So the swordsman guy wants to fight Blade, correct? He should be able to handle him, although not nearly as well as if he hadn't been starving for a day and a half.

But yeah, if it's done through PMs a collab post isn't actually much faster than powerplay since you're just changing the presentation and location of the posts if it's faster at all, and powerplay can give more flexibility involving other stuff going on in the meantime and breaks it into smaller, less overwhelming looking chunks. Just my two cents though.
I'm not really a fan of collab posting since the one giant post thing can get kind of unwieldy, but I guess I'd be willing to adapt if that's what everyone else wants.
I'm also interested, maybe for a Namekian or some kind of police android.
Considering he'd just recently spent all of his money placating the saloon's patrons with as many free drinks as he could afford, August's eyes practically exploded into the shape of a muro symbol at the idea of a massive bounty. The fact that the nice lady was one of the people joining in on the bounty hunt just meant he wouldn't mind splitting the money! August jumped up off his stool and walked over to Ran and John with a grin on his face and stuck his hand out for the superhero-shapeshifter to shake.

"Name's August Lim, Multiversal traveler and wandering swordsman! I'd be happy to join in some bounty hunting as long as you two don't mind splitting the bounty three ways!"

At last a way to make up for the loss of his traveling funds! Who knew, maybe this would turn into some kind of adventure and the three of them would have to save the multiverse!
Yeah, I'm not the GM, just a guy commenting on some of the more common-sense seeming problems of your sheets. For instance if Metal-Metal Fruit guy joined the Marines, you need to think of why he's gonna go be part of a pirate crew instead of wanting to hunt all of us down. I'm presuming the GM's own PC will either have had that figured out as part of the way they gained their devil fruit, or he really will be an enemy we have to fight in the future.

true, I think I'll take away the devil fruit power. him being over-the-top is true.

Well, it's good that you're aware of how over the top he is, but I'm not really sure how you're imagining anyone who's a serial mass murderer who if I'm not mistaken literally slaughtered a bunch of orphans 'for the fun of it' and definitely seems to have done that to several villages worth of people could interact with any of the other current players in any way. Unless you were trying to make one of the most one-dimensional hatesinks possible as a villain, in which case that's not what the signups are for since it's for a single crew.
Wow, I've got to admit Nails the Reaper is probably one of the most over-the-top Grimdark One Piece OCs I've ever seen and that's saying something. Also personally not sure how 'summoning chaos creatures from a bizarre hell dimension' remotely fits in with One Piece in aesthetic or function personally and not sure why you signed up with two characters when nobody else did. Bizarre all around really. Not sure if anyone else shares my sentiments.
Enter Birdy D. Blade, The Kid with a Hundred Swords!

Yes you could feel the excitement in the air, the buzzing energy of busyness and preparation that filled up even backwater towns like this one here on Frux the day before a big festival. That's what had drawn Birdy here along with so many others like he supposed flies would eventually be drawn to whatever left-over fruit hadn't been sold or eaten by the end of the island's famous festival! Well that and the fact that he was broke, starving and had nowhere to go other than here. The last fight he'd gotten in had ended with his puny raft of a so-called ship diced to pieces after he'd gotten a little too enthusiastic in fighting off the bounty hunters on his tail. But after two years of near-constantly being dogged by marines and money-chasing jerks like those he'd been understandably ticked off in his own opinion.

So after barely managing to drag himself ashore just a day ago 14-year-old Birdy D. Blade, perhaps one of the youngest swordsmen ever to earn a major bounty, was reduced to prowling the dockside of Frux like a hungry stray puppy. Matters were made even worse by the huge metal box slung over his shoulder constantly reminding him of nice hot bowls of soup as it weighed him down, though the container marked 'HI-SPEED DELIVERY' held no such thing.

"Guuuh~...gotta find, something to eat...anything..."

Unfortunately for him, it would still be a whole day before the festival began in earnest so it wasn't like there were already loads and loads of-

"FRUIT!~ AHAHAHAHA YES!~" There was a whole cartload of the stuff right in front of him, and there was suddenly so much commotion going on that there way no way anybody including the weird old pirate or the fruit lady would notice if he stole a fruit or six to munch on! Naturally, Birdy dove for the fruit cart ready to snatch some of the deliciousness for himself...but just then some jerk smashed right into the cart and sent all the fruit flying and tumbling!

"My...my precious chance at a meal...ruined..." Birdy mumbled to himself in despair, practically blue with shock. Not only did this guy wreck his first chance at food in two whole days, he had the nerve to turn into some kind of goop monster and start running off! That didn't even get into the irritating-ness of the weird old man shouting about-

"20,000?! That could buy me a whole 'nother cart of fruit all to myself! And meat! and RAMEN!~ That jerk's wearing a Marine uniform too, ooooh this is PERFECT!~" With that the short, spike-headed child joined in with the pursuit! Despite the big heavy metal box on his shoulders he dashed with surprising speed right toward the old, blue bearded guy, and as he tried to catch up with the mass of pirates chasing after Captain Mushy and he began swinging the massive 'Hi-Speed Delivery' box around by the straps to try and bludgeon them all out of the way!

"GET OUTTA MY WAY! THAT BIG MUSHY MEAL-TICKET IS ALL MINE!!"

The fact that he might either blow past or bash aside the man actually offering the money and his crew to get to the mushy marine barely even registered, so great was Birdy's hunger and childish enthusiasm.
Um, I'm fine with that I guess but I didn't mean to imply he was a Petty Officer, I called the officer 'petty and egotistical' as in the adjective meaning 'selfish and hung up on small offenses'. I think I had it written down as a Commander when it was originally written but only as a place-saver and that's probably still a bit too high for the moment (Although maybe not if Captain Pan can get his butt handed to him like that? XD)

I guess a Petty Officer and a bounty of 30,000 is perfectly fine anyways given our current power levels especially depending on which class the officer was since Tashigi was a Petty Officer Third Class when she was introduced.
I should be able to get a post up today now that the opening post has improved! I guess my character could just be hanging out at the festival for the chance to grab some food and see the sights, though the loads of marines apparently there might cause an issue but we'll see! Anyways glad this has a chance of getting going after all!

Also I have an important question for the GM and crew. Since Birdy's backstory involves the kid beating and humiliating a petty and egotistical but fairly skilled Marine officer in a duel through an equal mix of luck and skill and getting a bounty placed on him in revenge, how high do people think his bounty should be at the moment/start of the RP? I don't want to just arbitrarily declare some number so I thought it'd be better to ask the group and GM.
