It's been explained in @Vertical's post right before yours that the Overseers' Office is coated in delicious raspberry jam and entirely silent, evidently because of the surprise party they'll be holding there. Personally, I'd avoid stepping in that stuff. The main difference between getting into the office now and waiting until the Refs get in is largely negligible, beyond the size of the audience present for the delicious raspberry jam surprise party.
So, I guess Jerry Lowe's first order of business is to get to a safe area before the refugee lynch mobs find him, considering he's a filthy overseer-supporter. Should be fun!
It seems the Pip-Boy's "quest" function is fluffed up to be a sort of memo taker for the player character. You get a job your character is planning on doing, so they record it in checklist format on their PipBoy under "quests".

It's sort of like a sci-fi journal, if you know what I'm getting at.
Industrial-strength sulfuric acid is not actually all that corrosive. If you set something in it for minutes at a time, it'll definitely corrode, but its main danger is the fact that it burns stuff. That's why people can store sulfuric acid at all instead of it just eating through the plastic/metal container it's being held in. The biggest danger with being splashed with sulfuric acid is if it gets into any electronics or touches your bare skin.
Food for thought on the fun party going on in the Vault right now. We have a relatively clear idea of what might happen if the refugees are brought down and the riot is halted. But what would happen if the refugees won? What would happen to the security guards and administrators who weren't outright slaughtered by the rioting refugees? What about their friends and families, who apparently enabled this behavior and probably aren't reacting well to the deaths of the guards?
Hi there, I'm the new co-GM @Vertical brought on! I'll be consulting with the GM on plot hooks, plot twists, and pretty much anything else to do with the story and setting. I may also come in and act as the GM if @Vertical so chooses. I hope we can have an enjoyable role-playing experience together!
Count me in, then. Will people be expected to organize themselves into "teams" on different ships, and compete with one another, then?
While normally I'd really hate a post like this, the quality of the RP has absolutely plummeted. I think we should wrap this up with the entirely-expected "Enclave destroys the town because Jack Cobalt was short-sighted enough to try and fight them when all he has is some grenades and a few turrets that don't even work yet".

Personally, @Apollosarcher, I feel that you as a GM have failed to create a coherent and interesting story, and instead tried to make an RP about how a big group of random people follow around your totally awesome and cool Vault Dweller OC as he fights a bunch of Saturday morning cartoon villains calling themselves The Enclave.

In trying to add action to the RP and prove your OC in the right, you've rendered a confusing and morally grey situation into an utterly incomprehensible mess of cartoonish black and white morality. A majority of the players have either ducked out or post very slowly now, thanks to these embarrassingly slow developments.
I would appreciate if this character introduction didn't turn into a murder. @Blackmist16, you should probably have your character swallow his pride and realize that if he wants to work with other people he shouldn't state that he doesn't work with other people.
