Wooh. Good to hear we have people wanting to play. I might be able to work on the actual pages later tonight but I have to work soon, so we will see.
Pyrrhic city. A grey and neon bustle of tall buildings, fast cars, smoke and busy souls. Money flows in and out of it's streets like blood through veins. Business is booming, as long as your business goes through the Modacci's. A sophisticated and ruthless gang, they have their fingers in anything worth a few cents, with them you soar, without, you sink.
Set on a world somewhat like our own, this story would take place in a city built around being strong, in a society built the same. People who can overpower others, take what they want, and really, when everyone has some sort of innate magic or superpower, everyone is fair game.
I want this to be a busy, somewhat chaotic place. In one corner of the plot, we can see a rugged cop trying to change the city that is so far gone, being stopped at every corner with some criminal mastermind. While a few blocks downtown, a band of unlikely allies are doing battle with some eldritch demon that recently escaped it's ancient prison.
Take an old mafia novel, set it in Gotham, and sprinkle magic onto it, and here we are.

I feel as though when you want sass to travel across the internet, it doesn't come. When you don't want sass. Ho boy it flies through your words.
Either way I really do find it a shame that I can't use Spanish fairy tales. I find em really interesting.

Name: Alex. (No surname)
Race: Unlisted. A bi-product of the phasing. A dimensional hole incarnated.
Appearance: Alex looks like a roughly 14 year old boy. He has pitch black hair to nearly his chin, and crystal blue eyes. His skin is sickly pale and he has a lanky build. Bags seem to be ever-present under his eyes, and he generally has a disheveled air about him. His nose is small, his eyes are large and his lips are fine, all in all making him seem a bit delicate. His clothes are simple and lack much style, he doesn't seem to much care what he wears. Usually settling for jeans, a plain white shirt and a deep blue wind breaker. His favorite article of clothing is his red sneakers. They have gotten a but ratty in recent times.
Age: Hard to say. He was created by the phasing though he has the body of a pre-teen. Having no records of birth, or even existing really, it is impossible to say when he was actually born.
Gender: Male.
Bio: Found wandering naked on the outskirts of town. After questioning and testing he was found to be linked to the phasing. Taken in by the government he was continued to be tested, and eventually entrusted with the squad to be watched on, and applied usefully.
Skills/Powers: Opening small portals for short amount of times. For an offensive use he will usually open a tear to another world, allowing for a beastly appendage or mass of energy to fly through it, and strike an enemy. Being hard to control, Alex cannot keep the portal open for long, and soon after being opened, it and whatever came from it, fades away.
Other Things of Interest: Enjoys swimming. Allergic to cats.
