The north could've done that as well. I mean actually I'd be completely up for that.

I think the idea was that if he supported the south in their time of need, they'd be closer than the north ever would have been with him
I just collectivise whoever duck decides to throw at me. The Collective can find a use for all of you... and those of you it can't, it can recycle.
Trandoshans

"Surrender accepted, you shall be assimilated into the great good, lay down your arms, civilis protectione Xenos branch shall be estbalished. All police forces shall be assimilated into CCA. All military forces shall be assimilated into Equitem. Planetary security is established" A Triarian voice returned, as more dropships moved down towards the planet and portals opened, letting soldiers move out and onto the floor to secure the planet

Kashyyyk

The Collective force, with the same numbers composition as the fleet which had invaded Trandoshans, arrived in system above the planet and slowly drifted towards it, broadcasting a message
"Attention, please. Planetary body to be collectivised. Resistors shall be amputated." The AI broadcasted
In his defense, I don't think they were that unprepared because IIRC they took Torval before the Summit was over, so Ta'fel seemed more interested in just seizing the south. The South is more of an NPC nation than a PC nation, and the redguards weren't given a proper chance to defend despite being a PC nation, and in a collab post that Pyandonea still needs to stick up the imperial navy did deliver supplies and seige equipment to Torval once Ta'fel had it (And according to the next piece of the collab, it was 1.5 days earlier than the current time that they did that, though that means the Argonians have likely arrived by now, though he could have started marching then and gotten to Senchal a few days later) Though writing 'a few hours later' and having marched an army from Torval to Senchal is pretty insane shit. Days would be more the measurement, I think, and by then the argonians will likely have arrived, unless they have encountered pirates
True, true I suppose, hehe

Well, it looks like the south is firmly in Northern grasp again. Lets see how Rules-With-Claw responds to seeing the North having taken over the south again

My point for ignoring the peace process is invading the south and disregarding the Argonian people's intent for a military supporting of the south via the 200 peacekeepers. Your character was informed of the Argonian troops incoming through the messenger, and yet you still went 'Well, better invade.'The Argonians see that as a direct insult: The empire has ignored their intent and is accelerating the north's invasion of the south, despite the Argonians declaring a support for the South. To Rules-With-Claw, you have just spat in his eye and said that his desires to support the south mean nothing to the empire. (Disclaimer: I'm giving information to the perspective of the Argonian mindset. I understand what you are doing and am having a bit of passive-aggressive banter. Don't take this as anything more than tongue-in-cheek informing of what will likely be the results of your decisions.)

But the Emperor isn't even overseeing the Elsweyr conflict... and it's the North which is invading really, most are loyalist North Armies rather than Imperial Legions... and the south isn't really it's own state, de jure it's an illegal group of rebels/terrorists (they burnt down a whole town), so in the eyes of the Imperials, Argonians declaring support for the south is more of an insult to the Empire than the Empire stamping out said rebels is an insult to the Argonians.

Rules-With-Claw and the Argonians are so damn strange, I wish I understood their damned mindset

My bosmer found the spy in elswyer should I speak to grevious or dark wolf about it

You'd have to speak to grevious I think, unless you want to stop the Legate as he marches over to the south of Elsweyr
But... the Empire was the first to call a peace meeting (Which was ignored) and try to handle the situation in a peaceful manner. Black marsh promptly ignored it until it suited them to use it to their political gain
It was only when Takar was burned and the North retaliated that the Empire became involved in anything past trying to establish talks, Elsweyr is mostly settling it's self, the Imperials haven't really done much major military action except disrupt supply routes.
The Civil War has been bad, yes, but it's really unfair to lay the blame at the Empires feet when it's been established the first aggression was from the South and the Empire hasn't really done anything militarily until my most recent post
The only destiny I see is the pirates holding your soldiers heads, sending a single ship through such waters was not a good move :P

Nice to see that the Empire is eager for a war on Two fronts.Good luck with that declaration of war against the Argonians <3

You sent them on a single boat. Through pirate infested waters. Good luck declaring war on the pirates once your ship is sunk, haha
Meanwhile the south has all but been crushed and will likely attempt a surrender soon, so I don't really worry about the argonian soldiers being sent.
A war on two fronts? What would the second front be once the South of Elsweyr is gone? The altmer won't get here before the south is destroyed, so unless they plan to declare a war so soon after making a peace treaty and pretty much saying 'Yeah, you can have Elsweyr' to me, thus tarnishing their reputation further on the stage of Tamriel, it would be a war on one front if you did decide to declare war on me...
