If we've got dragons, I think they should be rare, usually eccentric, perhaps reclusive, invariably strong as adults, and with varying opinions on humankind so they aren't just monstrous beasts that occasionally torch villages.

If they're torching a village, you can be damn sure it's because they're pissed.
I get the feeling it's a mix of both. I mean, we live on a floating island. Many creatures would probably have adapted to being able to traverse this wild landscape already.
I get the feeling that Thema and Kelari would get along pretty well if they even crossed paths and had a reason to talk for any more than ten seconds. Of course, Kelari would find a reason all on her own.
We should probably cut off now before it gets too absurd.
NAME: Kelari Halder

ABSTRACT: Gregarious tattoo artist with a penchant for poetry and epics that moonlights as a library attendant.

APPEARANCE:

6' feet tall and slender, blue tattoos of angular symbols and shapes on forehead and over and under her left eye.

DETAILS: Strangers and townspeople know her as amiable and helpful, friends know her as clever and maybe a little crude. Loves to be in the company of others and enjoys meeting new people. Has been known to be quite talkative with customers at the tattoo parlor, if they'll let her.

But I don't feel like putting in more detail than that. I'd just go on and on. I'd rather show a lot through roleplaying so I have something to work with. Either way she'll be a blast to play.
Well I'm about to throw in a tattoo artist and I'd like to discuss her knowing a couple of the other characters. Blin is on that list right now. I haven't had time to review the others because I get really short ten minute stint to actually check in and say anything.
So what exactly is the time period we're working with?
It'll take me a little while before I can put down my character because I work on Saturdays. But, I have Sunday thru Wednesday off to do whatever I like and I get home in about five hours.
I already have an idea and I have a good feeling about it. Lots of growth potential. Lots of interest. Encourages taking initiative. I think...
