Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Koldovstoretz
Mahoutokoro School of Magic
Uagadou School of Magic
So the idea behind this roleplay is that we will play a Triwizard Tournament, but between 8 different schools around the world. I will be playing a character from one of the foreign schools so my partner is free to choose Hogwarts or any other school as their own.
As for competitions, I would like to discuss those with you in PM before each competition. So we don't have to bother coming up with every one at the start. Also we can discuss possibly a bracketed round-based system where school champions are knocked out after each competition until a final four is left to compete in the final challenge.
I would also love to explore the friendships and rivalries that develop between the students of differing backgrounds, as well as seeing our students get into mischief as they explore Hogwarts for, possibly, the first time.

War has broken out between three major alliances on the planet of Eden Nova. Tensions had been rising for years. And now the stage was set for the first bloodshed the planet would see since it's colonization. The NorHem forces were preparing to launch an invasion into Central Gaveria.
NorHem was able to take advantage of their major Mech production as well as using their vast wealth to hire numerous merc companies. This meant they had the numbers. But the Gaverians were resilient and resourceful. But only time would tell if they could hold back the tide of the Northern onslaught.
Not to mention rumblings to the south that the Pan-Pelago was looking to reclaim mainland territory once theirs.
So that's the premise of my plot idea. Very vague and open ended. That is intentional as I designed this prompt to be a sandbox based on who is playing.
Depending on the character you play, the story can and will go a number of different ways. I of course will be playing my own character so between the two of us I hope to come up with an incredible story full of twists and turns.

Try as the Ministry might, they were unable to contain the reports that Witches and Wizards lived among them. Suspicion was rampant among the muggle communities and a new age of Witch Trials begun.
With the Magical and Muggle worlds on the brink of war, it was an uncertain time for new and returning students of Hogwarts. The Legends of Harry Potter and the Second Wizarding War were of an era long past. The Heroes who would guide the lost through the dark were still honing their skills. And rumors of a Darker nature were spreading through the halls.
So will you be a beacon of hope to bridge the world of Muggle and Magic-folk, alike? Or will you take a darker path to power, and force those beneath you to submit or perish? Only you can choose your path, and it starts with Hogwarts' Dark Secret.
So that's the premise of my plot idea. Very vague and open ended when referring to our characters. That is intentional as I designed this prompt to be a sandbox based on who is playing.
