Well, I have a few questions if you don't mind. I'll try not to repeat anything already asked so bear with meh~

I love questions and you ask some good ones as well ^^

1. Active powers aside will elementals have passive traits that are common to all members of their element, for example being aware of the presence of their element in their surroundings. Or water elementals knowing when/if it is going to rain. A mixture of harmless/useful stuff like that.

There can be passive powers related to the element yes, mostly its like immunity to their own element (unless stated otherwise)
but it indeed depends on the element in fact as well, an electric one may indeed feel power sources, water elementals will be more related to something like getting energy from water o something
I had all this writen down but.. I cant find the paper....

also as I said before each elemental will have a trait unique to the element, some are active some are passive
most of those I do remember from my mind XD

2. I assume that since elementals live in secret alongside humans we are more or less completely human in appearance. Is it possible to have slight physical traits that allude to our heritage, ones that can be hidden? Traits that might also suggest our 'beast' form should we ever go down that route perhaps?

Yes in general we all look just like humans, the only natural born trait are the color of the eyes

the beast form is something we wont see of our chars, only one person is trying to find a loop, but he is finding me being pretty picky about it XD (well for being a nice GM I have said, if he can find the right trick, limits to it and all, I may allow it for him for 1 char, but up till now I found flaws XD)
normal settings however wont allow people to just randomly use beast shape (as its normally a permanent change where you lose all memories and with it, unless its plot based, it is like a death sentence to your char)

3. If elementals do come to blows, not saying this is my intention but you never know, is the course of battle dictated purely by the ability/power/control of each combatant or does the element play a role as well, as in does fire possess and inherent advantage over ice, ice over water, water over fire etc?

the element plays a role as well, I just mentioned that one of the next steps when I have the time will be to list the effectiveness chart

also as a general note on blows between, attack to defense can be completely different against attack to element body/ attack

Pure is basically energy in its purest state, its not fire or electrical

if I were to give it a example, its like Cyclops (of x-men) his optic blast, a blast of pure energy without a direct connection to any type of (elemental) energy

you could also call it Pure mana, seeing we dont have any mana uses in this rp, so mana or magical energy in a physical form can also be used as example

I personally see no problems with your character OTHER than your power set. I think the GM feels the same way. If you look at the other accepted characters powers (not mine, because she has none). You'll notice they can do one thing. Their power can be described in one/two paragraphs. Yet yours has caviates, exceptions, and quite a lot you can do.

If you were to limit and say, take the most of Blade's power away and leave him with one core ability, your character would probably pass. (I'm not the GM so I cannot guarantee this.)

This is what you had

Blade is one of the few that has 2 separate powers, though some think its just two paths of a single power called Physical energy manipulation.

*This actually isn't that OP of a power by itself. With a little work it can be a good, well rounded power.*

Power A

Physical energy manipulation; Aura manipulation.
Power level: between Beta and Alpha class.

The ability to shape and solidify the users own live energy, also called aura.
There are many types of aura manipulation, due to this Blade has started to call his one the; Free guided style.
In general regard he is free to shape his aura in any way he likes, from claws and swords to armor and such but he is limited to range more then any other aura manipulation power.
His range is pretty much directly to his body, the only way he can increase the range is by having something he can guide the aura though and even then there are limits and rules.:
-There is a size limit that if he tries to guide his aura over something that go's beyond the limit, the entire attempt will fail and nothing will happen, this also counts for matters that by first glance are not big but possess a much larger length, though with these the aura will travel past it until it reaches the limit which was force it back and give Blade a backlash of forcing his own live energy to almost exit his body.
-Even if the aura is guided, when it reaches the end of the guided object it keeps its original length outside the guided material, meaning the aura can only be extended by the size of the guided object.
-if the guided object is equal to the normal limit then it cannot extend past the guided object.

Using this power he can create wings by guiding it though the blue bands that are fitted to his shoulders, these wings will not let him fly as it lacks the mass to carry him into the sky but the wings do allow him to glide.
It will be hard to explain all the aura's abilities and shapes due to its limit being Blade himself, how he uses it, what he can think of and the limits of his body.

This abilities also allows the user to sense other people's aura's, useful for feeling living creatures no matter the reason and knowing what some people are feeling and if people are telling the truth.
The more familiar he is with an aura the better his ability to sense them from longer ranges and knowing if they are alright.

Weaknesses of this power:
-Originally aura manipulation is a high defense power, but this one has likely the least density and durability then all other aura manipulations
-Other aura manipulations also tends to have special traits, which this one lacks.
-The limit and rules of shaping it around the users body limit its options a lot
-Making custom swords and claws will never have the same sharpness as a real claw or sword of the same type and build.
-Aura sense is a passive power that can not be deactivated, as a result it can be very overwhelming if there are too many people near by, especially if they all have powerful emotions.
-Aura wings possess a weakness where if something happens to the clothing where the blue bands a are connected to, the wing will be forcefully broken which has 2 problems; the wing will be broken and the glide will be aborted, the aura that was still in the band will be broken away from Blade's body, it will recover in time but until that happened Blade will lose quite some energy and mental focus as that it causes a backlash
-if he gets a aura backlash he will receive a blow to his mind, he will stay awake but he wont be able to move and has no strength mentally for a while.

*This power is very, very much OP. With this you'd be able to take down the Technopath single handed in probably a couple of hours. Which wouldn't make for a good story*

Power B

Electrokinetic; Generator charge
Power level: Alpha class.

The ability to absorb electrical power into the users body as if he was a live generator or battery.
This is base segment of this power.
The power can be released from the users hands in electrical arcs and bolts, the stronger the bolt the more electrical energy it uses.
Or just cover the electricity over his sword.
This power makes him immune to electrical attacks.

There is a limit to how much he can charge, though it has never been measured in numbers.

Generator charge; Bio path

The ability to use the stored electrical energy to enhanced the users bio-electrical impulses.
(for those that dont know: Bio-electrical impulses are the pulses the brain sends and receives throughout the body, Blade is able to subconsciously control these pulses with his power to enhance them whenever he wants to use any of the following traits)
Using this ability Blade can increase the 4 basics of the human body: speed, strength, agility and healing, the way each react to the charge is different:
-Agility is the most basic, it has no level, as soon as its enhanced which he subconsciously does as soon as he starts to use this power or do certain movements, it will go straight to the maximum limit it can do, this is because the body can be either agile or not agile with this power, there are no steps in between.
-Strength is a simple path to enhance, the more he tries to use his strength the more his muscles get enhanced, yet as he stops using his strength it resets, better yet is in combat if he gets hit his brain tries to balance out the fight by increasing his strength to match his opponent BUT it has a limit, at beast you could compare him to a basic Spiderman, he can singlehandedly lift a normal car but it will be heavy regardless.
-Speed is the one he has the most control over and is the one power he uses the most, as long as he can run in a single line he can reach up from 0 to 100KL in just 3 small steps, but he can also move slower.
He cannot make turns unless he slows down to 30 at most, but by using a sudden burst of agility mid-step he can make a instant turn during this run, something like L turning from point blank, the angle he can turn is limited to a V turn.
-Healing is a passive skill, though he can switch this off if he think its needed, the body uses the stored up the electrical energy to increase the healing rate of his body, this can leave scars though that depends on the wound.

All these traits uses electrical energy and the 3 enhancements of the body traits damage the muscles as it go's past what a human should be able to, due to this the healing enhancement will be working throughout any of the 3 uses, draining more power, if the power gets too low he will start to slow or weaken in a rapid manner.
He will have to choose from there on, get weaker for a short healthy burst, stop enhancing his body and save some power for healing or anything else or go all risk, enhance his body for a final full out burst but pay a heavy price of muscle damage and even risk his live (as the heart if also a muscle)

This trait also allows Blade to cover himself with a small electrical cloak, when he hits someone by any means, even a body bash, then the electric cloak will effect the targets own bio-electrical pulses, showing down the pulses between that body parts and the brain, more contact with that body part means the part in matter will become fully paralyzed for a few minutes (yes its effect is short)
When effected the body part will feel like its asleep.

Generator Charge; Mental hacking

This ability allows Blade to control electrical devices by touching them directly with his skin, useful to control a electric powered machine even if he cant reach the controls or has any idea how to use it, he controls the machine just as if it is a part of his own body.
Also he can hack computers by sending his consciousness directly into it, bypassing many security settings, once inside he can find and pretty much do everything he wants with its files (unless it has a special encryption that he cant break open off course), he can even use all systems attached to the computer, for example if its attached to security camera's then he can use those as his new set of eyes.
Also if he has the right means (lets say a walky talky) he can try and hack into different signals such as a police radio, though this is often a matter of trial and error with luck.

If an electrical device is directly connected to the power grid, then he can even use these traits without having to have any power inside of himself.

Generator charge; transmutation

Finally we have his last 2 traits of this power.
Firstly we Blade can jump into electrical systems and electric guiding materials such as metal bars.
Doing this he can either take direct control of it, though it will overload the systems, hide in it or use it as a means of transportation.
If he jumps into an electrical system where very high power is running though (lets say a subway power grid) he can even exit fully charged

The last can only be done if he is Fully charged, if he has used even the slightest amount of power the chance this power fails to activate rises severely.
He can transform all his atoms and cloths into a being made of pure electrical energy for a short time.
During this he will be immune to many small physical attacks, including bullets, as that attacking him with your bare hands will deliver a shock to the attacker.
Interestingly he can still use his aura power during this with its original rules and limits, but it will instead change his body, using this combination to make his wings (as the bands still exist but made of electrical energy) he can actually fly due to the lack of weight and static electrical energy in the air normally.
Also he can still draw his sword, though its made of electrical energy as well during this.
This gives some nice special tricks as changing it to a whip when mixing it with his aura power.
However he can only use this power for 5 to 10 minutes, the more aura manipulation, sword tricks and normal electrical attacks he uses, the shorter his time in this shape becomes.
Once he changes back, including changing back right after taking the shape on to start with, he will be completely drain of his electrical powers

Weaknesses of this power:
-Nearly all uses of this power depend solely on if he has absorbed any electricity and if so how much, limiting its uses and posing risks in other situations
-He can not use any powers, not even Aura manipulation when he is charging up, leaving him wide open.
-Even if fully charged the electrical bolts he can release can not kill a person under normal situations, not so much a weakness but its a limitation.
-Because the bio-enhancements work on a subconscious level, he can at times accidentally activate it, draining his power for nothing.
-If his power gets low he has to choose how to use the bio powers which can be very dangerous in various ways, especially if he starts to slow down and wont get the chance to act on it.
-Turns during a bio-enhanced dash are limited in angle as that its hard to see, but otherwise he cant do any high speed turns.
-Using bio-enhancements while healing is turned off could be fatal to his heart but also damages the rest of his muscles which even when fully recharged can take days before its healed
-Due to the healing passive nature it can be easy to miscalculate the remaining power.
-When sending his mind into a computer he leaves his body behind defenselessly.
-With his ability to travel though electric guiding materials, he has to focus on the static echo around the material to know where he is, if you can predict where he will jump out from,it is easy to set up an ambush.
-He has to watch out when jumping into pluming pipes, making sure he jumps into the pipe and not the water, if water go's into a straight path its fine but once it becomes a large amount Blade's electrical form will be scattered and he has to focus and fight to recollect himself and instantly return to human shape, this will leave him electrically drained and exhausted to the point that he has to rest for a few hours.

Maybe you should try something like

this

Aura Manipulation. He can change the aura around him to either be defensive or offensive. His Aura isn't visible and therefore harder to defend against when used offensively. For example he if changed the aura around his hands to claws, you wouldn't know until you started bleeding from the scratches. This would require mental focus.

Or this

Enhanced abilities. Blade is faster/ quicker/whatever because of his mutation. It's not dependent upon electricity.

Absorbing electricity wouldn't be handy in the city because there's not enough of it to go around. Your character would be spending most of his time taking away precious electricity from things like hospitals, water processing plants, etc. Unless you're stealing it from the Crusaders. Which would make your character target #1 and that probably wouldn't go well. You'd never be able to go back to HQ and would be constantly hunted. I also wouldn't recommend another tech focused character because there are quite a few that anymore would probably overbalance us. Also, if you wanted, we could take this to PMs and I could give more ideas there. Just remember, power doesn't make the man. Cutting down on what your characters can do doesn't necessarily change the character itself.

you did gave me a little flaw with the aura power
the one Blade uses from his original setting is one that once he hardens it, it will become visible
failed to have mentioned that

anyway as I said I based Blade off myself in many things
the electric power, once it runs out he would have had the aura power as a replacement and with so few sources of electricity it would have been limited even more
so with that I dont even see why its such a problem to start with

but I made him as this so if I were to change his powers so drastically It wuld be easier to make a new char to begin with, cause these powers and his name were linked to the sword, if the powers were to change the entire name and sword use would become a different story al together, same with his background cause without the powers as they were he wont be able to enter the coty with his family

basically i would have to work an a new allias, see how to work with the weapons and possible change his skills and create a new background for a large bit, possible even a complete new background if you consider what is meant at the top about how he has been threaded, cause with his age and the time the city has been closed off, chances are he has had all that crap in this city meaning he wont even trust anyone
which means his personality has to change

but yeah I make a character as a whole, so while there is space to change some small stuff, changing anything of the important stuff would break the picture

not to stir up a discussion, I just wanted to reply to this bit

ALSO just so you know I just wanted to get this off my chest, nothing in here is meant to be disrespectful, insulting or verbal assault
just stating what is in my mind on the situation at hand
for all those I am bothering or feel anything unpleasant from this post
I give you my sincere apologies

The character (drake) is most definitely overpowered. The CS says he only has one real power, but then goes on and on about his different powers. Shapeshifting into a dragon, accelerated healing, fire, lightning, etc. It's just way too much, especially when you compare it to the rest of the player chars who have very simple abilities. Second, the only REAL downside to all his power is that he must remain emotionless, which I can understand your reasoning behind but it makes for a really boring character to interact with.

the megamorph is the source of his other powers, I can understand how you may think its too much but that is only looking at it from a simple sight
and someone who can absorb the crusaders (admitted I have not read the powers description my self) is not in my mind something simple and likely even more powerful then Drake in his human shape
then the statement of only real downside

I feel you have not read all the details about his limits on how he can never use the megamorph cause he cannot risk hurting others, so if you slim it down to the base power, which he cannot use, then he really has no powers left
and I have made sure to give each and every power multiple weaknesses, healing can be overloaded, and against robots that are said to be nearly indestructible I doubt his healing will stand up to them for a long time
his fire and electric attacks also dont pose much of a force in general, let alone the other weaknesses they possess
and also for the skeleton change, that is the same as the megamorph, its pretty much only for the beast which I dont plan to release all that often to nearly never if I can help it, so that wont ever be used to begin with
so he has multiple powers, he cant walk on the street due to his appearence and his only 2 attacking ones are not even that strong, a electric knockback that can only be usefull when charged up which is hard to do in fight or some simple flames that can easily be avoided

and just because someone has to suppress his emotions wont mean he cant interact with others normally, he still has them its just he cant enjoy or allow himself to feel it

when you take away his 2 danger powers, your let with 4 things, weak flames, weak electrical, healing which can be overwhelmed and a physical mutation

but this is just me wanting to state this cause this was more about Blade then Drake so you returned to something which was already discussed and over
its not an attack or retaliation, sorry if I offended you
just had to get this of my chest

anyway Drake is off the charts already, they all are
Drake went first cause I tried to remove the most powerful potential one in all your eyes and go with Blade's family
but as there were issues with Blade and my writing it lacks point to join the rp now
even if I were to make someone else the writing issue would break all uses

plus while I have a lot of mutants made, most are villains and the few good guys, well seeing the level here, not that I follow that level anymore
I can write off Drasuul
Seline is the same type as Seras
Danyou is 8, so without Drake or Blade he will be too young
Chii is even worse cause she is 6 and not someone who understands risks, so yeah again Blade or Drake are needed
but Chii is likely also OP for you guys, not that her power is that special, it possess two traits that while worthless to the crusaders would still be seen as a issue I guess
the rest I have are nothing more then simple NPC's I made for CoM

well there is one, but aside that I already am using him in an PM rp
he would likely also be seen as OP
to which I have to say, glad no one from here is working for marvel, cause aside Drake, most of these are at villain or main cast marvel level or weaker
hell Drake is likely the weakest Omega known
