I don't really know that much about the DNAngels honestly. But, yeah. They're from the 90's Superboy comic. They were clones made from the combined DNA of ordinary humans and members of Young Justice (Superboy, Wonder Girl, and Impulse).

The idea that has manifested in my little brain is to take that same concept (which is the same basic concept behind Superboy himself) and create a clone using the DNA of an underwater species. My current character concept is a clone using the combined DNA of Mera and Tom Curry (Aquaman's human father). Created by Cadmus to be weapon to be used against Aquaman, my character would instead have actually become (obsessively?) loyal and devoted to the King of Atlantis after being rescued.

POWERS
Superstrength - Spider-Girl can lift up to 5 tons. Her physical strength also extends into her legs, enabling Aimi to be able to jump to a height of several stories in a single bound.

Spider-Sense - When danger is present, Aimi feels a buzzing sensation in her head as a sort of early warning system, allowing her to react accordingly. An extrasensory "danger" or "spider" sense which warns her of potential immediate danger by the manifestation of a tingling sensation in the back of her skull, and links with Aimi's superhuman kinesthetics, enabling her to evade most any injuries, unless she cognitively overrides her automatic reflexes.
Aimi's spider-sense is actually more developed than that of Peter Parker. Whereas Spider-Man could only get a feeling that a particular spot was dangerous to him (or similarly to the preservation of his secret identity), Aimi is able to sense the exact direction from which the danger comes.

Superhuman Agility - Spider-Girl's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are all enhanced to levels that are far beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. Spider-Girl is extraordinarily limber and her tendons and connective tissues are twice as elastic as the average human being's, despite their enhanced strength. She has the combined agility and acrobatic prowess of the most accomplished circus aerialists and acrobats. She can also perform any complicated sequence of gymnastic stunts such as flips, rolls, and springs. Spider-Girl can easily match or top any Olympic record at gymnastics apparatus such as flying rings, climbing ropes, horizontal bars, and trampolines.

Superhuman Reflexes - Spider-Girl's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are currently about forty times greater than those of an ordinary human. In combination with her spider-sense, the speed of her reflexes allows her to dodge almost any attack, or even gunfire, given sufficient distance.

Superhuman Speed - Spider-Girl is capable of running and moving at speeds that are far beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. Spider-Girl has shown to be fast enough to catch up to an accelerating car while on foot, but prefers to travel by webs

Superhuman Equilibrium - Aimi possesses the ability to achieve a state of perfect equilibrium in any position imaginable. She seems able to adjust her position by instinct, which enables her to balance herself on virtually any object, no matter how small or narrow.

Wall Crawling - Aimi possesses the ability to manipulate the inter-atomic binding forces of matter, allowing her to form temporary molecular bonds between her body and another object, which in turn enables her to cling to solid surfaces and scale walls simply by placing her hands on them.

Organic Webbing - She has organic web shooters enabling her to release strong elastic adhesive webbing through her fingertips. Spider-Woman can use these webs for transportation (web slinging), binding foes, and creating sticky nets

Weaknesses
What Did You Say? - Aimi is deaf without the use of a hearing aid. She is able to hear very loud sounds without the use of a hearing device such as nearby gunshots and explosions. But, without a hearing aid Aimi is unable to verbally communicate with others.
Hearing Aids - These are ordinary hearing aids with no spectacular properties. The devices could possibly get knocked loose/off and/or damaged during a superhuman fight.


I'm Only Human - Despite her mutant abilities Aimi can still be killed by conventional methods.

Inexperience - In the time before the game takes place Aimi has no experience fighting super villains.

わかりません - Other than some common words and phrases used by her father, Aimi cannot actually speak/read Japanese.

Skills / Talents
Sign Language - Aimi is fluent in American Sign Language.

Point Forward - Aimi is one of the stars of her school's basketball team.

Appearance

Aimi stands at 5' 6 (168 cm) and has the stereotypical slender build of the average Japanese teenage girl. Aimi is actually biracial with her father being Japanese and her mother Caucasian American. Her eyes are so dark they're nearly black and her hair, which she currently wears short, is also naturally deep brunette.

BRIEF Bio
Aimi Danielle Abe was born to Dr Takeshi Abe and Mrs Tamara Madison Abe in Washington D.C. just over seventeen years ago. Three years later, the family would move to New York.

It wasn't too long after the move that Aimi began to fall ill. The little girl's sense of hearing was the first to be effected as it slowly began deteriorating. Over the next few years Aimi lost her stamina, easily getting winded after just a short amount of activity, her immune system began to fail, and her bones became brittle. Dr Abe and his colleagues her at a loss to what was happening to his daughter.

When all seemed lost to the Abe's a young med student introduced himself one day out of the blue. He said his name was Gerald Drew and that he might just have a possible cure for their daughter. After a few days of discussion the Abe's agreed to give young Mr Drew a chance. It had become obvious that Gerald was gifted in the field of biology and genetics. What Takeshi and Tamara did not know was that Gerald was actually the son of Jessica Drew, the original Spider Woman. Gerald's plan was to recreate the experiment -with a few modifications- that had saved his mother's life as an infant so very long ago.

After a few mishaps and failures the experiment was eventually successful. It was a slow recovery, but by the age of ten Aimi was a completely healthy child except for her deafness which oddly could not be reversed. Gerald Drew became a close and valued friend of the family after saving Aimi's life with the child affectionately calling him Uncle Gerry from then on.

Her loss of hearing never slowed Aimi down. Once she was healthy the girl's energy could not be contained. She became known by classmates as a regular daredevil as she took daring and totally unnecessary physical risks. In the seventh grade she joined the basketball team which helped keep her out of trouble after school.

Over the last couple of years, Aimi has gone through some noticeable changes. She moves much faster and reacts much quicker than other teens her age. Her strength has seen an increase too. Aimi can run circles around her team mates without hardly getting winded. Her coach and team seem to just chalk it up to years of conditioning, but her parents have began to wonder if it may be the result of something else....

Key Differences
Aimi is Japanese which is a different ethnicity than other Spider-People within the mainstream comics.
Unlike Jessica Drew, Aimi did not develop a bio-electric blast. Instead, she gains the ability to create organic webbing and a spider-sense.
Aimi is also deaf.

Daniel Lee - youngest son of Ganke Lee, and one of Aimi's closest friends. Like his mother, Danika, Daniel can be pretty obsessed with superheroes.

Amber Osborn - Aimi's friend and classmate, daughter of Norman H. Osborn.

Dr Gerald "Uncle Gerry" Drew - son of Jessica Drew, and the one responsible for saving Aimi's life.

Doctor Octopus - A cannibalistic (mutant?) super villain with tentacles growing from her back.

The Jackal - Is it the original Prof. Miles Warren or a clone?

Green Goblin - Spider vs Goblin, the war begins anew... 

Alchemax - Company founded by the original Green Goblin, Norman Osborn.

Other possible characters could include:
The Beetle, the Scorpion, the Tarantula, the (Human) Fly, Steel Spider, Maggot, Vermin, Frogman, Shocker, Blue Streak... (yes, I may be willing to share some of these characters with other players.)
