I'm having the character drawn by a really nice and awesome friend because I couldn't find art that quite fit but until then here's what I have. Feel free to suggest edits or let me know what stuff doesn't work. I really like KHR a lot but I'm kind of tired at the moment so I might have gone overboard or screwed up here or there please let me know.

Username:Dblade 26

Name: Prospero Merlin

Age: 13

Gender: Male

Country of Origin: America, although he's travelled all over.

Role: Kid Magician and freelance Mafia Cleaner/Assassin, Future Vongola Mist Guardian

Flame: Mist Flame

Weapon/Fighting Style: Magic-tricks and illusions. Specifically he uses weaponized versions of magic tricks and props to fight and bolsters them with his legitimate ability to create illusions. For a few examples, using throwing knives that look like playing cards and creating shadow duplicates as he throws them, shooting illusory lightning-bolts from his cane to hide that it's actually a disguised taser, conjuring snakes from his sleeves to bind someone with when they're actually just silk handkerchiefs knotted together and mixing these with ordinary illusions to trick opponents. In the future he relies a lot more on the Construction properties of Mist flames to make 'Real Illusions' although keeping the stage magician theme

Appearance: Will put them up once they're drawn, but Prospero has blond hair and blue eyes, typically wears a red suit and cape with a magician's top hat and always wears a white mask over the top half of his face or otherwise covers it. His adult self has longer hair and wears an even more elaborate mask and suit, still red. He also usually has a cane that conceals a taser.

Personality: Prospero is almost entirely driven and interested by his dream of becoming the world's greatest magician and illusionist, to the point where he's willing to do nearly anything to improve his 'act'. His main interest in people outside of potential fans of his is as something to test his tricks and sharpen his abilities, with even the underworld of the Mafia being one more stage for him to perform on. However, having dedicated his life to his goal, he's not very experienced at dealing with others or living as a normal kid, especially not now that a life of being relatively famous or at least successful has separated him from the chance for an ordinary life. As a result he's become increasingly curious lately as to how 'Commoners' live and wants to see if there's some trick behind their lives that he hasn't figured out yet, and despite never wanting to admit it, he's lonely. If he ever does get the chance to interact in a 'normal' way with people he'll try his best to act like a non-arrogant cheerful child, but probably fail. He also never removes his mask, or else wears a substitute.

At 23 years old while Prospero's goals remain the same his views have become considerably more broad, and he has a slightly easier time acting like an 'ordinary' person. He works with the Vongola family out of a desire to perform high risk tricks that will leave even the Mafia stunned and also in order to have an excuse to eliminate rival illusionists within the various Families. He's also opened up more to having friends and is slightly less arrogant although he would never admit to the change, just insisting that 'Performances are more thrilling when there are people around to watch'.

History: Prospero's entire life has been dedicated to becoming the world's greatest magician and after he discovered his psychic abilities, the world's greatest illusionist. This was in part due to his father who was himself a fairly skilled magician, but wanted more for his son and was willing to go to any lengths to ensure his success. Prospero was entirely home-schooled and his father relentlessly drilled being a magician into his skull every day, only allowing him to interact with others for the purposes of cultivating stage personas. By the age of ten he was already performing professionally and being hailed as a prodigy of stage magic, traveling around for jobs with his father as his manager.

By the time he reached twelve he grew resentful of his father's constant harsh training and coldness despite his successes and sharing in his father's dream, so he filed for emancipation. eventually he won out and gained the right to live on his own despite his young age, his magic shows providing him with enough money to sustain him independent of a guardian. Lately though he's become increasingly bored and lonely despite his success and found the opportunities that might come from working with the Vongola too good to pass up.

Overview: Prospero Merlin is a child prodigy stage magician and illusionist. He insists he only cares about becoming the best magician and illusionist ever but he secretly wants a normal life with friends and family.
So, I understand everything else, but what does Overview mean? Also I'm not sure whether 'become the world's greatest illusionist and magician' is an appropriately Mist Guardian-like goal.

I'm Dblade by the way, nice to meet people.
Name: Kenichi Hissatsu

Age: 16

Appearance:

Abilities: Kenichi is an incredibly talented martial artist since his family has forced him to train in their traditional martial arts style since he could walk. Other than martial arts he has very little talent in non-physical things, not because he's dumb but because he's usually too focused on martial arts things to do well in other categories or walks of life. If he applied himself he could potentially be quite smart and do well at school, but he's too obsessed with his own passions to even think of the possibility most of the time He is however an exceptional cook and enjoys cooking almost as much as he likes martial arts, as that too is a legacy of his family.

Rider Powers: As Kamen Rider Tekken, Kenichi has the ability to change forms depending on which Key-rate he inserts into his belt. The forms each have different abilities, strengths, weaknesses, and special movies called Hisatsu Techniques. Each is based around a different martial art. So far he has four forms from the three different Key-rate, plus his default form. They are:

White Belt-The Default Form assumed by Kamen Rider Tekken, it gives him armor in the form of a stylized karate gi and a belt with a buckle shaped like a padlock. In this form his strength, durability, speed, and physical abilities in general are boosted to superhuman proportions, enough to fight monsters as Kamen Rider Tekken. The default Kamen Rider Tekken form doesn't give him any other real special abilities. His Hissatsu Techniques for this form are the Tekken PUNCH! and Tekken KICK!

Red Belt-Float Like a Butterfly, Sting Like a Bee! The Red Belt form is much more powerful than Kamen Rider Tekken's default form. The costume switches to a much more red-oriented colorscheme and the Gi is replaced with a much more muscle-y looking armor and boxing gloves on his fists. In this form his attacks gain a fiery element and become much stronger. The fighting style Kenichi uses becomes much more like boxing, and he loses the ability to kick although his footwork improves and he becomes better at evasion and attacking. His Hissatsu Technique in this form is his Blazing Combo, where he punches Fireballs at his opponent before jumping or charging in for a comet-like haymaker.

Yellow Belt-Fast As the Wind! Kamen Rider Tekken's fastest form, it has a bright yellow colorscheme and the Gi is replaced with a streamlined and aerodynamic looking armor. In this form Kenichi becomes incredibly fast and acrobatic, able to keep up with even the fastest of opponents and overwhelm slower ones with his blinding speed. His attacks also gain a wind element, however he becomes much more fragile and must rely on evasion since he can't take a hit. His Hissatsu Technique in this form is his Hurricane Kick that strikes enemies multiple times and blows them away. It is based mostly on Parkour.

Blue Belt [i]Be Like Water![i]Kamen Rider Tekken's most defense oriented form, it causes his Gi to take on a blue colorscheme and become much looser and more flowing. This form allows Kenichi to defend against opponents more powerful than him and turn their strength against them. The flowing sleeves gain a water-y element as he moves that re-directs power and crashes it back into enemies or forms aquatic shields against attacks as he blocks. His Hissatsu Technique here is his Tsunami Throw, where he grabs an enemy and throws them in an ark as waves of water from his sleeves slam the opponent. This form is based on several soft-power and defensive martial arts.

Rider Machine: Fist-Cycle! Essentially a giant metal fist on wheels with a motorbike chair and rockets strapped to the back. Its' fingers fold out into different weapons arrays, mostly missiles although the middle one is an incredibly high powered cannon that shoots the fingertip as a shell.

Personality: Kenichi tries hard to do his best at becoming a true successor for the Hissatsu school of martial arts. He likes nothing better than testing out his skills against worthy opponents and although he doesn't enjoy violence for the sake of violence he won't ever back down from a challenge. He wants to make friends and live a fun and enjoyable life when he's not busy worrying over whether he's a true successor to his family's style, but due to the fact that he's a 'martial arts obsessed weirdo' in the extreme even towards kids who are in school martial arts clubs, this has proven difficult. He fights monsters and bad guys not necessarily for justice, but to test out how strong he can become, although he does think using that strength to protect people is important.

Backstory: Kenichi was raised by his grandfather to become the successor to his family's martial arts school for as long as he could remember, never knowing his parents or family history. Other than constantly training with his grandfather and occasional fights with students who made fun of him for being a 'complete martial arts freak' his life was mainly uneventful if lonely due to mainly being isolated from kids his age in order to train harder. Recently though, Kenichi's grandfather disappeared, leaving behind only the Tekken Belt and three Key-rate keys. Now Kenichi's been finding himself the target of attack by various monsters who want to seize the keys' from him, all the while searching for his grandfather and answers to why his life has suddenly become so much crazier.
I...am not entirely sure what his independant goals will be...Although he may also be good at hypnotism.
Magician top hat, of course! He shall be a stage magician who uses trickery and stage magic to fight!

Also yes I know, that's why I figured it'd fit.
OF COURSE he'll have a hat. how could he not!?

Also don't worry, it probably just means I'll make him wear a mask and be not-exactly-villainous but not exactly heroic.
...so tempted to make a kid magician who's also a Char Aznable expy...
Right so...need to make a character, and then how to introduce them...
um....whoa, I'm sorry, but I'm a little too intimidated by 56 pages of OOC discussion and 109 posts of IC stuff...not sure I can do this...

The Casablanca type detective? I think that would work well, maybe openly narrating things that happen around him just for fun.

If there's another sorta detective out there worth playin' that isn't directed by John Woo, I don't know about it.

But yeah, classic Humphrey Bogart Rick-in-Casablanca-Sam-Spade-in-Everything-Else type detective. Maybe a trenchcoat with glowy lines and constant monologue except when it would be annoying.
