I apologise for the sporadic posting. I haven't been feeling too motivated or inspired lately. Haven't been writing or doing much at all.
Yeah.

Will voice in a bit. Been busy.
Skrax stumbled through the portal and shook his head to relieve himself of the cobwebs. Inside, where the rest of his newfound companions were, the round chamber loomed, empty and quiet.

"I am alright, though I am unsure of where we are."

He sighed and patted himself down, relieved to find his prayer beads still hanging from his neck and staff gripped firmly in one hand. With a cursory glance around the room he saw the rest of his companions, and also the ceiling, which looked like an infinite night sky.

"Well whatever this place is, it's clearly magical in origin."
Unconscious? XD
Boy it'd have to be a well furnished van. Cole is gonna get knocked out cold if he goes the distance for this raid.
@DJAtomika Well, I was thinking that RAVEN uses Cole's ability to help them in the raid on the Hands Base (To avoid jailtime for both Marcus and Cole).

That's a thing. Sure why not. Maybe have Marcus kinda helping with the raid or something.
"Now this feels a little more like home."

The wolf padded softly through the snow, hands in the pockets of his jacket as he whistled a slow, cheerful tune. On another aimless journey after helping the Dreamers, he had stumbled upon this icy world and had decided to give it a look see. After all, nothing appealed to an ice elemental more than a world full of what he was made of. However, the one thing that bothered him was that for the whole few hours that he'd walked in a straight line, he'd seen no one.

No signs of life. A depressing thought, one that mellowed his thoughts of a perpetual winter wonderland for him to fool around in.

The area he was in had little trees; most of the greenery had most likely succumbed to the unending cold. What little plants and trees remained were evergreen, their spines keeping themselves green and lively through the infinite winter. The air was not cold enough to freeze what water he'd seen, but it was cold enough to bite through his fur like a knife.

As his sneakers crunched through the snow, he looked around. No snow fell, and as far as the eye could see the plains were a dull white, dim light filtering through the dark clouds that masked the sun.

Then, a noise. Footsteps, crunching on ice and snow.

Quietly, he hid behind the trunk of a nearby tree, pressing himself as flat as he could down into the snow. He drew upon the ice within himself, freezing the snow up against his entire form until it camoflaged himself against the ground, save for his eyes that gleamed from a little slit in the snow. From there, he watched and waited, ears peeled for the footsteps as he looked for their source amidst the snow and ice.
"No one."

The daemon known as Barr leapt deftly down from one of the stone parapets, even as the rest of Cho's arsenal rejoined him outside. Barr was a gangly daemon, roughly two feet in height, a winged creature with gangly limbs and more sharp claws and teeth than one could count. His countenance was more of a bat than anything else, and as he glided down on a gentle breeze he landed on Cho's shoulder and preened a wing.

"Most perplexing. Sieges like these usually yield at least one or two wounded men, sire."

Hek spoke up, his voice piercing the quiet. He was a more traditional looking daemon; roughly seven feet tall, two long crimson horns sprouting from a dragon-looking head, soulless black eyes and a body most weight lifters would envy, together with legs that ended in cloven hooves and a long, whiplike tail with serrated spines. His arms were folded as he contemplated the ruins before them.

"You think?"

"I am positive, sire. This must've been a sacking. Leave no one alive. And it must've been recent. Their blood is still fresh."

"Hm."

Cho stood on the steps to what would have been the grand entrance to the castle; the footbridge was down, and it was littered with fallen swords and shields, arrows jammed into the wood, along with lots of spilled blood, limbs and bodies that were quite fresh. Whatever force had lain waste to this castle certainly had nothing in terms of mercy.

"What do we do now boss? There's nothing here!"

Kris piped up from his chest. The submachine gun was still that, a submachine gun; the daemon within still had not learned nor mastered how to change form to her regular daemon shape and back again yet. The others had, and it infuriated her. Cho looked down at the Vector with her two pairs of eyes and shrugged.

"We wait, I guess. Perhaps someone will come along to salvage what's left."

That being said, he found a particularly large foundation stone and sat upon it, his daemons taking their places next to him.
Will make a post soon. Not at home so no access to computer for voice.
@Mr Allen J Oh.

Well I guess after the whole debacle Marcus will have no more plot threads including him or his buddies.

I think I'll just collab with you the whole way, Al.
