Current When going to the abyss, you must ask yourself, "am I still sane?" constantly.

*Smiles*
It is, hence my namesake. It's my favorite thing to do.

Makes sense, though i'm curious as to how it works.

*Laughs lightly*
I have plenty of friends who name attacks.

It is enjoyable.

So, i've noticed you're magic is based around paint.
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

Wow; that's impressive.

Thanks. I can actually do it without saying nul invert, but it's just a bit more fun.
* :3 *
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

*Nods*

Well, once a nul zone stores enough energy, i can invert it, making it expel the collected energy in a massive burst.
If given enough time, you could store enough energy to destroy a city.
Nul Invert!
*The energy flows inside the nul zone immediately expand, flowing directly out in blast, instead of a column.*
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

You may need something like my paints to see it, though. Maybe not.
*Stands back*

Good to know.
Now, when I was doing that spell earlier, you probably saw the column of energy.
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

It just demonstrates how it's always moved energy. You can probably control it, depending on how well you know how to modify the null zones. Since most energy is invisible, you wouldn't see the movement.

Thanks, i'll keep that in mind. Btw if you were to throw a fireball into a nul zone from the outside, it would reduced/canceled depending on it's power, just like if it had started in one.
*Walks out.*
Now the other way i can use a nul zone is a bit dangerous, so let's back away a bit.
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

I have an idea.
*Goes to some of the edges and puts dots of white paint to allow the energy the generate to be seen flowing throughout the field like a painting*
I think it's more beautiful when you can see the energy you're moving and changing.

Wow. It's incredible. Kinda gives me a better understanding of how the effect works.
*Marvels at the energy flows inside the nul zone.*
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

*Walks to you*

*The color of light turns negative.*
A nul zone is a place that drains life force energy. While standing in one most low level powers are canceled, and most stronger ones are reduced. The energy absorbed is then transferred to the controller of these zones, which would be myself at the moment, making me exempt from these effects except for the next one. You should have noticed that the color of light is turned to its negatives, like in an undeveloped photograph, once you stepped inside. It's the only way to tell where a nul zone is, otherwise, it's practically invisible.

*Tilts my head*

Come over here. I cast a low level one so it shouldn't affect you much.
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

What are Nul Zones?

i'll show you.
*Focuses for a moment and casts one. Then walks into in.*
This is a nul zone.
*Doesn't look different from normal.*
