@Earnest Evans: She. ^^;

And I'm more concerned about it just being used over and over again then the dragon's power. Even if it's not a problem to deal with for a lot of characters it could get kind of annoying it it's just used a bunch of times in a row.

Unless the battle takes place over the course of a half-hour, I shouldn't think it'd be used very often. After all, most of these fights go by in minutes and both dragon-summoning Shouts can only be used once every five minutes.
Of course, there's

<Snipped quote by Earnest Evans>

Not Call Dragon, Summon Durnehviir. Because he's an immortal zombie dragon locked to the Soul Cairn, you just teleport him to your location. Shout runs out? Say his name again.

Call Dragon and Summon Durnehviir are roughly equivalent, one just summons Odahviing instead. Beyond that, you can only summon it once every five minutes, Durnehviir is too big to be used indoors, he's capable of being destroyed even with swords and arrows (which implies rather negative things when you consider the sheer quantity of bigger weapons available in the multiverse), and summoning him requires a bit of a start-up that can be stopped.

Compared to Kenji's Personae, Cinder Fall'ss Dust creations, and whatever Vita wants to do with his GMPCs, it's pretty much on the same level.
@Belwicket: Okay, now... another one of the shouts seems pretty bad. It seems like she can just eat people's souls unblockably and there's only two characters I can think of who could be immune to that. ^^; Unless I'm misreading.

There's also the ability to infinitely summon a dragon even if that dragon is killed, that's... not so good. She could just do it over and over again in a fight.

I'm also not seeing how she could be the King and be anything other than AU. The Dragonborn doesn't become the High King of Skyrim in canon.

From what I understand, Soul Rend is basically a very damaging attack that has a few extra effects. If you land it (which, being a projectile attack, isn't guaranteed), the enemy is dealt a grievous wound. If they die from this, their soul will be trapped in any soul gem on-hand and their corpse will be reanimated.

Call Dragon is effectively a summoning spell. Every five minutes, you can summon Odahviing, a large dragon. It takes a while for him to appear, he's slow and unwieldy, and he can be defeated with a moderate amount of effort. Compared to other character's at-will infinite summoning capabilities, it's not quite at the top of the list.

@Earnest Evans - The question still persists here, Evans... why would a man, let alone making his own order which he's supposed to have a life oath to, ever willingly leave his own family? It simply doesn't make any sense to me. I think the only major thing beyond that is... his children have become adults "long ago?" Was he like fourteen when he had all three? Saying long ago implies 25-30 of age, but he's only 40... haha (which I get is the max age). I'm not entirely sure where you were going with having a wife and children, honestly.

He didn't quite leave his family of his own volition. It's stated that all able-bodied Knights leave to join the Knights Hospitallier, and Asher, being the son of a knight, would be drafted into the order as soon as he was formally knighted. Knights Hospitallier work abroad until they're no longer able to work (whether it be old age or injury), at which point they and the family they created during their travels return to the lands they were awarded.

Effectively, all knights are cut off from their immediate family, and are expected to have their spouse and children act as camp followers. His brothers are off elsewhere in the order, and his father and mother are back home, enjoying their retirement.

This being a medieval time period, the idea of "adult" and "long ago" is a good bit different compared to a modern period. I was more thinking that the kids would be 16 to 18 at a maximum. Given a one-year difference between each child, that would mean he found his wife around the age of 22 and immediately started having children. Considering how there's very little to do while wandering from place to place and how effective contraceptives aren't quite common in these days and ages, I wouldn't consider this too far-fetched.

I would really appreciate if you could add my name to that list of character sheets you're waiting to be completed. I'm really interested in this setting, and I'm willing to change what needs to be changed.
I've fleshed out my character's Backstory quite a bit, and added some to the information presented through the kingdom of Ybella. I figured that there's no better place for a member of a mercantile-army than in the economic powerhouse of the world.
I suppose the best way to join would be to contact one of the members and arrange a meeting. If you demonstrate good credentials and proper experience, you'll certainly be eligible for hiring. Shocker+ is an equal-opportunity PMC, you know!
I'm not quite sure Shocker+ would hire outside contractors to deal with inter-employee issues.
You'll have to find some way to join in-character. If you start off in a group that's been around for less than a week, it'd seem really cheaty.
Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria

Julius Aldo, having spent the past hour or so blissfully gorging himself on pizza and soda pop, barely noticed when Arragoz sent him a call. Confused as to who could possibly want to call him, Aldo responded.

The voice on the other end called itself Arragoz, and spoke of a plan from Shadow Eternity's "glorious" Leader-- a prize like this always comes unexpected, and never knocks twice! Chuckling under his breath, Aldo gladly spoke to Arragoz.

"Of course, Arragoz! The Commandoes and I are always ready to fight for the glory of Shadow Eternity! Just give us a planet we can meet you on, and we'll be there as soon as possible! Of course, a meeting in the Shadow Eternity Headquarters is out of the question-- our hardware is a little hot for The Leader's tastes, so it would be best if we kept it out of their sight. We appreciate your patronage!"

Aldo clamped his big, furry hand over the reciever and called out to Takahara From Accounting. "Sir, we got a meeting with a potential mission! I'm gonna get a rendezvous point, and I'm gonna meet our 'client'. If you want to come help 'negotiate', I certainly won't stop you!"
Ah, that's right. I should have mentioned the family he raised on his travels in more detail. To put it simply, the wife and kids are camp followers, and Asher "sired" them during a lull in the unceasing action of tending to refugees and lepers.

However, I felt these were extraneous details to be revealed in-character, and didn't want to take up more space in the Background. If you want, I can add it in.
