I am also interested! It sounds quite interesting and a school setting is hard to do! It sounds like we are doing a magic college, correct? I'd be interested in seeing what others come up with to fit a character most appropriate to the setting!

Bio:
When Adorabella was born a girl her family did not wish for her to be taken away by the Drakken. They had never been okay with the giving away of their noble women as brides. Her parents wished to protect her from the possibility of this and so ran away into obscurity. This led them to a small village of Gems who primarily dealt in agriculture. Her family bought land and from there created a grand orchard and crop field to produce delicious fruits.

From her earliest memories, she has lived on this farm and worked hard. She picked the fruits from the trees and gathered ripe berries from the lines of bushes and vines. Their orchard is famed for its delicious wines. There were a few years in her early childhood she would go hungry, especially during winter months. As the farm flourished she became used to a certain type of luxury afforded a farmer's daughter - one of which being to never go hungry.

Unfortunately, this obscurity from her noble heritage did not last long. Someone recognized her parents, and after delving into some records found that it was the Honara Family that had purchased the land. For the punishment of running away, Adorabella was to be given away as the very bride her family had hoped to avoid.

She is not sure about this life of nobility and often finds herself failing in the social graces she should have been taught. The clothing and lifestyle are so very different. She longs for the days in which she could run wild through the trees and taste freshly picked fruit.

I would be very interested if this is still open! I am a bit confused though and maybe I am just a silly goose...

Are Gem women still being taken as brides? Or are we discussing women who have already been taken? If I were to play a Gem woman would I already be married? Or what options are there?

New but not a Newbie

Good day! I've made my rounds in the roleplay forum world before but it has been quite a while since I've done it. I'll bet I'm a bit rusty. But I enjoy writing and developing plots and characters with others. I'm excited to play~ I love fantasy and sci-fi the best but I am really up for anything.

In my day job, I work with animals. I enjoy going on walks, watching stuff, drawing occasionally, and playing real-world roleplaying games! (Feel a bit like I'm writing a dating bio...) I live in the States and just wanna have a good time. Let's be friends~ :)
