My point for ignoring the peace process is invading the south and disregarding the Argonian people's intent for a military supporting of the south via the 200 peacekeepers. Your character was informed of the Argonian troops incoming through the messenger, and yet you still went 'Well, better invade.'The Argonians see that as a direct insult: The empire has ignored their intent and is accelerating the north's invasion of the south, despite the Argonians declaring a support for the South. To Rules-With-Claw, you have just spat in his eye and said that his desires to support the south mean nothing to the empire. (Disclaimer: I'm giving information to the perspective of the Argonian mindset. I understand what you are doing and am having a bit of passive-aggressive banter. Don't take this as anything more than tongue-in-cheek informing of what will likely be the results of your decisions.)
