The white form of a mechanical body hovered in air, haunched over slightly, seemingly staring into it's palms. A blue spark of energy ran in each hand, staring up like two neon eyes back into the lifeless red ones of the weapon. Behind those eyes, running through the beast and into it's heart, sat a young boy. Curled in his seat, with hands clasping against each temple. His white hair poking between his fingers, like idea that couldn't quite be held back. Tears rolling down one side of his face, the boy sucked in air, to try and calm himself, but all it did was feed the fire in his belly.
Eventually, a sturdy arm wrapped itself around the body having a staring contest with itself. This arm attached to a much bulkier metal doll, which hefted a massive shield in it's free hand. It's large features made it hard to stay too close to the other body, but still it held on, slowly moving them both forward with it's meager propulsion. The comforting hand which extended the metal one, was connected to a young girl. She sat with her teeth grit, some tears stinging her eyes. She found the strength to say only two words. "Come on."
A much more slender machine flew behind these two. A large weapon now situated against it's back instead of in it's hands. The cylindrical head staring down into the wreck below. It was silent, much like the young girl controlling it. Inside the frame a young girl had her head fallen also, her hair blocking any view from her eyes, but every so often a sob could be heard. She stayed as silent as could, as she knew people below,who would not want to hear anything else from her right now. At least not anything she could manage at the time.
Inside the ship, the three frames situated themselves. The first to exit was Rebecca, the pilot of the heaviest frame. She was now biting her lower lip and had red marks from aggressively drying the tears away by force. She marched with meaning, to the white frame she had escorted. Soon she had helped her smaller ally out of it, and towards the slender beast that had followed them. After another process of removing a small body from a much larger one, the three moved towards the other person in relative space, who was not confined within their act of self defense. "She going to be okay?" The tall girl asked behind the boy banging on the frames hatch.
Appearance: Leo is a meek looking boy, his appearances nearly seemingly "sickly". With a small frame, a pale composition, and grayish white hair, he gives of an aura of fragility. His face is heart shaped, with large round eyes of a light hazel color. A small nose is present on him with a pale scar running across it's bridge and up towards the left eye, creating an "L" shape. His hair falls down to around his earlobes in a shag. He keeps his bangs out of his face with two plain hair pins. His lips are full, taking away slightly from his almost "mousy" appearance. He tends to wear clothes that are loose and of simple colors. He stands at around roughly 4 feet tall.
Personality: Leo is a quiet and soft spoken boy who has a heart of steel. While he tries his best to be very kind, and reprimands himself for not meeting his standards, he is still not one to let himself be walked over. If he is being looked down on he will avoid conflict out of his pacifist nature, yet will remove that problem from his life by simply ignoring it. While he is not one to pick a fight, he will drop his softness for a quiet rage when truly hurt or more likely, when something he cares for is. An earnest person he tries never to lie, and often has a few problems picking up on some social cues. Leo lives mostly inside his own head, and can have a hard time expressing all of his inner thoughts, and in that sense has a hard shell to crack, although when he really connects with others, he becomes an open book, and hopes to grow closer with them by bearing what he really is. He is an accepting soul, and passes hardly any judgement.
Age: 12
History: Leo is one who was born and raised for his role. His uncle is one technician who worked on the Stella Arcana project, which is how he was brought into it. While not technically engineered nor bred for the project he was augmented at a young age, and has lived his whole life devoted to it. While he does has doubts about his fate at times, mostly he is happy being someone who can help so many people, and he tries his best to be the best he can for the project (although this brings his own standards and insecurities.) Leo has always been one to follow rules and has hardly ever had trouble, though a large part of this is due to when he was very young. Straying from a transferral he found himself in a scrap room, where he received the large scar on his face. This lead to his second prosthetic, a false eye. It was unfortunately lost to an infection, as he was not found for some time.
Role: Healer - Bard
Cybernetic Enhancements: False hands, as well a false left eye. These are made to aid in control, quickness and stability.
Psychic Ability: Acute awareness and ability to move with great purpose and in minute ways. These are mainly to help him pilot his Arcana Frame with expertise, although they also function very well for a field surgeon, as it allows quick and effective medical treatment and diagnoses of threats. Although Leo's main ability is a "spacial storage". He can store a wide range of small items in a pocket space until he wishes for them.
Arcana Frame Name: Eir
Arcana Frame Appearance: The Eir Arcana Frame is vastly humanoid in shape. Being primarily white with some hints of reddish pinks, it takes after colors of a classic earth hospital. The head is box like in shape, with two eyes, and very little else in the way of facial features. A chest which convexes outwards is kept simple and adorned with a red cross over it's left side. Two oblong boxes make for bulky shoulders, which lead down two arms also comprised of box like shapes. Hands with a pulsing blue palm are left to be thin and nimble in comparison to the frames bulkier aspects. At the wast the frame appears to be wearing a skirt or tail-coat like extension around it's whole. Though under this two legs made in a similar fashion to the arms are set. From the frames back six spear head shaped protrusions present themselves.
Arcana Frame Weapons and Abilities:
- Psychic dissonance reactor: Main mode of offensive action, a harp like weapon kept at the hip which can fire multiple mid ranged projectiles, as well as other various attacks.
- Repair field nodes: Funnel shaped markers that create a perimeter of which can repair and stabilize Arcana Frames.
- Area denial shock installs: Close range electric shock generated from frame palms. Can either create a protective field or centred on frame hands to do more damage. Can be used to relay energy to dead energy cells on ships or Arcana Frames.
- EC saps: Mid range tendrils that extend from the frames back and leech enemies energy, which is used to power the area denial shock installs, as well as all other functions. It can be used on multiple enemies at once, though loses effectiveness on the more enemies it's applied to.
- Localized Repair Nodes: Two armoured repair nodes which stay within an extremely limited distance from their power source. Their regenerative capabilities heavily outweigh their long ranged partners, and are used on a single frame at a time. They can also generate barriers automatically to preserve themselves.
Name: Rebecca "Lancelot" Wolf
Appearance: Rebecca is a well built and athletic girl. She has long appendages that add to her already tall look. Her face is angular with sharp green eyes of a dull tone. She has long lashes and a beauty mark above her lip in the right side of her face. Her nose is hooked slightly and long, which lead down to her thin lips. Her hair is long and a deep brown, kept usually in a ponytail with bangs. She prefers to wear casual and comfortable clothes that are good for moving around in. She almost always wears "biker" gloves on her hands. She has a "strawberry" birth mark vaguely in the shape of a heart on her back, she is quite embarrassed by it. It's not uncommon for her to have bags under hey eyes or for her to have bandages over her body and face. The frame is painted almost wholly a forest green color
Personality: Rebecca is a girl with a strong sense of justice. That is her own brand of it. She is the kind to help those who help themselves, and doesn't like picking up someone who doesn't bother to at least try themselves. She is relatively sociable and can usually get along with most people, but she will let you know if she doesn't want to deal with you, although probably not directly. Rebecca has a strong sense of pride, and will fight to protect what she holds dear, which goes far past the usual. She has gotten injured defending her or her friends feelings, even when they seem rather unimportant. Rebecca could be considered simple but that is not entirely true. A slightly warped and or personalized sense of what is right and self worth leaves Rebecca to take some risks she either shouldn't or doesn't really have the right to. While she isn't actually the strongest leader, she will get the feeling she is, and consider her "underlings" at her disposal.
Age: 16
History: Rebecca entered the Stella Arcana Project at around age 6, as she was orphaned around that time due to an unfortunate vehicular accident. Rebecca at first refused to comply to the people in the facilities, (of course they have ways of making her useful still.) Eventually she came around to the idea of being a hero, and dived wholeheartedly into the role. She takes her training very seriously and has changed from someone who used to avoid complying, to someone who goes out of her way to work more. Originally the nerves in her right leg were damaged from the accident that left her parent-less, although her legs were changed for false ones not long after wards.
Role: Knight - Paladin
Cybernetic Enhancements: Legs from the thigh down. These aid balance while on foot, which is important for controlling the flow of a close range battle, as well as aiding Rebecca's ability to move from goal to goal.
Psychic Ability: Complete control of balance as well as construct of varying barrier types. These can be used to defensive and offensive means, with an excessive amount of versatility.
Arcana Frame Name: Syn
Arcana Frame Appearance: A heavy built frame, it is mostly humanoid in form. A head vaguely shaped like a diamond with a protruding horn sits on a thick and heavy chest. A large pack is strapped to the frames back, with thrusters jutting from it's bottom and topside. Heavy rectangular shoulders are faced with long armored plates that stretch down to the arms elbow joints. The arms themselves are cylindrical in shape, and are ended with hands left relatively unhindered for proper handling of weapons and tools. The forearms of the frame are usually equipped with two massive halves of one shield, which has many lids and compartment doors across it's whole body. The shield too has thrusters facing from all it's faces. A belt of armored plates rounds the frames waist which lead down to two cylindrical legs that are again lined with thrusters on the bottom of their feet, and along their back ends.
Arcana Frame Weapons and Abilities:
- Advanced energy barrier generators: A core installed deep within the frame which can craft many different barriers to adjust to different situations. Psychic energy can be used to strengthen these energy barriers.
- Class - AB moving armoury shield: A massive shield that can cover a large portion of the frame body, the is shaped in a rectangular fashion. Has many different handles, it's own thrusters for space travel as well as storage compartments for various other weapons, either for the frame wielding it or to be distributed to allies.
- Mark III heavy unit thrusters: A large instalment on the frames back and feet to create short bursts of speedy movement. Used in tandem with a sturdy body and shielding, the user can become their own short range projectile.
- Repulse generator: A simple instalment in the frames arms which release a wave of energy, made less for direct damage and more for moving enemies or items away from the user. Excellent for holding off large groups of weaker enemies or slowing down strong larger ones.
- Mid range high tensile cables: Sturdy grappling cables shot from the frames forearms to pull and or attach to enemy or ally frames/monsters.
Name: "Miss" Alice Verdent
Appearance: Alice is a girl who be described as "doll-like." She is pale and lithe in build, with blond hair in a bob that comes down to around her chin, with bangs. She has large blue eyes that seem almost crystalline. Her face is face shaped with a flat nose, freckles, and when she smiles, dimples. Her shoulders are also dusted with freckles, as well as some parts of her fore arms and legs. Her nails are kept pristine and colorful when possible, but they stay short for convenience. She wears clothes of an elegant style, but always has the mind to keep them functional as well. Often a simple and pretty shirt with a matching skirt is in line. She wears anklets as well as a crown like fixture around her head, they are just like the rest of her simple, and yet pleasant to look at. She refuses to take them off at most times.
Personality: Alice is one who strives for the best, while she says otherwise she enjoys good competition, and is an abysmal loser. Of course this brings about her strong refusal to quit, which in her line of work is an asset. She is a thinker, and while she does tend to rely on brute force, she knows that every question has more then one answer. While she is a fairly level headed person at times she has flashes of different mental states. One such state is the overexcited competitor, who feels and acts invincible. Another is the cool thinker, who will shut out anything she doesn't deem important at the time and act with great purpose and care on her task. Alice has a sense of whimsy and love for things that are cute equally things that are deadly. She loves to collect different things, her biggest hordes being plush animals, and the other knives. Surprisingly, she has found some items that fall under both.

History: Alice was one who was born and raised solely for the Stella Arcana project. While she isn't exactly a diligent student she does take her purpose very seriously, and could be considered a sot of prodigy (as she was made to be). She has broken minimal rules and was allowed some leniency due to this. She is dependable and has always lived on the compound growing and learning for her time to fight.
Role: Archer - Summoner
Cybernetic Enhancements: Cybernetic eyes - These are used to aid in spotting enemies, as well as processing projectile and tactile possibilities.
Psychic Ability: Ability to see things as if they are sitting still for a few seconds. Able to create small reflective "shields" at surprisingly long ranges. They cover little area, and can cover even less so the farther away they are created.
Arcana Frame Name: Ull
Arcana Frame Appearance: Another humanoid frame, it is tall and slender in build. A sleek design it has very little bulk to it, and has a very lithe look to it. A head shaped like a cylinder sit's atop a smooth chassis that supports a thinner waist which even out to two long legs with feet that have two toes on it's forwards side and one on it's back. Triangular shoulders lead down to two arms of a cylindrical fashion, and delicate hands that seem to have sharp digits. Seemingly disproportionate to the thin body, a large heavy rifle of a blocky and thick design is strapped to the frame's back at most times. It is as long as the frame is tall. The rifle is ebony and the frame is wine red with yellow stripes around the forearms, waist and thighs.
Arcana Frame Weapons and Abilities:
- Mark VII Extremely long range ion rifle: Easily the frames most used weaponry, it is a rifle with heavy fire-power and control, it is used to eliminate enemies with high defensive capabilities and enemies at extreme distances. It has the capability to fir various forms of projectile, though primarily uses energy rounds of a highly destructive nature.
- Longinus knife: A sturdy and fairly hefty blade that is placed at the frames hip for last minute defence against enemies that break the perimeter. It is formed of an alloy blade sharpened by high pressurised water, meaning it can cut through most metals.
- Extended frame "White Rabbit": A smaller frame that detaches from the main one for more offensive capabilities. It is a small and fast moving frame that has two fin like protrusions which can detect enemies and attack them within a select distance away from the master unit. It uses energy blades and quickness to defend the sniper unit from enemies.
- Extended frame "Mad Hatter": Another smaller frame witch may detach from the master unit. This one can work within a more limited range from the Arcana Frame, though has more fire-power. It is essentially a turret which orbits the mast frame in an erratic manner to cover blind spots. Like the sniper it may switch rounds, though with a more limited supply and variety/effectiveness.
-Extended frame "Jabberwoky": A third extended frame created when "White Rabbit" and "Mad hatter" unit. It is a mid ranged frame that has both attack options from it's components, as well as the ability to form the shape of a bow, which is a versatile weapon for the master frame.
-"Vorpal Blade": A weapon created when "Jabberwoky" unites again with the Mark VII ion rifle. It is an extremely powerful long range cannon, though it is limited in use, and takes up a massive amount of energy, while also leaving the user open to attacks. Risky, though deadly.
I've been away from RPing for a while now due to college and other life things, but I miss it quite a bit and was wondering if I could find a partner to start something not terribly dedicated.
I am not adverse to romance, though I am mostly interested in action oriented role plays.
Gender doesn't matter and I would like to keep our posts at a high-casual level.
I enjoy to custom create a premise with a partner between the two of us, though I can go with one of yours or we can try one of mine.
Personality: Belinda is a caring and quiet person. She prefers to avoid conflict and does everything with a peaceful and calming pace. While she can be described as motherly she has her moments of snarky sarcasm as well as blurring of moral lines. She isnt selfish to any degree but she doesnt let herself get walked over, if she deserves a cut of the pie, she is getting it. Fearlesness that presents itself as soft apathy, she is a subdued firebrand.
Interests: She has taken to sewing and is decently talented at playing her fathers old flute. She is interested in botany and enjoys all studies of nature.
Appearance: Belinda stands at 5"2, with a slightly plump body and a heart shaped face. She has amber brown hair that falls to her chin. Her eyes are a pleasent brown like a hearth, though usually they are closed. She has a button nose and thin lips, with a beauty mark below her left eye. Often she wears rather simple clothing, though she likes to keep warm, and loves cool subtle colors.
Equipment: A large travel backpack, with a bedroll, small kitchen set, flint and tin, a few books and some currency.
Weapon(s): Belinda carries a large kitchen knife with her, though prefers not to use it.
Unique Abilities: Belinda is unnaturally skilled in her own brand of shield and warding magic. She is able to create many self designed magical constructs centered around protection. She also has a magic circle tattooed on her hands, which when activated through spoken spell, raise her physical strength to amazing levels.
Skills/talents: Belinda is a wonderful cook, as well as a decent hunter, and fisher. While she is on the larger side she can run for a surprising amount of time on end. Despite her usually meek self she is fairly good at intimidation, if push comes to shove.
General Appearance: Charlie stands at 5'6 with a thin build and paling skin. His eyes are a soft brown to match his hair of a similar color. His jawline is defined and his face angular. Bags under his eyes and a slightly hooked nose, he has a sort of sharp look to him. Slightly overgrown nails and hair down to his neck leave him looking a bit ragged, though he keeps himself well groomed. Often wearing lazy clothing in the ways of jeans and big sweaters, he seems the type to always be tired yet never sleep. His shoes are the most colorful thing on his person, being bright red converse.
Orb Color: Greyish green
Class: SPIRIT ARCHER: A class centered on extra long to long ranged fighting. It centers on creating arrows of different applications and firing them with astounding power generated from the soul rather than the body. Agile while moving, though must be stationary to fire. A class that needs to control their pace in battle. They use no physical equipment and have a large mana pool by necessity.
Class Appearance: A figure clad all in black they wear slightly baggy clothes designed to be light and stay out of the way while also not clinging to the skin. Armor is made of leather at the best times, mainly in the chest area and the appendages. Black chains wrap around the shoulders and around the waist, with small skull ornaments dressing it. A ragged black cloak is draped over the wearers shoulders and easily unclips at the neck.
Skills: The innate ability to summon their spiritual great-bow, and the ability to craft basic explosive mana arrows. Being a large and extra long ranged weapon, it is slow, takes stillness to fire, and packs a punch.
Cross Skills: Skills activated with a partner or partners, either passive bonuses or activated abilities. Locked until discovered.
Passive: "Personal artillery" The user is able to double their fire rate for an extended period of time, and half their shots are mana-free. [LOCKED]
Limit Break: "Banshee rain" The skulls adorning the wearer cease to be useless and come to life. The user is rooted in place with a mana shield surrounding them, while the skulls let loose a torrential downpour of mid-ranged explosive and slowing arrows. The power and time this ability lasts is dependent on the users mana pool. [LOCKED]

General Appearance: Sofie is a short and slightly heavyset girl with hair dyes blue and freckles. Her eyes are large, almond shaped and cool blue. Her skin is a tad bit sun brushed. She stands at 5'2 at most. Her freckles also speckle her shoulders and legs. She is often seen wearing a hat over her pixie cut, as well as comfy yet stylish clothing. She likes floral patterns. Their is a tattoo of a curled up robin on her left shoulder. She is missing the top half of her left pinkie finger.
Orb Color: Cotton candy blue
Class: MUSE: A class that deals in both supporting it's allies and debilitating their enemies. Using sound based attacks and spells, they can shift the flow of battle quite well. Not entirely useful on their lonesome, they are a cog in the machine. Sometimes the one that makes it move. Another class with a large mana pool out of need.
Class Appearance: Wearing a flowing and simplistic white dress, those of this class seem to literally radiate. Sometimes seen with a laurel of gold on their heads, they are made to seem very angelic and very "good" Long silken white gloves stretch from the users fingers to above their elbows. Golden anklets sit above the simple white slippers on the wearers feet.
Skills: Enrich: The user sings a melody, which raises the attack speed and power of their allies within their aoe. It can also heal allies, if they stay still and do nothing. It's healing does effect the user.
Cross Skills: Duet: This ability changes no matter who it is used with. A song is crafted in an instant and sung to the partner, which can have a large range of powerful effects, whether they are extremely empowering or surprisingly destructive. [LOCKED]
Limit Break: Siren: A mournful ballad is sung, drawing all enemies near then stunning them, after the song ends and the stun wears off, all enemies who were effected receive the poison, slow, cursed, blinded, and confused debuffs. While also being pushed back. [LOCKED]
