Current Its a fun feeling to just sit and think about what to do for responses. The flipside is feeling locked in place, waiting for another to go first on something.

You ever take a look at the forum board, not see anything of ready interest, and decide to just go about your day? Figured I'd see if a new game was interesting, nope, ah well.

Writer's block is a pain, but if I happen to owe anyone apost, I'll be working on them tonight, hopefully. Might go surfing, see if any games catch my attention.

Bio

I already did an earlier introduction, but this is something one could always see, so let's roll.

Serene is the pen name that I use over on my old G+ account, which if you're able to find the account before the site shuts down, is Serene Selphia, but no fancy url, lol. But to those I'm close enough to, my nickname is Chris, and if I ask you to not use it, its nothing personal, I'm just not ready for that level of friendliness. That isn't to say I'm not a friendly person, just that I can be a bit professional when it comes to stuff. I've been rping since like...2011 I think? If I could find the Minecraft rp forums I started on(yes those were a thing, it was actually full of good rpers, but all good things come to an end of course), I'd have a precise date.

I roleplay a lot of things, well, that was the old system. About four years back, I settled down in a roleplay community on G+ called Temple of Glory, and began to stick to just one character who I kept working on, using other characters as I felt the need. That was my current primary character's father, a character I'll call the Professor for now, as I intend to post a version of his character sheet later. Probably when doing so wouldn't spoil what became of him in a storyline. Anyway, after a point I burned out as him, and switched focus to his daughter, who I use primarily in the old roleplay hub I come from. The Good Doctor, and here, no spoilers, mostly because ahaha, I'm shy about that.

I love a lot of series, but my heart goes out mainly to Rune Factory, Sonic, Mega Man, Metroid, Mario, Pokemon, and Duel Monsters. Especially Rune Factory and Sonic, though lately I've fostered a love for the Nasuverse, Fate Grand Order is a fun time. I love to read a variety of things, and I'm always online unless sleeping, so feel free to drop me a line if you need it. While I'm relatively new to the site here, I'm an rp veteran, and a skilled writer, as you'll see whenever I post the Doctor's current profile.

Ah right, more on me. I'm a college senior presently, I just had my capstone for my history degree wrapped up, and I'm proud of my progress. While I am a loner by nature(I mean my writing often keeps me trapped in my room to meet paper deadlines), I'm still a sociable person, and if you can't reach me here, my Discord is Serene Selphia#1064. So I suppose that's a bit of a spoiler, but to who, I won't say. Just be forewarned, if you ask me about a character of mine, there's a risk I'll write a lot, so make sure you're totally fine with that.

In terms of roleplay, while I do mainly fantasy/science-fiction, I can roll with just about anything(as far as I know), but if I tell you its not working for me, don't take it personally. I'm a fairly detailed writer, and in terms of style, I'm good with both combat and non-combat related narratives, I mean, my current main was built for combat initially, whereas her father is more the sociable type. The most detailed things tend to when I describe the world around, or when writing profiles for characters I adore. Basically, if I'm in tune or really love something, you could get a lot. I once wrote about twenty pages on a google doc in two hours because I loved it so much. Weird flex sure, but you can understand it. I don't look for much in rp partners, so long as you can write me enough that I understand either what you're doing, or what's going on, I'm usually good. I'll generally drop a line if I need more information.

I love learning, so if you ask me about something, and I don't have an answer, I'll gladly take the time to do at least a basic amount of research. And if you're ever stumped for ideas, drop me a line, I'm always glad to help fellow veterans or the newer folk. Heck, at one point for a friend's group I wrote an entire(albeit unused) document full of random plot ideas for the group drawn from throughout film and video games. Point is, if you need someone to talk to, unless I'm in a bad mood, or its a bad time(aka I'm about to go to bed, or in class), I'm always up for at least a quick chat. I do take commissions, so if you want a fanfiction written, give me a holler, or if you just want a custom story about a character of mine, or just ask for them to give their input on something in a non-serious setting. Still debating what to set prices for, or if I work totally free...I mean I should charge something, but anyways, wew, talk about a ramble, eh?

Anyways, that's about it. I'll probably rewrite this as needed.
Restating ways to reach me as needed!

Here's mine. While yes, I know we're going for more "generational" characters with our skins, here who I was thinking of doing for the in game model. Main reason because I was gonna play a video game historian minded character, or a historian in general, who often wears obscure or forgotten skins. And to be real, a character like this would be have been forgotten by the point the Universe takes place, likely. If there's an issue with this, I can look for someone else.

Extra Note: They've been in a game or two, though I was also saving this for something else, but oh well.
Rip, best wishes there man.
Darn, she's badass.

Guess its gonna be mostly Humas then, lol.
Found one, litttt.
That makes sense, I'll see what I can find.

Push comes to shove, I can't find a 3D render of this one character I was gonna do, I'll probably just do Doctor Eggman or something, since cool stuff.
Gotcha, so only video game or movie characters, no anime folk unless they have a rough 3D model in something like Gmod, I take it? Just making sure again. I may ask a ton of questions, ahaha.

That said, I'll start considering items.
Artificing Saint

"That's a relief, and you're welcome." While she dusted herself off, Henry had begun to examine both her and himself for any signs of injuries, or odd features. Never judge a book by its cover, it seemed held true. It was weird to walk, sure, what with the factor of a TAIL AND ALL. Anyway, he'd been about to ask her name, when...that happened.

"What the fuck." In another life, he would have been mortified at his curse, as his head whipped in the direction of that roar. He noted the butterflies, he noted finally the three pillars, especially the most broken of them...his heart strings being tugged oddly enough. He almost didn't hear mister "I've got a magic dick, I've got a magic dick" talking, but soon listened in. Only to grumble under his breath. He had a feeling he knew who that was, but didn't care for the moment. If he wanted to run off into possible danger, without first examining their surroundings, hell, figure out just what they'd been brought to the world with before they saw combat, that was on him. Sure, there were probably more to come. Monsters and creatures. If he had to guess, it might be like a game, where when it got dark, more dangerous creatures came. That did make him look again at that third pillar...and he had an idea.

"Yeah, you go on ahead or whatever. I'm gonna do the smart thing, at least make sure there isn't a hidden treasure chest nearby. I could use some backup though." He said this mainly in the direction of Amaris, offering her a warm, gentle smile. Well, as best he could. He didn't care how the guy running off had guessed anything, he had probably jumped to assuming that they were all from the school. Which, while possible, it was just as likely that not everyone was from the school here. That did beg the question...why were they here? Was this all some complex dream? Group hallucination? No...he'd been the first to presumably fall asleep on the bus. So if it was a dream, it was just him. But...this really didn't feel like a dream. Not even his most lucid ones had been like this. Which meant...either they'd all been kidnapped, had swapped bodies or...had died. The last one involuntarily sent a shiver down his spine. He quickly, but lightly, smacked the side of his snout, to make himself feel better. He turned back, walking towards the pillar, the third, broken one. It pained him to see it so, the destruction making him wonder just what had done it, and what they'd all been dragged into. The sense of an energy in the air was immensely strong here, and it seemed to go deeper. Perhaps...there was some sort of magic rock down there? If this turned out to be part of a Rune Factory world...he was going to have a long chat with an Earthmate when the time came, but he doubted they were so lucky as to be flung into a world he knew. Sure as hell didn't feel like something Tolkien would write. But finally,at the stone pillar, he reached out a hand, to brush against it, just to feel it...and then he proceeded to stumble back, twitching from the sudden vision he'd gotten.

A flash, of a giant carving the pillar, which had some sort of snake eating itself...the world serpent came to mind, which made him shudder again as he thought about it. The giant placed some sort of stone into its top. Well, this was getting interesting. Okay, so he had three options. One, dig down towards whatever was down there, two, look for the rock, and three...those stones nearby looked important, he could try using them. Digging made the most sense, what if that energy could help them? Sure, risk of death perhaps, but he had a feeling that the higher power who brought them there had anticipated such a risk, and had taken measures in advance..to prevent everyone from instantly failing. Still, couldn't be too careful. "Oi! If anyone wants to, could use some help digging here!" He mainly fired this towards the girl with the floating arms, who seemed to be fine, if sounding a lot like a Dwarf from Tolkien's work, or an Irish person. Great, that was going to make the adventure fun, reminded him of how people talked funny when holding Thor's hammer in the comics. Great...

Regardless of if anyone helped him, he'd start digging around at the base of the pillar, mindful to y'know, not bring it down on his head. Henry's massive, lizardman hands made shoveling much more effective than if he'd had a human's body...props to that goddess for bringing him back in this form. He'd have to find out more about her later, see if she was the type to offer advice and guidance. Or at least ways to scare everyone. He'd hope that whatever came forward, they wouldn't be too alone as a team. Perhaps the Goddess would send them allies...hopefully the locals weren't too racist. But anyways, he kept digging, until either something happened, or nothing did. This would probably on his own take a wee bit, but with help, go faster. He wanted to be quick, find out what was around, and go from there. Hopefully magic jazz hands would help him, he kept looking at the hands on occasion, feeling...intrigued by them. Anyways, yeah.

//Part 1 of 2. Part 1 is for anyone who wants to help dig, part 2 will be what happens after. GM told me what's happening, you can ask him for more if needed. Edits can be made.
Agh, I could have added his dragon form as a special move. Oh well. I might edit it later, if I decide I really want to use Stardust Dragon as his dragon form's FC.
At least a rough draft. Hope it looks good. This is literally based on my old OC whose my current main's father, but with changes made of course to commit to the setting. He's a wind dragon, rather than your standard fire drake, hence the lack of fire breathing elements.

Oh so if we can't find a picture of our character in 3D, we can't use em?

That could...make things harder. But I getcha, not an MLP person beyond the occasional hit of crossover tunes.
