Get as arrogant as you like, the Ghaj will just politely slap you down whenever you get too cocky :p Aa for a darker turn, the Ghaj will stick to its strict honour code; It might come out looking half moral from this then haha Sorry I haven't posted like I said, something brilliant happened so I've been distracted xD
Still sorry for not posting, I haven't had much time for the guild recently
Considering covenant ships can actually be just a few hundred meters from the ground as shown in game, they are clearly built to take gravity, at they very least they would have to be able to withstand more than 4 times the gravity of Earth (Which covenant ships would have to be able to hold due to "Ti", the homeworld of the Lekgolo) and I would personally wager they could handle more. Furthermore, as demonstrated in Halo 4. A rag tag fleet of covenant ships recieving little to now maintainance in over 4 years is pulled into a forerunner planet by a gravity well and yet many ships survive and are fully operational to the best of our knowledge. Also, such a stratergy would be impractical; The power requirement would be too immense and the generator would likely end up damaging its self (Remember that the gravity would work on the boosters, shield generators, presumably the shields, the power cells etc, attached to the device, and if it is powerful enough to crush fleets its powerful enough to implode, not to mention a mine field of these would be effecting each other...
Yeaaah because its totally something the Terrans would do, bomb innocent civilians. /sarcasm

Yes. It is. Remember WWII? Do you think that bombs only fell on military bases? In every war, the civilians can be your worst enemy. They're the ones that build all the vehicles and make all the weapons, they're the ones that will be a thorn in your back because you just conquered their home. Besides, do you honestly think the Terrans would invade a planet? That's just stupid. They would have to transport millions upon millions of soldiers across light years of space over the course of multiple years, then lose the vast majority of them while trying to land their damn ships. After that, the remaining few would be fighting against billions of enemies in constant battle without any break, only to be finally taken out by aerial bombing. The only way for the Terrans to fight an offensive war is by killing every last thing from orbit. Think about it. The Iscandarians threatened to destroy humanity entirely, and the humans know for a fact that they are capable of it (since they gave them their current warp drive). That kind of threat isn't taken lightly, and so far there hasn't been any sign of the civilians trying to stop the genocide (Even the earlier rebellion is thought to have been faked). As far as humanity is concerned, this is a war of extermination. Either the Iscandarians or humanity goes extinct, and nothing else will ever end the war. So stop trying to tell me that I'm being unrealistic in my depiction of the humans. Also, never, ever tell me that I'm out of character. You suggested that the Iscandarians commit suicide after the lost one battle, you have no right to tell ANYONE that they're being out of character. In fact, new rule: Duck can't tell anyone that they're out of character! That's going in the OP!
Holy shit, what happened while I was gone? Anyway, yeah, we know that humans have a massive propensity for evil haha >:) I'll make a post later today. I find it important to mention, as there was talk about quadrants, that I like to think the Ghaj is actually from a different quadrant of the galaxy (one that's swarming with not si peaceful alien factions xD) and is colonising this one rather than the other way around
Of course... and assuming we had no world war one well... The Queens family is still the House of Saxe Coburg Gotha xD I guess I won't be beating up germans this time.
Name of Nation: The Most Excellent Order of the British Commonwealth and Empire Territories:(When doing this section, just name the countries or regions of modern day countries you wish to take) Description of Government: Description of Military: History: Other: Name of Faction: The Agency Type:(Corporation, Rebel Group, Political Movement, etc) Assets:(Personnel, Land, other buildings, etc. Although land will be extremely limited for Factions) History: Name of Faction: The House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha Type: Royal Household Assets: Technically all British Commonwealth and Empire provinces belong to the family, and they remain dukes, monarchs and nobles in German Lands. Due to the Constitutional Monarchy Status of the United Kingdom, and their German lands belonging to a seperate soverign nation, their power in regards to land is limited, however they have considerable political influence and some power, as well as loyal supporters. History: What's this then? Well, its the Queens family... but with a few differences. With no WW1, the family did not change their name to The House of Windsor. The Salic law in Hanover was amended due to immense pressure from the United Kingdom, and thus Victoria was also the Queen of Hanover. As a result the reigning Queen Elizabeth II is also titled Queen of Hanover... which is a part of The United Provinces of Great Germany. The family also never gave up its Germanic titles, honourifics, lands etc.
I'm dead ended for video game ideas, the one I was working on isnt going anywhere. I'm absolutely useless at creativity haha

> > Well they would die in a from a gas weapon. The gas goes through any entrance it can and attempts to shut down all organs. And ok, I will try and rework the portal part of my app. Just want to see what you think of the Gas death first. > Thats fine, of course; I'm assuring that its not a completely unstoppable weapon capable of causing extinction events left right and center. Gasses while difficult to stop, can of course be stopped by protective gear and all, and you've already said that not everything in existence is killed by it I hope I don't seem to be getting at you mate, I like the nations, I just wanted to ensure we're not giving anyone the keys to universe xD
Ah! I forgot about this during the pause! I only saw the PM just this morning, actually haha. Grade A for blindness. Don't judge, I'm just running on Valve time!
