[but if you steal my fucking nation I will geld you]The problem is when it comes to RPs like this I tend to need some IRL country to inspire my nation. I really only know about Germany to feel comfortable about creating a Pseudo version of it.

I really dislike your tone. I mean, its toxic I have to agree with him on this, do be polite about your criticism. Cursing and calling them names is the biggest way to get yoursel labeled as a douche bag @duck, there are alot of aggressive species indeed but the iscandarians just have the evil empire vibe. And taking on all those races with ease. Hell, had the terrans not used the ultra fleet killer, they'd be dead too. They actually had allies, and even their wins came at the cost of huge losses.
Just remember nak, always make nations with story potential rather than being strongest and best. Take ducks iscandarians. Hardly any potential other than being biggest and most powerful. So other than an antagonist, there really wasn't much to do with them. (and I was right as every story involved the iscandarians fighting people) I mean, that goes for all including myself but i just figure its a good thing to voice!Most of that fighting was not their fault, kinda of hard to write stories that do not involve war when half the people attacking you are literally races that exist solely to be aggressive.
If possible could someone throw a map together will all current claims so I know what is claimed and what is not?
Apollo, do the Septonians have any laser weapons? At all? Reading over your app again the most advanced thing they seem to have is rail-gun type things.
