This has my attention. I would probably play someone that fully embraces the wonders of Gemini and all the inconsistencies we tend to have.
Oh wow! I hope for a smooth recovery @WittyReference! I can't imagine how that experience must be for you. At least you have a good bit of humor about it and became our local zombie.

Haha! Surprise! I've had plenty of RPs I've DMed that have had NPCs that suddenly became more than expected. I had to be quicker on my feet with them though due to them being D&D games in my basement at least here you get some time to think about it. You get heroes from the smallest of beginnings. :D

I think Anise had been developing feelings for him for a while. It just made sense. By the way... this is the first character I've ever made that has fallen for an NPC on this site! There's a milestone for you.

I am seriously going to be sad when we wrap this up, even so I can't wait to see how this turns out!

Peck stared up at her from the ground -- where he'd fallen, skittering, upon the appearance of a bright light at his side. With a huff of relief, he relaxed, dropped backward on the ground. "Ya don't got to be so dramatic," he reminded her with a small grin. "I was the one gonna save ya." He laid a hand over his pounding chest, quieted his nerves.

Anise smiled and giggled. Perhaps the first time she felt any sense of real joy in this world. All the other moments of it were likely only that of relief more than anything else. Before she could comment with gratitude and her own lighthearted humor the Dragon's roar ripped through the Forest. The large motions of the Dragon could be hear as she continued to rampage crying out in fury.

Peck then started to react as if he had something crawling up his leg. Before long he started to drain of his energy. His life. Anise stared in horror only for so long before she acted. She embraced Peck and called the Light to her. She called for the rejuvenating power of Water to join with it. "Peck. My dear, Peck, you are the one that saved me. Time and time again. Now I shall return the favor, my beloved Knight."

Her powers combined as she kissed Peck right on the lips. Her desire to protect him from the evil draining his life away rushed through her as her heart pounded. Light to protect. Water to rejuvenate. She could remember a time where she could not imagine kissing anyone except for her fiance. A prince from a far away land that she had never seen. She could remember a world in a time of peace where the battlefield was courts and politics. She felt like she had been far away from that place for a long time now even though it had hardly been a week. Now she controlled a power that could only be found in fairy tales and carried a responsibility even greater than that of Princess of Riverforde.

She could save not only a world, but several others as well. She vividly remembered the story of the dreams given to her by the Dragon. The desperately reaching out into other worlds to draw power from them and heroes in the desperate hope to find the right savior. Anise could understand that desperation. While she lived a sheltered life away from the common folk she remembered several instances of her father stressing over the burden of such responsibility. Of ruling a kingdom. He had an excellent team of advisers to help him divide an conquer the challenges before him. For them to betray him like the Spirits betrayed the Dragon, Anise could imagine just how desperate one could be.

Except the Spirits were more than just advisers. They were her children.

As Anise pulled away from Peck the Dragon cried out once more.

GIVE ME .... MY CHILDREN

Anise looked at Peck with a sad smile. "It looks like this is the final stretch. I promise I will do everything to be the savior we all need. The first thing I need to do is heal a mother in pain. I love you, Peck."

Anise turned to face the Dragon and like just before she called to the Light to bring her to the Dragon. She gripped the Sun Sword tightly ready to use it to channel her Light and the power of her own Sun to cleanse the Dragon's body of the Lord of Shadow's corruption. With it she would also use the healing power of Water to repair what she could. Even if this was the last thing she did, Anise would do everything in her power to honor the Lady of Light and save this world and all others connected to it.

I just realized only like a week has passed in game time... We've been playing this RP for YEARS! O.o That is a hard thing to imagine. Incredible too. This is quite the epic project we have created here!

EDIT: Also you've forced my hand @Mokley! I now call in force the Power of Love trope!

Alright! It feels good to be back and on the ball again! Let's get rolling!
Elliot clenched his teeth as they took off. He was unsure of how he felt about the initial experience of take-off. However, he could say for certain that outside of the comfort of Fang's mount the experience was quite unpleasant. The sudden lurching sensation reminded him heavily of the recent storm he experienced upon the Legend’s Forgery.

He had a hard time hearing Fang over the wind, however he barely managed.

"The lightborn are just a legend," Fang hollered over the wind, through a sharp grin. "People who were born in sunlight, who've seen a sky without darkness." He laughed at how ridiculous that sounded. A sky all lit up like a fire? How absurd! "Is that you? Are you from some mystical land where the sun still shines? Are you so full of that sunshine that you made even the Wind God think the Light returned?" He looked back at Elliot with narrowed eyes. "You're sure weird enough to actually be a lightborn. If so -- well, there are three other gods you could wake up for us. Turn the tide of war, y'know."

Elliot wracked his memory of the various legends and stories he had read. The ancient times believed the sun itself to be the mother of all gods and the source of all power and life. Modern science and knowledge dismissed the belief of most of those gods as nothing but fantasy and legend. Even so, belief was not something meant to be proven. Perhaps this was such a place where belief had manifested into reality, or maybe the world as he knew it simply forgot how the world truly was. The dilemma he found himself in confused him far more than anything else as it put everything he understood to be true into question.

He knew one thing for certain: there was no way he would risk summoning three more beings that would act just like the “Wind God” would. He would not make another careless mistake like that again.

Fang then said something in a hateful tone and suddenly they dove straight toward a windmill at breakneck speed. Elliot yelled out in fear and surprise as the sound of crashing wood and shingles exploded beneath him. What kind of madman was this kid to risk more than one person’s life for such an insane act? What values were being taught to them?

As they flew away he could hear Fang yell out.

"HA ha!" Fang shouted back with a snide sneer. "Crawl back to Pyre, freak!"

“Freak?” Elliot echoed darkly. He felt a cold anger rise within him. “You did something so stupid with a passenger over a ‘freak’?” He knew nothing of the common sense of this part of the world, but this was one thing he could not maintain even a semblance of patience and tolerance for. “Especially when said passenger is a ‘freak’ himself?” He jerked his finger toward the birthmark on his face. The ugly disfigurement that plagued him in almost all social interaction especially first impressions.

Although as he called himself a freak, he was the only one to understand what he meant: murderer. He was a freak because he took a life. Self-defense or not, his disgrace and shame of that act spurred him to hold himself and others to a higher standard. Even so, the act of manslaughter stained his life thoroughly.

The temptation to demand he be dropped off right now presented itself as something Elliot considered greatly. He had little idea just what kind of culture he was flying into with this child, but it was one that held no great value for life that was certain. He grit his teeth and held his tongue. He felt he had to burn into his memory the culture of these Kith and learn as much as he could about this world, and he wished to listen to the reaction of Fang before going too far.
I will be getting something up this weekend :)
I am finally freed from the responsibility that is my house! I feel pretty refreshed overall, so I'm going to refresh my memory of the recent events of this and get something in. I see things have been quiet for a while, but if anyone is still around maybe we can get back to something epic.
