I know hundreds of people by name, have had more than one conversation with most of them, and see/hear thousands of others on a daily basis because there's no way to have private conversations here. I also use some of the social media apps popular on campus, like snapchat, 'fade', yikyak, the anon confessions, etc. I've been to a decent few clubs, talked to many queer people (am friends with a decent number), and never once have any of the women made any remotely sexist comments about men. It's very mild and moderate. edit: I should also mention I live on-campus in one of the residential areas known as the most active, liberal, etc. on campus.

No I just don't consider tumblr equivalent to RL and I attend a major university in the most populous state in the US. My school (UC Santa Cruz) was built at the height of the cultural revolution of the 60s, is considered as ultraliberal as (or even moreso than) Berkeley, and one of our Alums invented Klingon. Look it up, it's all true. edit: also I forgot, I think you're deliberately missing the point by calling me 'lucky.' What I said contradicted your very absolute statements. That's fine if you don't want to respond to them, but nontheless they are true.
