Dusk laughed, disappearing in a puff of smoke and teleporting on top of Midnight, pinning her back. "Oh really? I would love to see some of those skills in action. But I bet mine are better." He grinned, licking her back before disappearing again and reappearing a few feet in front of her.

Dusk had been laying with Midnight out in the nighttime, the air having a slight, comforting chill to it. Not like he ever got cold, laying with his mate and his fur being all black. "Midnight..." He whispered, looking over at her with bright blue eyes. "Hades hasn't been doing too good... any he's barely out of his den. I've been practically running the pack in his absence, he rarely ever talks anymore. And now he's going to that big Alpha meeting... and somehow I know he's going to do something rash and fight with the other wolves. The last thing we need is a civil war on our hands... the humans are already starting to become a major problem. Our patrols are barely keeping them contained." The Beta wolf sighed, letting out what was on his chest. "What do you think we should do?"
