Not just the comment, her dossier, her attitude etc. etc. Sorry if it seemed odd. My character is odd and awkward if that helps.

Ok. I was just confused by it. Thanks for the clarity.

Since Saf's recently come out of a court martial for striking a superior officer Phayne could easily take offense at her attitude, since he would've been the second highest ranking officer on the team, if we'd still been using ranks.

I just read it as a sign that the former-LtCdr is having the same problems as Saf letting go of his former position.

Well, 02 is in command and everyone else is tied for second-in-command :P
@Rhymer um... 09 didn't question authority when talking about Overwatch. The only one with any autjority is 02, and we're allowed to speak freely. Your character's comment just seemed odd, saying that she's disrespecting authority by simply saying that 'Overwatch' isn't there.
Fixed it.
@ArkmageddonCat If I was supposed to go to the tower, I'll fix that I didn't know
Cecelia

Cecelia follows suit with Eli and goes straight to the other bed in the room, looking for rest after this... eventful day. Her last thoughts were of her team, and how much care she felt for them after just a day's work with them.
Upon awakening just after dawn, Cecelia started feeling the aftereffects of all the booze from last night. Well, time for two doses of remedy. It might taste bad, but it gets rid of all the bad stuff. Humming a tune she learned when she was a kid, Cecelia got to it, making a concoction of a juice that smelled bitter, but looked close to milk in color and visible textures. Cecelia sat both of the glasses down at the small table in the center of the double room and headed over to Elisha's bed. "Um, hey. Elisha? Uh, Eli? I- uh, I made the stuff. It's just past dawn, and we need to get our stuff ready to go." She'd feel bad to have her hangover cure without the younger girl also partaking, because Cecelia knows how bitter and sour it tastes and doesn't want Eli to have to do that alone.

Brennen Garron

Brennen awoke with a start when sun hit his face. "Wha- huh? How did I get here? When di- aaaaaaah..." The hangover effect is beginning for Brennen, starting with a headache. He's dealt with it before, so as long as he kept his mind occupied, it would be fine. So, what to do today? The weather looks nice. Maybe a stroll around the block? Maybe get to know the Cleric better. Hell, I don't think we've properly exchanged names. Brennen had forgotten about most details of the previous day's battle, only remembering having participated and winning. Then... nothing until him waking up. Did I drink? I must have had a lot to have forgotten so much.
I done did posted. The only reason the fight was done easily, quickly, and without much effort is she's on Earth (starting area-ish section), so they're the weaker ones of the bunch. Plus it's fun to have action-filled opening sequence. ^_^
A sparrow flies over a hill in the Earth terrain as Cecelia zooms toward the center of the half-dozen Fallen. Throwing a knife at one's face, it quickly falls dead as she pops a cap from her handcannon into the nearest face she found, while tossing her swarm grenade behind her to do some damage. She turned around to the weakened three: two of the "grunts of the litter" as Einstein so eloquently calls them, and one humanoid bug. Well, it has 6 limbs. She dashes in to stab one grunty in the face, whips around to shoot the other's face, and is left with one Fallen.
"Einstein. Music?" The Awoken thrill-seeker requests. "I thought you'd never ask, Princess." And with that, heavy metal instrumental music starts jamming in Cecelia's helmet as she pulls out her knife to face the Fallen. Making it interesting. "Hey, any challenge?" The Awoken smirks from in her helmet as bug-boy roars at her. "Yeah, only stabs to the back." Her helmet responded over the music. "Easy," is all Cecelia said as she rushed in. The Fallen had just charged a shot, but couldn't pull the trigger before before Cecelia knocked it aside, spun until she was back-to-back with it and stabbed in the small of the back. If you can call it that.
Rolling away, the Fallen decides to try it again. They never learn, do they? Cecelia dashes at it, this time tossing her knife up in the air. She punches it in the face before it can shoot, because energy weapons need charge time, flipped over it, catching her blade after landing a little shakily, then getting in two more stabs before it turned to face her again.
With a smirk, Cecelia says "let's dance, partner." She grabbed the arm holding the gun, put it out as if to do the tango, and carved its back with her knife using her knife hand. It finally falling to the floor, Cecelia brags to her Ghost "hey, never said I needed to be behind him to make backstabs. Chalk another one up for me on the challenges, Einstein." The Ghost sighs and agrees, adding one to Cecelia's count. "Way to go, Princess. Find the loopholes." "Hey, that was fair and square. It was a stab to his back."
Einstein bleeped, getting a message, and played it internally, giving Cecelia the gist: "Some 'Aaron the Ranger' is supposedly in Scandenavia and we're chosen to investigate. Speaker's orders." Cecelia sighs. "A fetch mission? Really? This is gonna be boring, but it pays well, so let's go. Meeting at the Tower first." And with that, Cecelia and Einstein headed off to the Tower.
@DarkFey Gonna wait for your response before posting.
The corner of Seth's mouth moved up when he heard 06's intro. His suspicion of the like-mindedness on talking was confirmed. Only speaking when necessary and only what is necessary. The sniper chose his moment to speak as he probably chose when to shoot, using nothing less than the perfect timing. There was sizable silence before he spoke, then silence fell again afterwards. Sweet silence. It's the only time I can truly think to myself. This is nice, even though they're making their own tension at this point, it's interestng to see how they do with social tension.
Heavy, 03, seems to... enjoy it? It's not like we're awaiting deployment to shoot down dozens of foreigners or federal enemies.
Seth's focus on 03's reaction unintentionally forced his face into what would appear to be a scowl or glare. It's simply Seth's anylitical face, but it has before been seen as a glare or, in more common terms, a bitch face.
Regardless, Seth still identifies with 06 closest since they both have a liking to silence unless it's absolutely necessary to speak. In recon training, Seth learned to only speak in whispers at most, and that's only if he needed to relay information to his handler that couldn't be given through other means of communication to the observing recon team. Since he spent a few years in the recon "business", Seth learned to keep quiet. It may also have to do with not having used his creative half of his brain since elementary school, but that has yet to be proven. Well, to a definitive point. It's been theorized by all the psychologists he's been examined by, but there's no concrete evidence. Yet.
@Uruvion we kinda timejumped, so it's night time. You could post how Vance got to his room or something similar
