Vaeri wandered out of the forest, her cloak a bit wet from the dew and covered with a few stray leaves and looked around her to find herself at a random spot outside of a town she didn't recognize, but knew to be her destination. Despite the fact that there were perfectly usable roads for her to travel through, the elf found it more comfortable to travel through the brush. It reminded her of home. She also had been traveling under the cover of night. It was easier for her to see others in the dark than vice versa, and alone in the forest it would be difficult to follow her, so it tended to be safer for Vaeri travelling this way than how most people did.

Vaeri stifled a yawn as she stumbled her way through the town. Unfortunately, her method of travel dictated ruining her sleep schedule in comparison to how the rest of civilization functioned. Any time she would enter some sort of settlement she would have to readjust her habits so she could conduct her business.

A few weeks ago while helping out a nearby farming village secure some wolfsbane they needed for medicinal supplies, Vaeri had found one of the notices sent out about the cinder sickness epidemic lying on the road in a puddle of mud. And after reading about sick children needing her help, she couldn't not go to aid this noble cause. It was a week's worth of travelling, but Vaeri had made it. She pulled her cloak close to her body and walked into the Apothecary.
@Warrior in the Shadows Well they kinda sorta not really sleep. They meditate in a Trance instead, and they only need it for half the time that other races do. Really, I just needed to know for what's a rather minor detail in my post.
Question: Are elves here like D&D elves in that they don't need to sleep?
@Warrior in the Shadows I live in a rather arid place, so my early autumn is still late summer. Are we talking cold enough for your breath to condense, or a bit less than that?

EDIT: Nevermind, your edit explained it pretty well
So what's the weather like right now IC?
I wasn't trying to offend, insult or insinuate that people should adjust their CS or anything like that. It's just that as I was reading through the CSs that in terms of stated money on the sheets the sum total was not a lot. Since you said that anything not on our CS doesn't exist on that character and did not specifically exclude money from that rule, I figured it followed that same rule too. I'm sorry if I offended or sounded like I was trying to control other people's characters, I just meant to make an observation.

Yeah, kind of confused here myself. Have you worked out something with other rpers in the group to form a pre-existing thing before starting? Or are you trying to insinuate what the entire group has on their persons?

Well I looked through the possessions section on the character sheets and only 3 of us mentioned having money. Vaeri (20 gold or world equivalent), Silvania (a couple of coins) and Hanzo (not many coins). And you have been saying that if something isn't listed on a character's sheet then they don't have it. So totaled we don't have a lot of money.
Coinage as in money. We don't have a lot of it. If we need to buy things (which we probably will at some point), we will probably need to find some way to get more.
So our group will be very poor starting out. Our total coinage among all of us might be 30 GP if we're lucky.
So does that mean if I catch a cold and then have a kid while I'm still sick, they'll be half-influenza?
