Chapter: Black Dragons
Fire and Bone!

Chapter Demeanour: A loyalist fleet based chapter founded during the Cursed 21st Founding, leading to a mutation of their gene-seed which causes some members to grow protrusions of bone from their forearms and head. They have been censured by the Inquisition before, but never found corrupt nor heretical. They are proud of their mutation and protect it, some rumors leading to belief that they steal gene-seed from other chapters when a tithe is called so as to prove they are clean. Believed to be a brother chapter of the Salamanders, though they are on tense relations. The Black Dragons do not normally work with other chapters, and rarely stay in one place lest others become too curious about the obvious mutations.

Personal Demeanour: Loyal to Chapter and Emperor, Arcturius always seeks to bring honor to both, and death to those who would stand against them. Like most Black Dragons he distances himself from other chapters, working with them when necessary, but usually to great effect. Defensive against any questions towards his appearance, he rarely removes his helmet except around fellow Black Dragons. He knows that other chapters treat his with contempt, but does not let it strike him.

He has a deep hatred for all xenos and heretics, like most Space Marines. Though he has inherited his Chapter's grudge with the Salamanders, and upright hates the Dark Angels and Marines Malevolent chapters.

Speciality: Dragon's Claw (Assault)

Power Armour History: Arcturius' armor is standard issue other than two marks of honor for his actions during the Third War for Armageddon, and of course the augments made to allow for his unique protrusions.

Description: Arcturius is like most Black Dragons as far as appearance. His skin is dark, his head bald, except for a large sharpened horn sprouting from his forehead, coated in adamantium. His lips are black as is his tongue which comes to a point, and his canine teeth have grown long and poisonous. He has articulated tattoos covering most of his body, mostly resembling dragons of some sort, others of flames, but his arms are completely covered in tattoos of scales. Finally he has two very long, very sharp bony claws that sprout forward from his forearms. These claws are coated in adamantium and used with very deadly proficiency.

Skills: Assault Specialist (Knows when to jump, and where), Melee Combat Veteran (Has the skills and the instinct to fight in melee), Dragon's Wrath (state of mind that when greatly injured causes Arcturius to fly into an uncontrolled fury of carnage, that greatly increases his strength and resistance to pain. Is currently unique to his mutation)

History: Before Arcturius was recruited into the Black Dragons he lived as a space pirate. Looting off of civilian vessels of the Imperium. The ship he lived on was raided by the Black dragons fleet as it passed through their sector, and those who survived the boarding were given a choice. Join the Chapter, or die, for Arcturius the choice was a simple one. He would become one of these gods of the Imperium, and he would live forever.

That was a lifetime ago, now Arcturius lives, and dies for his Chapter, and for the Imperium. Now he is a Dragon Claw, an elite among elites. He is death incarnate. Sweeping in from the sky on holy flame to incinerate the enemies of man. When he took wing there was not a force that could stand before his righteous fury.

This was something he proved during the Third War for Armageddon where he led a Dragon's Claw squad in defense of the planet. His quick and sound judgment of his squads deployments allowed for multiple victories upon the scarred surface of Armageddon. This was also where his unique mutation was discovered when he badly wounded by an Ork Skyboy. It was reported that Arcturius went mad with rage and set about rending through an entire chapter's worth of orks before his battle brothers were able to stop him and return him to safety. Once away from the combat he passed out until his wounds recovered.

Since then he has yet to fall into the rage, dubbed Dragon's Wrath, and has continued to serve his chapter honorably and effectively. When the call for the Death Watch was given to the Black Dragons he was the one chosen to represent his brothers and his Chapter. Before being sent off, he made a silent vow to protect his Chapter from prying eyes and bring them honor worth telling the ages.

Equipment and Armament: Arcturius wears Veteran Mark VII Power Armor, augmented to allow for his bone protrusions, and fitted with a Jump Pack. His primary weapon are his long bone claws that come out of his forearms. They are sharpened to lethal intent and sheathed in adamantium to allow his to cut through almost everything with ease. The same adamantium treatment has been given to a similarly sharpened horn that come out of his forehead. Due to his melee weapons being a part of him he is able to wield two bolt pistols at the same time, making it possible for hims to switch from melee combat to range without hesitation. Finally he uses flash grenades to assist with his jumps and any other uses he may have for them.

Miscellaneous: Due to the placement and length of the claws coming from his forearms he is unable to perform certain actions properly. Like opening a door, he usually has to kick them.

Erin listened politely to Marcus as he talked. Moving with him to the bar, even ordering a drink for himself and Marcus. It was sad to hear that his life had been changed so by the failings of his home. Erin handed Marcus a drink when they were delivered, and sipped his quietly as Marcus finished speaking. Asking him about why he decided to join the Guild. He took another drink before answering.

"Well, much for the same reasons as yours. Though without the circus," Erin said with a small laugh. "I really didn't have a home of my own before I came here. Before the war I went from guild to guild, trying to figure out where I fit in without truly finding it. It wasn't until the war came that I joined Wizards of Fiore, and even then not until half way through. Actually they found me when I was caught defending a small town against villainous mages who thought to sack the poor place," Erin said, his polite smile always present upon his face. As if the horrors of the war he had taken part in never really happened. He did take a longer drink though.

"So I saw your magic just a bit ago as Belial came barging in. That was pretty cool, and I've never seen it's like before. What do you call it?" Erin asked as he remembered Belial passing through Marcus on his way to Matsuki.

Lord Aldurin Ranold of Sevaviel

Whisper's ears pricked up as she heard her master's loud whistle and she bolted through the large cavern into the strange new place. There were many new people, many new sights, sounds, and smells. She wanted to investigate, but her master needed her and she ran for him, her soft paws barely making a sound upon the cold stones as she ran. She was happy to see her master, but she felt his anger and noticed the target it sought. A strange man, who was now being held by another new man. She didn't know either of them, there were people around that she knew, but her attention was locked upon the strange man being held. Her master's anger was infectious, causing her to raise her hackles and curl back her lips, exposing her long sharp fangs. A menacing growl rose from her chest as she watched the strange man. Poised like a bolt locked in a crossbow, awaiting her master to pull the trigger. That moment however did not arrive as another large man came storming up to them. The man shouted, it hurt her ears and caused her to flinch back slightly.

Then her master was following the large man, along with the strange man, and the one who had been holding him. Whisper followed closely at her master's side. He reached down and placed a calming hand upon her head as they walked. His touch made her relax and lower her hackles a bit, though she was still on edge. She could still feel her master's anger towards the strange man.

Once they all entered a new room, in the strange new cavern, they all stopped. The large man leaned towards her and motioned that he wanted her to come to him. At first Whisper refused, but a slight touch from her master made her inch towards the outstretched hand. The large man simple scratched her head with his big hands, the feeling was pleasant and she could feel the man meant now harm. She allowed herself to enjoy the scratching, her large tail wagging a little bit as her hackles relaxed the remainder of the way.

Lord Aldurin listened to the King as he spoke. He himself made no move to open his mouth, this was after all, not his land, and thus had not the authority to speak. Though that would not hold grounds if the matters were more than simple insult. Which the King had easily satisfied Aldurin's need for recompense from this "Lord" Robert. So he listened, back straight, piercing gaze locked onto the king as he spoke and his thumb absently stroking the two wolf heads that made the pommel for his sword. The talk about him dishonoring his Queen, his Kingdom made him pause his thumb over the pommel, but one a split second before he continued. He was, as of right now, a wolf without his pack, and an unnecessary attack on a bear would do nothing but end his life.

Finally the King finished speaking and dismissed them all. Aldurin tapped his side and Whisper followed him out of the room, but he stopped in the doorway and looked over his shoulder at the King "In the pack, even the Alpha male bows to the wishes of the Alpha female," he said with a slight smirk before continuing out. His black cape trailing behind him, and Whisper his silent grey shadow.

A ways away from the Kings chambers Aldurin caught up to Prince Rowan. "It's nice to know there are true men around who know the value of respect," he said as he came up to the Prince's side. "I feel I need to thank you for your support with that 'Rat Lord'. Though I do hope you're not so quick to draw steel where my Queen is concerned." Aldurin added with a small smile, that made him look like a wolf about to devour a fawn. Especially with his piercing eyes looking at the prince as they walked. The statement was part joke, but hinted with truth and question. This Prince was an unknown Omega attempting to join his pack, and he must always be wary of any potential threats, especially to the young.
