If we found a way to get everybody together—anyway, would you try the ritual with all of us?
<Snipped quote by Disdain>

*Shakes my head*
I do not know if the ritual can be completed in a mixed-state such as this.

A mixed state? With some of us... in you? And some of us not?
<Snipped quote by Disdain>

You've described my motivation completely.

Were you—you said you didn’t have a taste for murder. Were you hoping to scare us into unity? By killing some of us, and not all?
<Snipped quote by Disdain>

You could say that...

Please explain. I know it’s shocking that we got everybody here in one place, to be fair. And I can’t imagine that happening for any reason than certain death.
<Snipped quote by Disdain>

As far as I can tell, the second is more accurate.

Why would we have difficulty performing the ritual, then? Must we have some kind of peace or mutual friendship?
<Snipped quote by Disdain>

It unifies the abilities of the Codex and enables the reversal of entropy. However, my faith that such a goal could ever be peacefully achieved has waned drastically over the past many years.

Does it unify the abilities by unifying the people into one being? Or do we all get to stay ourselves?
<Snipped quote by Disdain>

I do not have details on the commitment required after the ritual is complete.

Can you explain what kind of a ritual this is, and why it requires cooperation?
@Threads of Fate
So if I can get the plan straight so far—you think we ought to release Azathoth, keep them from fighting one another, get their forces to keep each other busy, collect the undecideds, and pick off the rest?

*Glances across the beings in the room*

Is reversing entropy something that all Codex would have to be working on for all time? Or do you want to do even more than that? You said “no deaths would have been necessary.”
<Snipped quote by Disdain>

I am one of the Codex too.

*Grimaces again* That was tactless of me.
<Snipped quote by Disdain>

Problems I've decided are insurmountable.

Thanks for your faith in us. What do our relationships have to do with you anyway?
