Oh, it's been absolutely stunning. In contrast to our frustrating failures over the last few months, we made two exceptional breakthroughs in two weeks. It's astounding how many ways there are to save!

That's what I love to hear. I'm so glad that you've been able to do so much this month, and I appreciate your hard work. The end is in sight; I know it, after all these years.

But of course, my darling. As always, scholars are working around the clock to decrease energy usage. We've made our heat-recycling transformations eight percent more efficient and over sixty percent of the population of Sun City now uses them. At this rate, we'll be ready to launch to the rest of the world in just a few more months.

*Claps my hands* How very useful! It's good to see that you're taking such initiative. What about your part in the Efficiency of Everything? Have you made any progress at all?
<Snipped quote by Disdain>

Aha, morning, auntie! Thank you so very much for setting an appointment this time. It is several hundred times more efficient than your last entry. I made the system more efficient specifically for you, you see. And also for everybody else in the city.

I super appreciate it. That means all your facts are ready and in order, right? I want those numbers all neat and tidy.
*Opens the door to Perseo's office, munching on aliberries in my other hand* Good morning, Percy dear! *Singsongy* Time for your monthly progress report!

*Shrugs*
If I can copy them in any capacity, I might as well just take them. I'm going to modify the swords until then.

Smart. If you ever need any help putting them in line, let me know. *Hands the swords to you through a portal*
<Snipped quote by Disdain>

Nope. It's pretty much the equivalent of having tons of dependencies in a program, trying to copy the library, and then realizing it's being used on the wrong architecture.

Are there any superweapons you can copy?
<Snipped quote by Disdain>

Too many universal ties that stop working outside of the host dimension. For example, most superweapons that can destroy an empirical ton of stuff are universe-bound.

Could you replicate them anyway?
<Snipped quote by Disdain>

A ton. A lot of stuff people call magic isn't even magic at all; I'm restricted on using a lot of those items outside of their home universe though.

Why?
<Snipped quote by Disdain>

I don't like magical stuff. That cape was anti-magic too.

How much philotic interaction can you get technologically without any magic? I've got to research that more sometime.
<Snipped quote by Disdain>

I mean, I made PaMDA. The problem with technologically-oriented projects is that they exclude a lot of potential features embedded into some dimension-specific artifacts. Like my cape that Kirina broke—I couldn't build that. Plus, I'm not really good with hardware; I just got really lucky that Paths could be clustered into parallel computational units.

It doesn't necessarily have to be technological. Then again, I don't know how well we could make a magical artifact considering the poor relationship we have with magic...
