[TFFN] The Nameless Tavern - a place for character building, story starting and some good ol' fun!

@Dark LightHave you seen the T.V. show Firefly? My character would be based off of Inara Serra. According to this series, a companion essentially is a high-society courtesan licensed by the Union of Allied Planets (the "Alliance"). In Alliance society, Companions are part of the social elite, often accompanying the wealthy and powerful. There is considerable ritual and ceremony surrounding their services, which appear to extend beyond sex to nurturing psychological and emotional well-being. Companion training includes social and physical grace, at least some performing arts, and psychology. Companions choose their own customers, and can have ungracious customers banned or punished. She can have a number of frequent clients throughout the Allied worlds, and takes both male and female clients, although most of her clients are male.

I'd like her to rent a room from the tavern for if anyone requests to hire her. She could also interact as a hostess of sorts for the tavern when not working, seeing as companionship isn't just about the sex. Nothing graphic will occur within the rp. If someone requests, we will take it to PM.

Background/History: She was raised by her mother, a healer for hire. They traveled frequently and only assisted others for benefit. They never stayed anywhere long enough to develop any sort of relationship. When Azrael was 14, a band of male scavengers raped and murdered her mother. They raped her as well but left her out in the cold to die. She survived, optimistic to continue her mother's work as a healer. That traumatic event left her with severe trust issues. A band of woman took her in and assisted her with gathering what little resources she currently had. At the age of 16, she began to travel as a healer for hire. She was also known for selling her body to trade for valuable items such as antibiotics. She enjoys helping others but never learned to trust anyone to stick around for long.
Goal/Desires: To find love, and be loved. Being an Idealist, her ultimate goal is to make the world a better place. But the world as we know it, may never get better.
Skills: Healer(great with natural remedies for common illnesses),
Family Equipment/Inventory: War scythe, Gas mask, Backpack(jeans, tank top, spare underwear, jacket, boots, small amount of food and water) First Aid kit(small supply of broad spectrum antibiotics and morphine)

Howdy y'all!
I'm obviously new to the site but relatively familiar with roleplaying. I'm back from a long hiatus and hoping it will all come back to me. My writing skills are a little rusty but hopefully that will change as I get more involved with this wonderful site. I've recently had way too much time on my hands and need a distraction from the troubles of real life. That being said, I welcome any friend invitations as well as rp invites. I'm a social butterfly and extremely talkative. So hit me up. :)

My favorite genre of roleplay is obviously post-apocalyptic. I'm itching for a Mad Max setting. I'll try just about any type of roleplay though, especially if it's new to me. I'm also interested in 1x1/MxF, any and all plots are welcome. Feel free to PM me if interested in that.
