God it was good to be getting back. Later classes were always a pain, not to mention when you have an exam due. Adam hurried down the hall to reach the apartment, he just wanted to sit down and relax. While he was a pretty sociable person, all that talking, and being around busy people, and working caught up with him. His usual drive was starting to wane, as it did this late into the school year. He just wanted to be alone. Alone with the right company.

He made it to the door, and reached for his keys. Stopping himself to take of his shades. She always poked fun him for wearing them inside, so it had become habit to take them off. Seconds before she could see. After slipping the eye-wear away he fished out his key card and entered the place. Around the bend of the entryway he could see a dim blue glow. He smiled a little to himself and took off his shoes, nudging them over beside the others with his feet. He took of his coat and folded it over his arm as he made his way into the living room. He lavished his walk there. Not to stall of course, but just to drink in the feeling of being home. Knowing exactly where everything was, being used to the smells, the colors of the walls, the familiar scuffs and bumps. Then the sight of her.

Coming into the living room he threw his coat onto the armchair, before looking to the TV screen while swiping his hands through his hair.
"How far are you now?" He liked to slide into a conversation. No hello or goodbyes. You would think that being used to so many people coming going would make you act the opposite, but in his mind Adam was in a constant conversation with everyone he knew. He was just picking up where they left off. He made his way around the coffee table and landed close beside Kathrine. He let himself slump into her with a nearly inaudible hum. "How was your day?" He asked aloud, having a decent idea that it wasn't the best, considering the look on her face.

Feeling the breath on her ear she tensed a little. Those were sensitive. Cassandra couldn't help but smile as he whispered in her ear. "Well...It's not so bad." She breathed contently. She had been reluctant to go out. She knew she wasn't the best dancer, but she also felt bad for cooping Markus up like that, plus it was good to get out every so often. She just hoped she wasn't too awkward on her feet.

The music filled the air around them, and she did her best to let it move her, though honestly, Markus was doing a better job of that. Earlier on she was pretty tense, well, more so then she was now. All the people around her were so much more used to this then she was, she felt a little out of place. It was worth it though, with how things were going. She had her hands around him and it felt pretty great to be so close with so many people around. It made her feel like she could show off they were together.

She lifted her head to get a better look at his face, flipping some hair away from her eyes. He was smiling. She noticed she was too. "Having fun?" She mirrored, looking into his eyes. She saw that look in them. That look she usually saw when they got close. She felt like she was doing something right when she did. Like she had something he wanted. Almost like it flowed through her veins.
Name: Cassandra Lee Heirophant

Gender: Female

Age: 25

Bio: Cassandra has led a simple life, relatively speaking. She grew up with he two brothers with a mother and a father, until nearly 5 years back when they split. She grew up in the city playing make-believe with the slightly older kids on her crescent, and went to school. Perfect attendance. She was never very excited to go to school but really, she didn't know what else to do all day everyday, so she kept going. She showed talent early on in English and the sciences. As she grew older, she found her friends growing out of the make believe game, whereas she did not. Her love for things not real combined with her general "go with the flow" level-headedness led to her writing stories in her spare time. As she grew up her stories did too, gaining more depth and form. She read and read in her spare time, learning the craft. This led to her becoming a literature major much later on in life. While she is unsure if she want's to chase her creative dreams or take a more journalistic approach with her passion, she is stalwart on becoming some sort of writer.

Appearance: Carol has an olive complexion, with hair a lovely coal black. It cascades in waves down past her shoulders. She has a heart shaped face with full cheeks and almond shaped eyes, with brown irises. A spray of freckles goes across the bridge of her nose, above her full lips. She stands at roughly 5'2 and has a shapely body. The freckles paint different parts of her body, including her shoulders, her lower back and the backs of her hands. She has a small birthmark below her left ear, shaped almost like Greece. She has her ears pierced, and often wears simple stud earings in them. As a true third year university student, her clothing choices as of late tend to be more comfortable then fashionable. This being said she will take the time not to uncommonly to dress up a bit. When she does this she tends to choose more subdued colors and still carry a simple taste. Sweaters/jackets are her favorite, and she is hardly ever caught wearing one. She wears thin framed glasses, that are circular in lens shape.

Name: Adam Jack Wolfe

Gender: Male

Age: 23

Bio: Adam grew up not far from a lake with his rather large family. Being a younger of 5 children has humbled him to a point. While he is used to compromise, he has also gained some jaded sense of want. Now that he is his own person, he is somewhat staunch when it comes to getting things he wants. He is also a rather lonely person. Being raised with a plethora of people coming and going through his house, he is used to movement and action in his life, and when he feels things are slowing down, he tends to get a little needy. He is a kindly person who doesn't mind helping out, but has become somewhat exasperated, and also enjoys to just sit and let things play out as they will. His father died when he was young due to an accident. This has lead to him having a great respect for his mother, and an even higher value for family. He feels somewhat robbed of a good male figure in his life, and has unknowingly been looking for one since. He was able to go to uni because his older siblings chose to work or help at home. He is currently undecided in what he wants to do in life.

Appearance: Adam has a fair complexion, with an angular face. His wide nose and strong jaw line give him a very masculine look. He has black hair that if pulled down can reach around his earlobes. He has a small scar over the right corner of his lip. His eyes are a soft blue color, underlined by tired shadows. He has broad shoulders and white teeth. His upper body is somewhat gaunt, though his legs are rather thin and lanky looking in comparison. He wears simple clothing, usually jeans, a T-shirt, a jacket and some shades. He has a tattoo of a bluebird on his right hand.

Hello, if you are still looking for people, I would love to brainstorm with you at least. We actually share a lot of pet peeves so I think it would be great if we could play together. That is, if you don't mind someone who is pretty rusty at this whole thing.
Hello, is there any room for a rusty novice? I have been gone for some time but I love a premise like this, and would love to get back to RPing in general. I'll try my best to reach standards.

EDIT: I just wrote an entire application and lost it all because of a stupid mistake. HahahahahHAHAHAHH. Good to be back.
Interested!
Rebecca waited a second before answering. "No, I sent him upstairs with the others...just us two here." Some part of her wanted to ask the obvious "are you okay?" question, but decided against it, as she knew the answer. "Do you wanna come out of there?" Rebecca didn't really want to think of her frame at the moment, so she could only imagine the others might feel the same.

"Hey now."

Alice let two cold words fly at the bickering pair. She was turned now to face them, and ignoring Leo, regarded them coldly. "No matter what we do it won't help to be at each others necks." She tried not to let malice spill into her words, though she was gripping her hands so tightly she might make herself bleed. The storm in her head didn't want to deal with "people" right now, it just wanted monsters.

"Let's not hurt each other or that" she spat the last word out and only vaguely regarded Stella with a gesture of the head. "I wanna give them back what they gave us. It's only fair. They took everything, we deserve to take something back." She bore down on Marco, trying to sound all in reason and not overly emotional, but she couldn't help and let some coldness through.

Leo had become Marco's shadow at this point, nearly hiding behind him. An angry mob of wasps danced inside him and confused him into not knowing what to be scared of, and what not to be sacred of. As far as he saw it, Rana was fairly terrifying.
Watching the others take off, Rebecca let herself fall to the floor. Letting a few shaky breaths leave her she attempted to compose herself. This was hard. Pretending to be okay was hard. After what felt like both too long and too short a time, the girl brought herself to a stand again. She dusted herself off and looked at the metal soldier containing the small prodigy within. She hovered over the hatch and lifted her clenched fist, pausing for a second, to search for better words. With a soft knock she hit the door three times. "ShiZhen?" She said loud enough to be heard, but soft enough to be comfortable.

Arriving at the bridge, Alice didn't hesitate to move. Hearing Rana's order given to Stella, she immediately went to the other girls side.

"Let's make them sorry." She didn't hold anger in her voice, she didn't hold any commanding, nothing but a cold and bitter tone that could almost sound pleading. Her fists were clenched to the point of turning white at the knuckles. She stared at the map, taking every little light and blip on it in, regarding everything as an enemy.

Leo was not so quick to move. The thought of seeking out a fight so soon didn't sit well with him, not one bit. Despite haven taken Marco's hand to support him, he found himself clinging to it for something to hold onto to. He didn't notice it himself but he trembled ever so slightly. The bridge felt cold, though he wasn't sure if that was really just him. He looked to Marco, perhaps for guidance or maybe for comfort, but he didn't want to make any decisions himself right now.

Woah haha I kinda though you were older then me but I didn't expect you to be graduated, and from such an impressive field to boot.

I am in college, which would maybe explain why am under the influence of alcohol at the moment but I digress. Currently I am in a video game design program, which is actually all laid out itself and thus I don't major or minor in anything unless I choose to take another course along with it. I am very sorry for such long hang times in between posts, I really don't mean to leave you waiting. I just tend to get homework in at left for classes each week and have few, with few days to do them, then the rest of the week to attend full days of classes.

I am really sorry for being so slow. I can try harder from now on.

Also as stated I am not sober as I type this, so sorry if I make more mistakes than usual, or simply sound like an idiot. Not that either would be surprising.

Edit: Look at me talking about myself. I'm sorry. If it's not too much to ask where do you live? It seems we run on different time zones. I myself live in Canada. Do you enjoy your job? How is the weather around you when you read this?
Rebecca watched as the young boy leaned against the hatch. She let somber eyes fall on him, as well as the hatch. She had known the girl behind it somewhat, although they were never really close. She realized her grip had become a bit tight on the shoulders of her two companions and eased a bit. "..Look, you could probably use some rest. We all could, so why don't you head out of the hangar... I'll stay with ShiZhen." The young boy with gray hair looked up the older one, and then to the boy ahead of them. He clenched his fist, grasping for a little more strength, and moved forward, offering a hand to help Marco up. He didn't say any words, but he gave a warm stare, and a small nod.

"You three go in after Rana, make sure she is as okay as she seems she is..." Rebecca instructed Alice, squatting down to her level. The young sniper nodded meekly. The blond girl looked to the construct not terribly far away. Tilting her head a bit she regarded Stella with a slight contempt. She didn't mean to, really, but she never wanted an A.I to replace all those people down below.
Hey really sorry for such a long pause, I forgot how constant the work flow is in my program. I will certainly find time this weekend to make a post or two.
