He couldn't protect her when she was taken by them. But he would change that. "I'll always protect you, Hana. I promise you that. Even if you hate me, I'll protect you."

We grew up together, yet you shut me out whenever I try to reach you. Hana, we can just talk later, okay?" He started to get up, defeated.

@Nikki Moonlight After the instructor finished, Archer dragged Hana over to the mess hall for one last meal. "Three years we waited for this, Hana. We're officially soldiers. I don't plan to make my life go to waste, but we should enjoy tonight." He smiled at her and walked away for a moment, bringing back two bowls of soup and two sparkly drinks. "A toast." He raised his wooden mug. "To taking back what is rightfully ours. Think of the happiness we'll give all those kids who live in fear!"
