When Mimic fires the laser, then quickly flies to the floor and back at Ben, Ben springs into action. He allows himself to fall freely from the ceiling, thereby dodging the laser. As he falls, he shimmers into view as his suit takes on it's default appearance. Ben twists his body so that his feet meet Mimic's. Mimic's momentum carry them all the way to the ceiling, but Ben braces his arms against the ceiling, and shoves down with his feet, hoping to send Mimic falling to the ground.
He was impressed with his new skill of fighting while hanging from the ceiling with his hands. But that was a trait not uncommon. He could do way more on this though, Mimic thought.
“The itsy bitsy spider hung up from the ceiling top. Up came Mi-Mic and pulled the spider down.” He grabbed Ben by the legs and pulled him down.
“Unlike the rain, Mimic doesn’t dry up,” he snickered saying this lane to Ben.
“Nice. Next one up, please. In fact, bring in the alien girl, Estella.”
