Is it ok to play a character with a noble background?

My question is simple, what are the limitations of magic?
Transforming into an animal for example, not that I'm planing to make a character that will do that, but I would like a better notion of the skills permitted.

She took another look at the adventures "Well, I take I will be joining you two on this little expedition thing, name is Amanda of the De Bourgogne family. I'm under Hermes here" she was expecting sorts that looked more fit to the job, veterans and such, but there was no reason for hostility with this group.

I have been trying, but I'm completely blocked, nothing comes to my mind no matter how hard I try to write. I have been reading other posts for inspiration but on this case I just really can't seem to do anything interesting.

Labyrinth

Amanda was curious to see what was happening in front of her but she was neither crazy or courageous enough to walk too close to the battle. First she saw the other two adventures, two simpletons she guessed, but they looked nice enough and it was always lovely to have someone else between monsters and her, the odd creatures were in front of them it was a bit neat to finally see the kind of things she would face from now even if whatever came next would probably be more intimidating than the two whatevers.

One of the creatures fell quite easily, the other actually managed to attack. Her hand was already in her rapier and she could try to attack the creature, the problem was the chance of also hitting the man's leg, the blade was long and meant for piercing, even with finesse it would probably encounter a leg or two in its route, which probably would make him angry enough to try to kill her, or even worse, to try to sue her.

With a sigh she kept her sword in its sheath, surely the chance to try out her weapon would come eventually.

Amanda eventually arrived on the guild with no issues, with the goddess not in sight she contained herself on doing a bit of paperwork as she helped other members organize products and calculate margins, however as noon arrived she felt a bit bored, she liked to work with finances but right now her mind was solely focused on the Labyrinth.

"Well, I think I will be checking what is going on there now, earlier it was almost impossible to reach it thanks to the masses" she said to a fellow guildsman before leaving for the Labyrinth, if nothing was to interrupt her she would probably go straight into it.

Lavinia hadn't participated on the whole Dress Up situation, not only was she already dressed but on this new form of her she felt way less inhibition and thus didn't care much about the common dress up code.

Either way, after a quick time waiting she proceeded to join Terra in the journey onward, she had to stop herself from giggling when the guard asked if they were armed even if he could clearly see that they had a dragon with them.

After that she taught things would move on naturally and softly but then the thunderous voice was heard "Oh wow, if that is Serenity her parents had a wicked sense of humor"
