Naruto [2014-2016]
Shinohara Yuuko
Shinohara Yuuko
................................................................................Yuuko was a 14 year old kunoichi in a roleplay universe of Naruto called Shimofuri, which later was reborn as Shukumei. She was an adopted child of an old couple who owned a restaurant in Kumogakure, and she loved the village greatly. I always thought that, with the amount of love and loyalty she had for her hometown, I should give her a plot that involved the village as a whole but, even though there weren’t a lot of other characters from Kumo, I never had the courage to even suggest something so big. She didn’t really have a tragic past or anything that gave her character much depth; she was a happy child, somewhat silly, a bit naive and her head forever in the clouds.

Ability wise, she was a DPS fighter and her end-game stat focus would be on speed. She started out with Water, then I was able to get her Lightning release; the goal was to have her get Storm release which, in my head, translated into some cool badass AOE skills that would’ve owned ass. Unfortunately, never managed to get that far. She had a summon, called Little Killers; a group of tiny, cute sister sprites that could aid Yuuko in various ways, such as message carrying or potion brewing. Her most distinctive skill was the roller-blades I gave her, which allowed her to travel at a superior speed and preform various acrobatic feats.

Relationship wise, I don’t believe Yuuko ever had any strong ones with the rest of the main cast; though, in the reboot, she would have if there had been time. There were two main NPCs that acted both as mentors and friends, Tora and Haru.

I always feel nostalgic when I think of her and she’s still the first character that pops into my head when I think of joining a roleplay. You can find her as an NPC in the current Naruto RP I’m writing for, but you’ll only see a fraction of her there.
My Hero Academia [2016-2017]
Mimosa Merryweather
Mimosa Merryweather
................................................................................Nicknamed Mimi, she marked the point I actually started getting serious about character arcs and plot; which makes the fact that I never even got a jump start at it so frustrating. I think it’s because I over-planned so much, which kind of fit in with Mimi’s character to be honest. Mimi was a young 16 year old student who aimed to be a Hero so she could get her father’s attention and, hopefully, get him back together with her mom. She was kind and her heart was in the right place, but she could be cold and standoffish to others; nose always stuck in a book kind of girl. Her perfectionism both a blessing and a curse.

She had a crystal manipulation quirk, which allowed her to bend, replicate and, maybe down the line, even create crystals. I lost hours researching Moh’s Hardness Scale so I could give her a decent enough growth; sadly, I hadn’t yet checked out Land of the Lustrous, because that would have been a badass reference to draw from. Battle wise, she was meant to be a tank, being able to hit hard and take the brunt of the damage without being too roughened up. One of the cuter ideas I had going for her was this hero costume “magical” closet thing, where different costumes gave her different stat and ability perks.

Relationship wise, she didn’t have a lot going on with the other PCs as what, by then, seemed to be the usual for me. NPC wise, on the other hand, she had a whole cast with the other girls from her part time job and one of the teachers, who was actually her brother by the fact that his mother was married to Mimi’s father.

Mimi was fun and adventurous and I will forever be sad that I couldn’t kick off her plot line. I still have all the notes and plans written down and I check them out every now and then. Sometimes, an unused idea might spark a fresh new one! She's an NPC in the Naruto RP I'm currently writing for.
Into the Depth [2020-Present]
Braska of the North
Braska of the North
................................................................................My character in the ongoing Into the Depth roleplay. A d&d-ish dungeon scroller which will, I believe, take us down the 9 circles of hell. That should be fun, so please check it out sometime.

Braska is a healer in her late twenties who is tired of the war, her hope all but vanished. I’ve build her to be a bit of a martyr; her concept being the forfeiture of everything one has, including one’s self, in exchange for nothing. She bears the brunt of her ancestors’ sins, yet it is her descendants who will receive the fruit of her sacrifice.

I’m unsure how, exactly, I’m going to explore this concept. It might even change over time, if I find it too dark and gritty. For now, however, I’m curious to see where the light of her lantern will lead me.
Naruto [2020-Present]
Team Kinryuu
Team Kinryuu
................................................................................My team in the ongoing Naruto RP I recently joined. Boy, do I have a whole ride planned for this trio.

It started only with Sayuri, then Chisato just arrived and made himself at home, and Hotaru was sent down from the heavens as the voice of reason I needed to deal with the other two’s shenanigans. I really wanted to go…not entirely solo this time around, to actually have interactions without the pressure of not writing fast or good enough. Large as it is, I have no idea if I’m going to be able to write out their story to the end; but I’m certainly ready to try!

The Kinryuu arc is divided into episodes. Hotaru, Chisato and then Sayuri; each the main character of their episode, with the story focused on them. I’m taking a very Chekhov’s Gun approach to this one, which, truth be told, will only start paying off in the long run, when I start referencing shit left and right that nobody’s probably going to remember anyway; but I, personally, will probably find it cool as hell, so I’ll keep working hard.

Everything looks good to us so go ahead and add your crew to the character tab at your earliest convenience. The bio seems to indicate they should all be added to Konoha, is that correct?

Yup.

Make Crush break bones, but only if you have like a 50+ strength advantage. And the summoning tech into a C for the sake of being consistent with the canon. Lastly, can you explain a little bit about the Youkai? Like what type it is? I'm guessing it's a spirit manifestation, but it'll help if you clarify.

I've done all of these things. Please check to see if you agree with the changes I've made.

Regarding:
Two of your Jutsu’s are kind of vague, so it would be better if you would make it so Heat Wave and Hell Fire are one of the same.

They're not the same. It's my fault for not explaining them properly I believe.

With Heat Wave, Chisato's body turns into a literal furnace or heater via the chakra paths inside his body flaring up with his Katon chakra. No flames are actually produced, only pure heat. That is why anything that touches him ends up burnt (like if you touched an iron while it's hot) and the surrounding area undergoes a rise in temperature. It's a support ninjutsu, rather than an offense taijutsu one (though it could be, I suppose), because it's meant to be used as protection against harsh cold climates.

With Hellfire, actual flames are produced...I created it based off of Harry Potter's fiendfyre. It's an unquenchable roar of flames that even Chisato wouldn't be able to control after he summons them, but that would constantly feed on his chakra until he passes out; only then subsiding.

You'll notice I've kept Heat Wave in place and removed Hellfire completely. Since Soul told me Sayuri's Tengoku no Ikari is probably A-ranked, I assumed Hellfire would similarly be of a higher rank than B. For that reason I had Flame Waves move up to B-rank (it fits, I think) and created a random D-rank off the top of my head to fill in the D-rank void left by the Kuchiyose.

Bakuha seems more like a B-rank with Tengoku no Ikari seeming more like an A-rank. The Sunnapu jutsu and Explosive fist need a bit more definition. The snap jutsu should have a range and depending on that range it would be easier to determine its rank.

I removed Tengoku no Ikari, replacing it with Bakuha. As you requested, I've explained Snap and Explosive Fist a bit further and added a range for Snap; though I'm not entirely sure if 60 feet is acceptable because I'm not exactly sure how much is 60 feet, since I work with meters and all. There's also a new C-rank, to replace Bakuha's previous spot.

Let me know stuffs.
Feedback & Approvals

Hey @Dream Maker you can add Hyuuga Hotaru to the character section at your leisure. We split the characters between the GM team so we'll have feedback on the other 2 soon.

I know you left a note about Hotaru not having the Byakugan but I can't recall if you had a similar one for Chisato and the Sharingan. The Uchiha Casino is lit.

Since we have up to 150 000 chars to use, I'm probably gonna keep the team and everything related to them in one post; so I'll wait for the other GMs' feedback.

Chisato will have his Sharingan awaken, but it's much further down the line. I don't need it for now and, given I haven't the slightest clue on how to roleplay the Sharingan in a main character, I decided to not have it from the get go. This way, I'll have some time to figure stuff out. I'll hit one of you guys once I have it worked out; if time comes for when I need him to awaken the Sharingan and I still don't have the gist of it, hope it's cool if I ask for help.

Oh gosh, is it too much if I start with 3 characters right off the bat?
Also, do we post profiles here and then on the 'characters' tab once they're accepted?

Joshua Hawkins was the single familiar face in the campus that Becca knew from high school. A giant that towered over her, as dense in mass as he was in smarts. The only reason he had gotten into Columbus was through an athletic scholarship provided after he tore his way into victory in the football team of their previously unheard of little school. He had been content to ignore her existence and she had been content to ignore his, a telepathic mutual agreement that neither wanted to be associated with the other.

Not that he was on her mind. Far from it. Let the sleeping dogs lie they say.

Duchess: No awkwardness whatsoever!

Sitting on an isolated table in the campus' library, Becca had just sent the message and was about to write a follow up when a hand clasped around her shoulder, the grip too strong for comfort. Looking up, she was startled to find none other than Joshua himself grinning down at her. Her hands shook as she squeezed her phone between them. What was he doing here?

"Becca!" Voice too loud for the place they were in but he didn't seem to mind the least, Joshua dropped down onto the chair next to her. "Been ages since I last seen ya."

Rebecca tasted something sour in her mouth as, inside, anger and fear fought for the chance to act. Ages, indeed. Last time they'd been in each other's presence he was laughing while his friends shoved her inside a trash container and forced her to stay inside until she threw up. Her eyes narrowed on him but Joshua only smiled back, humming. "Still the little genius, huh?"

His eyes roamed the papers sprawled on the table with a glint behind them. Rebecca's hands stumbled upon each other as she rushed to collect everything into a pile she could run away with but Joshua's arm slid around her shoulders and kept her in place, his face so close she could smell his breath - a weird mix of peppermint and lingering traces of alcohol. Her skin turned green. "Since you like it so much, how about you help me with mine?"

Almost as soon as he was done speaking, she got up and shoved him away all in one motion, her chair crashing down with the sudden movement. Her entire body shook as her eyes stared at the floor, trying to find something - anything - that would give her strength. As she was about to give up, her phone gave her hand a small buzz and she looked at it like a blind man looks at the sun the first time he sees. If Cyrus was here, he'd tell her to stand up. To be strong.

Hands clenched, Rebecca looked Joshua dead in the eye. "....n....n-no!"

His eyebrows lifted in mock shock but his grin didn't falter. Still, Rebecca didn't allow him room to speak. "I-in other wo-words, you're too st-stup-pid to do your own ho-homework."

She knew she had struck a chord when anger flashed in his eyes and he got up, towering above her with menace. He reached forward but she slapped his hand away before it could reach her.

"I AM NOT YOUR SLAVE!" Her voice carried through the library and drew the attention of students and teachers alike, successfully putting Joshua into a corner. He probably didn't want people to know he needed help with his grades, image to maintain and all. He took a look at their surroundings and visibly forced himself to relax. After a few seconds of just looking at each other, he smiled and reached forward once more. All of the adrenaline gone, all Rebecca could do this time was close her eyes and brace herself.

His knuckles caressed her cheek and he left.

For what felt like ages, Rebecca just stood there. Heart beating wildly. Had she won? She did. She won this battle! But...what of the war?

No. There would be no war. She was no longer a kid in the closed environment of a high school where the smallest thing could create a chain of painful events. Here, he had no power.

"Hey, you okay?" A warm voice broke her train of thoughts and Rebecca looked around to see a slightly shorter girl with wild curls leaning down to pick up the chair. When Becca didn't immediately answer, the girl smiled with uncertainty. "I'm Lola, we in the same World Literature class...you know, Mrs. Norris and all..."

"Oh...I'm Rebecca," she finally answered, not wanting to seem rude but not really understanding the other girl's point. When Lola only nodded, Becca turned back to finish collecting her papers. It was painfully awkward.

"So...you wanna grab something for lunch together?"

Becca looked back, half suspicious of the girl but there didn't seem to be anything to be worried about. Lola just stood there with a friendly smile, alone like her. Maybe...maybe this really was just Becca getting a new friend. Smiling, she adjusted her glasses and nodded. "Okay."

"Awesome!" Lola fist bumped her and immediately started chatting like they were years old friends that had ages to catch up on and not enough time to do it. But Becca didn't mind.

It wasn't a bad feeling.

Unlocking her phone, she tapped out a new message.

Duchess: I made a friend. =)

Every girl grows up wishing to become a princess.
Beautiful and graceful, to live in a shining castle with her personal knight to save her from everything that brings her sadness.

Life as a college student was vastly different from the years passed in high school. Throughout the entire first year, Rebecca had been able to keep to herself and avoid drawing in unwanted attention. It had been easy to convince her parents to pay a small apartment for her outside the campus, she'd only have to speak of how the other girls in the dorm might influence her the wrong way and how she wanted to focus on her studies...of course, living in a different city, they couldn't just up and visit her every day as they probably wished they could.

As long as she kept her grades in top notch, which really wasn't so hard given she had very little else to do except focus on her school work, Rebecca could keep enjoying her freedom for as long as she desired. It was a new found feeling, to wake up whenever she wanted, eat whatever she wanted, do however she pleased...for someone who had lived the grand majority of their lives constrained by rules and oppressive people, she finally felt free.

She hadn't even gone to church in ages.

That, of course, Rebecca kept a secret from her parents. That was another thing. In the past year, the number of secrets growing between her and the world around her kept growing exponentially. She didn't mind though, it's not as if they were bad secrets. Becca was fairly sure that, by today's standards, she was considered a good girl.

On campus, she barely knew or spoke to anyone - even her teachers, - but she didn't feel the least bit lonely. There was only one friend in this entire world that she needed.

A yawn broke through her lazy smile as the girl's hands crawled from under the blankets to reach for the phone on her nightstand. A quick few taps into it she sat up, eyes gliding through the screen as she re-read last night's conversation.

Cyrus was someone she'd met by chance over the internet a couple of years into high school. A righteous person, honest with a genuine kindness to him that's rarely seen nowadays. He lived in a different state so they'd never had the chance to meet in person...which wasn't a bad thing in Rebecca's eyes, deeply afraid as she was that he'd turn on her as soon as he got to see how gloomy she truly was in real life. Instead, she consoled herself in the fact that there was an ever present kind soul in her life, always there, always ready to listen whenever she needed to speak.

A small smile on her lips, Becca tapped in a quick good morning and got up to face the day ahead.
