My best idea for the sequel for my nation is that the ZP collapses from certain events (and if keyguy is willing for me to throw in illegal/legal immagrants at his planets during a certain crisis, that would be dandy) and only a select few planets remain (they're basically shepherds and farmers, except for a select few cities which remain significantly intelligent, but do not have the resources or power to use FTL or make a basic ship to travel). The colonies on other galaxies are cut off from the main systems, so they are either A. Eradicated B. Fended off for themselves and now survive in a 21st century like climate C. Have formed their own systems but remain to themselves as they can't go to the main systems, or maybe another option, I don't know. This would leave the gods to allow one, final, Hach species to develop themselves (will make this later) and they basically search the Milky way on clues of the ZP remnants. They basically want to find the history of their moral codes, species, religions, etc and will do anything to obtain the information, whether it would be trade, diplomacy, or invasions and eradication of the other species. It would be like the Covenant in Halo. so to speak. And I was gonna have more Hach species, but at this time and since there wont be numerous galaxies, I'll leave it at 3 (now four possibly)

I think we're going with a "we are confined to this galaxy" (though i might have misunderstood) but otherwise that's pretty cool, its be fun to see whether the two different parts of the Hach would get on once they meet

I don't know what bisexuality has to do with feminity (besides a controversial paper, that is)) but do we really need to know that...

Anyways, I need to ask why Faust will stick a shield in place for thousands of years... But wouldn't just stop the Reapers from destroying everyone in the first place o.0
Actually, I was hoping the Supremes might have helped with mark two of project severance

(Just realised only half of my last post went through too. Basically, what I said was

2nd was defences. They were able to fend off the Reapers for long enough to complete their weapon
The weapon worked by detecting a specific U particles, an occurrence from the border dimension between universes which vary in shape and size depending on the pressure, which forms from different universes, thus making it a sort of point of origin thing
With it they were able to kick the reapers out of the universe
It strengthened the universe borders, preventing the reapers coming back again
They might have had Supremes help with this, because I don't think the Supremes would sit around on their arse for 10000+ years while the Collective tries to build a device to end the Universal War
This gives us a reason to not have the Reapers curb stomping us the second we show signs of becoming space age again as well.
"Armed with a refinement of the piece of technology that caused the Universal Cataclysm Disaster... They able to destroy the extra-universal threat and finally 'reclaim' their own universe"

This.

This is a two fold advantage. One it gives a reason for the Collective to have survived, having been able to stave off the threat after tens of thousands of years of endless war. Two: It gives a good reason for why we can actually return and not be curb stomped by the evil extra-universal Empires. The barrier between the Primary Universe and the tertiary universe were reinforced, locking the aliens out. While it likely wouldn't stop them forever, why bother trying to break reinforced walls when you can just go break standard ones and invade a separate universe? Especially when you know the technology exists that was able to beat you the first time.

Now, how is this tech not overpowered? One: It is designed only to work on extra-universal signatures. Potentially you could invert it, but it couldn't tell the differences between species, only those which are native to the primary universe and those which aren't. Two: Its one of the most resource intensive pieces of tech Three: It took over 10,000 years to get it to the point it would only attack the reapers without essentially causing the apocalypse. While it would obviously be shorter now they have fixed the universal apocalypse problem, it would still require a ridiculous amount of time to reprogram it for another race. The Collective only managed to survive long enough the first time round because it had two major advantages the other races didn't.
The first is Psionics. The Collective were able to survive so long because they had psionics. The ability is highly versatile and played an important role in both battle and the construction of the weapon (Details to be released shortly, I am working on a short story styled thing to just post here about that)
T
The Universal War refers to the War between the two Universes, hence 'Universal', IE: The Reaper INvasion
The Collective has pretty much won the current war if you see my last few posts
What I've got for the Collectives new history so far

During the Universal War, the Collective inadvertantly collided the Primary Universe with the Secondary Universe as a result of the usage of a new piece of technology in an attempt to end the Universal War. This result in many storms erupting across the universe which have completely destroyed an unknown number of sentient species. In addition, this rendered the traditional means of Collective inter-galactic travel completely impossible, and standard travel across the galaxies implausible due to the dangers arising from 'tears', holes in space time where the Primary and Secondary universes have collided. Another effect, coupled with the effects of the Universal War, was the near complete destruction of most extra-galactic holdings across the universe. The storms disolved quickly in the milky way, but not before devastating entire planets and wiping out many different lifeforms across the galaxy. The effects of this collision are estimated to last a further 500,000 years These tears weakened not just the barrier between the primary and secondary universes, but other universes as well, and this allowed for the arrival of more extra universal entities
In short, the Collective caused a universal apocalypse in their attempts to end another universal apocalypse.
As a result of this, the Collective could not reach it's extra-Galactic holdings, and as such they fell one by one as their defences failed and no reinforcements came from other galaxies. They were picked off one by one. The Collective was locked in a losing battle for many, many years. Tens of millennia passed before the tide finally turned. Armed with a refinement of the piece of technology that caused the Universal Cataclysm Disaster, finally perfected after many Triarian Lifetimes of work (Thousands of years) they were able to destroy the extra-universal threat and finally 'reclaim' their own universe. And what was left of the Collective, drastically reduced in size, man power etcetera, stood upon an island of corpses in a sea of blood. Although brutally beaten, they had held.
For the first time in living memory the section 'The Greater Good Prevails' was played. But there was no celebration. Everywhere one looked they would see death, they would see decay. Everyone had lost multiple family members and many had known only war. As such it was branded the single most horrific war in Collective History. After the war, a recording of the traditional Umbrae Populus song, Dium'zul, became the number one played audio track within the Collective and remained so for many cycles.

I don't know on name, though I have to ask what's wrong with calling it Void of the Stars 2 or just Void of the Stars: Resurgence or something lel
War report #21AOC-11-041

Praelatus Meus, the attack on the hostile homeworld has been completed. Outcome: World glassed, shard retrieved for historical purposes, all political conscripts for the area deserviced
Sundown-2 reports minor hostile activity in sector pink 90, Sundown-2-1 pursuing, Sundown 2-2 moving to intercede
Sundown-3 reports Zero Hostile activity in sector Pink 91, sector cauterised.
Useful knowledge from political conscript #CSP-01-29181 ((Ara)) Extracted, requesting permission to deservice
Situation with the hostile is resolving, our goals in this conflict are concluding. Preparing for final push

Re:War report #21AOC-11-041

10-4
Do not deservice political conscript #CSP-01-29181, subject may be useful for peace negotiations
10-74, prepare for peace negotiations, the conflict need not go on any longer and the malignant is already pacified. No reason for absorption at this time, no reason for full amputation at this time.
Honestly I don't see that as much of a resume... lel

Anyway, all that nonsense aside, are we going to get this going or what?

You do realize that the antagonists of this roleplay are guys called Kiith who take over multiple Universes?Transdimensional Combine aren't going to be too much off a problem for them.

Its multi-universal empire. They are known as the universal union and they control an unknown but likely large number of universes by using their advanced dark energy teleportation devices to zip into different universes and grab them for their empire. Also, we don't know what invaded Earth. Its implied by Breen, (especially if you consider its function to serve as a link, a bit like constructing a dock) and a line from hl2 raising the bar that the citadel appeared after the surrender (The war lasted seven hours, the citadel, according to raising the bar, replaced entire blocks of the city overnight, which thus might be after the seven hour war) The majority of the invasion force has already left too, what we see in hl2 is just an occupation force, and its possible they used other types of more deadly synths (we see some in the game we never fight, and the hunters didnt turn up till white forest making it possible that the combine had reserves of forces that we know nothing about) hence why they try to call for reinforcements and Vance comments the Resistance wouldn't last seven minutes.

Thus, a second trans universe empire could be a massive problem...
Hardpoint nomad reactive perimeter restrictors and report...

OTA and Striders and dropships, oh my! (Though the gunships have taken a holiday apparently, lel) My forces suddenly look underwhelming with their 100 dropships lel

Lets just hope they don't repair their super portal and add the Star Wars universe to their empire... Transhuman Jedi would make Freeman cry xD
