Nicolas Grimmond, Clover Town

As much as he wished they would, Nicolas wasn't so sure Trisana's cards would be of much help this time around. That fact was made evident when the demon sliced through one without even knowing it'd been coming at her. And he couldn't ask her to help any further because she had her own problems to deal with. Why me? He questioned himself mentally as Invidia came at him once more spouting some nonsense about how she thought guild mages were supposed to be strong. Even as she came at him with the intent to cleave off his arm he couldn't help but chuckle a bit as he attempted to move back. This was out of character, but he couldn't help it. "I'm sure a true guild mage is much stronger than I am, see as I'm not a guild mage yet." He said, just before he found himself falling backwards. The young girl had apparently taking his advice to stay behind him too literally. Without warning he was now on the floor. Even if the inntial strike from Invidia would have missed his arm he would certainly did if he didn't think of something. "I wish I could say I hate to disappoint, but I really don't." He manage to say before holding his hands out to form one of the same tomoe spheres of magic in front of him and the young girl he was now apparently guarding with his body. Hopefully she wasn't hurt. As far as the Tomoe went, there was a plan in mind. Nicolas was hoping that by forming it so abruptly she'd end up charging or maybe even falling into it, as he and the girl had fallen so suddenly in front of her. It was possible she'd trip or fall as well. And if she did, she'd find herself released in the air high above the battlefield. Yes. She'd fall from there. It might not have been much, but it would likely be much better than this close range which he was so utterly unprepared for. What I wouldn't wish for an official guild to be here right now. He thought as he got himself as the girl to their feet in the case that this plan didn't work. At least he'd be more ready then.

"Right right." Hiro agreed on the last statement his friend made. "And I think I have a few of those I stopped using. So you can take 'em from my place." He said, before their numbers were called. He'd already paid so all they had to do was pick up the food. They didn't call it fast food for nothing. Maybe not the healthiest, but it wasn't like they ate it everyday or anything. "Let's go. We can hang out and relax back at my place."

Koichi glanced at Amy. "You don't have anyone who can help protect your father? Your master? A friend? Anything?" He couldn't say he understand her worry. His guardians and their dojo were pretty safe considering they were his masters. He couldn't help much in this case to be honest. But at least helping think of a solution could be helpful. First she would need to relax a bit. It might have even been a good idea to check up on her dad periodically. Maybe now if she was so worried. (Sorry for this short post guys.)

After the event regarding that idiot bodyguard Killing Joke would have left the building. Although it wouldn't have been until after admiring Liz's figure as she left. Yeah. It was a good day. He ended up with a bag of pretty high quality liquor and stuff. Good enough to get him pretty buzzed and shit before the healing factor drained it off.

Killing Joke, New Metropolis

For the next two weeks or so, things would go about as usual. He had done about four more jobs for the Wayne-Stark Exec. In fact he was supposed to meet with him today. Hopefully it would be a good day. Especially since it was his birthday today. He thought. He wasn't quite sure. he hadn't celebrated it in a long time and his parents well... He got up from his bed in his boxers and went into one of his draws to look and look. "Ah..." He pulled out his birth certificate. "Yup. 18 today." He said with a slight yawn before walking out to the bathroom. He went through things simply. A little work out here, a little clean up there, some food in another place and time. And then he was getting dressed. Well, more like suiting up.

In the two weeks that had passed Nicolas and Tesla had formed a planned to get him into position as the new acting head of Wayne-Stark Enterprises. It had worked fairly well, but he'd be busy for a while smoothing things over. Meanwhile, Nicolas was free to relax bide his time as he investigate things of the suprnatural variety as usual. Still, there was something coming. He didn't know what. He didn't know when. But the storm was brewing and it was going to be a force to be reckoned with. That was for sure.

Personally, I'm gonna have to go with (In no particular order): - Deadman Wonderland - Soul Eater - Medaka Box Each of them told there stories in an enjoyable entertaining pace, knew what they wanted to be, and didn't really switch anything up. The characters (For the most part) each went though a fair amount of growth and showed noticeable changes by the end. Also, the ending of each, in my opinion, gave a fair amount of closure. Honorable mentions include: - Shaman King - Mahou Sensei Negima! - Katekyo Hitman Reborn - Kuroko no Basket - Histories Mightiest Disciple Kenichi - Beelzebub - Naruto Underrated Manga in my opinion that are complete: - Cage of Eden - Psycho Busters

@Demon Shinobi That would depend on how the sequal worked. I put Shaman King above so I would need to have a specific example. Make the list and I'll let you know if I have an issue with one.

Well for right now... I'm gonna say that Shaman King counts as complete cause it's sequel features all knew characters and so far doesn't revolve around the original cast. However, something like lets say Rosario+Vampire wouldn't count because the "sequel" It technically just continuing where things in the first part left off. Also do you mean best objectively, or best as in my favorite?
