I suggest that Kij'hara comes from the same forest Kiarda made a name for herself in. So, that means Kij'hara might've known about the old myth of the lady of the forest, and Kiarda has a reason to know the Lizardfolk language, if they have one.

Well I don't know what you were expecting. If anything, there's a lot of potential interaction and a lot of room for character development. I mean, he'll be talking with someone who is very far out of their time. Kiarda is likely to know the earlier history of the orcs.

Olfin will be talking about long past orcish heroes or legends or somesuch and Kiarda will just pepper in, "Oh, I remember him... quite a quirky fellow. You see, he..." and then she'll go on about her strange adventures as a sorceress in the world three hundred years ago.

Gosh I'm going to have fun with that.
