Liam's face suddenly turned bright red.
"N-Nothing, I-I was just-" Liam began, before running off to a nearby building. Dani watched her go, feeling rather confused.
Liam came back only a couple minutes later, and handed a drink to him.
"Take it." she said. It was a question, it was a demand. She was commanding him to take the drink.
Dani, still confused, took the drink, popped it open, and took a sip. As he watched Liam silently, he noticed that she was avoiding eye contact.
What's wrong? Have I done something I shouldn't have? Dani wondered, worried.
"You can tell me now." Liam told him, breaking Dani out of his thoughts.
"Huh? Oh, um... Tell you what?" Dani asked, embarrassed.

"You just wait and see. Tomorrow, we should have more than enough proof. Unless I use a certain trick up my sleeve, in which case you'll be the one hungry before long!" Xris said with flourish. He could get used to this acting thing. Maybe he should a mix of acting and acrobatics. Not only would that be fun, but it would put more than enough food in his belly. Now there's an idea.
"You missed 'Rambler of Redundancy' in your list of jobs for yourself." Xris said with a twinkle in his eye, then he turned to Isaac.
"Nice to meet you. Besides being a baron of, err, benevolence, what do you do?" Xris asked curiously. "If you don't mind me asking."
Hey Fox, I'm stealing your idea of putting the chibis on top of the posts. Just sayin' ;)

"I think I'm fine..." Dani thought, furrowing his brow, then winced. "Maybe not."
He struggled to get to his feet, but ended up dropping back onto the ground with an "Oof!"
I guess I won't be going anywhere anytime soon... Dani thought with a sigh, then crossed his legs to get into a comfortable position.
"Well, we can, but..." Dani started, then realized that Liam was attempting a joke. He gave a somewhat forced smile.
"It's fine, I should have watched were I was going." Dani replied. He tilted his head slightly in curiosity. "What were you thinking about?"
"I think I'm fine..." Dani thought, furrowing his brow, then winced. "Maybe not."

Xris had nothing to say as a reply. This man had some very good points. It wasn't like Xris had bought this land, nor it wasn't his fault that the people like him more than Xris.
"What would you suggest, then? I have needs just like you. I was here first, so this is my hunting grounds. If you're going to be performing here, we're going to need a schedule of sorts." Xris said, raising his eyebrows. So much for the proud approach. At least this man seemed at least somewhat reasonable, unlike a lot of people he had met.
"Oh, the name's Xris Vincin, I'm a street acrobat." Xris said, holding out his hand.
((Meh, sorry for the short post, I just felt like I needed to get something out.))

No, it's fine. Tips to help my writing are always welcomed :D
I actually knew it was the end of the performance, and what made Xris notice the crowd below was the applause. If one has a crowd like the one Pyotr had, even if not everyone claps, the sound would still be noticeable for someone right above.
I was also thinking that Xris would land while Pyotr was having a conversation, interrupting it and getting in the midst of everything.
And about the "Spot", that is Xris's thoughts. One has to remember to stop the good story telling when it comes to talking and thinking. Say your character is a non-too-bright thug, he would be thinking something like, These five allies off of main street are my hunting grounds, and nobody, especially that smart-alack, red-headed twit, can do anything about it!
I'm not trying to be a mean know-it-all, I'm just trying to answer your questions ^^
However, you are right about the post. Now that I look back over it, I could have done much better. I have to go for now, but I'll brighten it up a tad when I get back :)
