“So flabby does mean fat! Okay. I was confused for a second there." Dani said. "Flabby, it sounds like a very interesting word. Can't think of many times I'd be able to use it without hurting anybody's feelings, though." Lion growled when he heard the two chatting about his choice of words, making Dani chuckle.
"Hm, that was very nice of him." Dani said, nodding his head. "Wait, I just realized. Since he's a spirit animal and you're a Spirit Guide, you can talk to each other, right? And he can talk to other lions, does that mean if we went on a Safari, that you'd be able to chat to the wild animals?"
Seven dragged a dead sea gull over to them, making Little Feather groan. The cashier wasn't very happy either.
"You'd better eat that, it's not very nice to kill for fun." Dani told Seven, shaking his finger at him comically.
"Oh, it's that simple? I guess being called Lion would make it easy for people to remember his name." Dani said, looking at Lion. "So I was calling him by name all this time, and didn't even realize it. Huh." Dani shrugged. "I guess Lion isn't that bad of a name."
"Me? Well..." Dani thought for a second. "I can't remember having a very interesting life." Dani hesitated for a second, then decided to tell her. Hey, he asked her, it wouldn't be fair if he knew everything about her, and she didn't know much at all about him.
"I... I'm a ghost, pretty much. I arose about a year ago, but can't remember anything about my actual life. I started coming to Athalia for somewhere to be. It's not like anybody would enjoy their house being haunted. I do wish I had a house to haunt, though. Not for the sake of scaring people, just a place to live. You could say I'm homeless." Dani sighed. "I can't even remember who my family is, where I lived, who my friends were. I try not to think about it, but it's always nagging at the back of my mind."
“I’m so sorry! Can I fetch you some dry clothes?” asked Little Feather as Dani began drying his hair.
"Nah, I'm mostly dry now, anyway." Dani replied.
Somebody came out of the back room of the restaurant carrying a bowl of very delicious looking salad, and two slabs of raw beef.
"Here is your order, sir." the young man said, hanging the tray over to Dani. Dani looked at it.
"I think we may need more raw meat. Two slices of beef isn't going to fill up a lion." Dani said, taking it over to a table.

"Alright then." Matt said, and went to the counter. Crash and Kathy were there, together as always, except they were both much too red to be healthy. Kathy was on the floor, curled up into a ball.
He knelt down to her.
"You know, if you're too hot here, the bedroom huts have air conditioning." Matt said. He kind of missed the whole episode where they got embarrassed out of their wits.
He stood up and turned to the bar tender.
"Greetings, I would like two kiwi and pineapple cocktails minus the alcohol, please." he said politely.
"I don't know... Just, uhm, the same as you!" Zaelyn replied.

“Yes...he didn’t get out a lot over the vacation. He kept complaining he would get flabby on all the cooked products that he was given...you know I don’t really know, it wasn’t a comfortable conversation.” Little Feather replied.
"Yeah, but did he mean flabby as in fat? Or flabby as in he had a stomach ache?" Dani asked, furrowing his brow in confusion. "What does 'Flabby' even mean?"
“Part of the perks of being a Spirit Guide I guess, we didn’t need sustaining” Little Feather answered Dani truthfully.
"A Spirit Guide?" Dani asked, interested. "Is that why the lion follows you around all the time? What's his name, anyway? I feel kind of weird just calling him "The Lion" all the time."
“Some of the other spirits used to get quite upset over the fact they couldn’t eat...I remember one of them trying to describe chicken, all he could say was it taste pretty much like everything. I think he should have tried explaining something else like strawberries.” Little Feather answered. Dani laughed.
"Chicken? Everyone says everything tastes like chicken. It's a joke, things don't actually taste like chicken." Dani said, grinning.
The cashier looked at Dani, then turned and went into the backroom. When she got back, she was holding a towel in her hand.
"Here, dry yourself up while we get your order ready." she said. Dani looked at the towel, confused, when he realized that he was still wet. Sure he wasn't sopping anymore, but he was still a quite damp.
"Er... Thanks." he said, and began rubbing his hair with the towel.
