Anthony shakes his head as he sits down and replies, "I gave her a letter that was addressed to her, and she ran out of the class we were in. I don't know who the letter was from though; I just know that someone didn't want Phoebe to have it." He rubs his chin and continues, "It's weird. I feel as if I witnessed something that would give a clue to where she had gone, but something's keeping me from remembering it."

She took a spork-ful of her beef slices and shoved it into her mouth. Some beef was still dangling out of her mouth while she signed: ”So what do we do about it? Is she safe?”

She gobbled down her food, and grabbed another spork-ful.

Anthony smiles, "It was my pleasure. Consider it an apology for our first meeting. He feels his hair being brushed, and turns to see Sue pointing to her bruised cheek. Anthony chuckles quietly and says to Connor, "If you ever need anything, let me know." He picks up his salad and joins Sue at her table. He greets her with a smile and signs, "Hello. Is this seat taken?"

She shook her head. She enjoyed his company more now, and it was nice that not the same people would come over to her side when they knew she couldn’t go in the cafeteria. Sooner or later she’d see Katherin, Kijani and… She frowned at the last person’s name.

”I don’t suppose you know where Phoebe is… do you? I read her mom’s letter…

After her brief conversations with her friends on the track, it was time for her to go back to retrieve her jacket and go back to her dorm. Her things were still there, and while she said no to Kijani’s offer for bruise cream, Sue’s cheek still ached though only slightly.

She raced back to her room and changed appropriately, after her brief stint of time outside.

This was her time to improve on herself and not just her abilities. If she had to prove anything to anyone today, it was to Mimic and her determination to be a better person.

She sat there, drawing down her notes again for the next hour.

Then came lunch, and Sue ran out of the classroom as soon as the last student’s questions were answered.

She walked over past Anthony and Connor in the cafeteria, she brushing the hair of both boys, grabbing her own tray of food and walked on outside. Her usual tabletop was again vacant, and it was almost always the case and she called it good luck. Sue smiled back at Anthony, pointing at her bruised cheek, with a fighting stance to show him the tough girl Sue was – or wanted to be.
