Inversely, I'm the idea guy oftentimes. I make up stupid things and then try to make them work provided they aren't too stupid. Or sometimes because it's extremely stupid.
In high school I was called tactless by one of my friends. I think that term fits pretty well.

I have a similar problem. Like I can't tell when people are writing drunk unless I'm told explicitly or they're really drunk.
