@Rethel34 A little bit of Fanon never hurt though, I mean - last I checked, fusing human souls with digital creatures was also a digimon concept but here we are having fun with it ;)

@Leos Klien Loving the Giritina design man, it's cool that we have a more 'renegade' type character thrown in the mix and one that is more controlled by the pokemon and less by the human.
Hannah

The boys eyes are what had her interested at first, it was hard to be certain but she had sworn they had been glowing red. Upon getting closer, she had been correct. She had followed him through the city, almost certain he was aware of being followed. Covering her tracks had been risky. Backtracking through alleys and taking shortcuts to make sure she was never in plain sight of him. He may have been quick, and intelligent but he clearly didn't know the city as well as she did.

That's when she saw it happen. Physical dexterity and reactions unlike anything seen, the man was dead within seconds. She held her breath and backed further into her alley. The T-shape of the backstreets giving her protection. Thankfully, he hadn't seen or heard her. She peeked around, checking the coast was clear and investigated the body. She recognized him, he had been one of the thugs she had seen around town working as muscle for hire. Hell, she had been chased by him a few times. She picked out things she could use, a mobile phone, a wallet, his watch and anything of value. Then, she carefully vacated the scene herself, following the footsteps of the boy. She was five minutes behind him, and unsure which way he had gone, took a left. With the money from the wallet she was going to be able to pay for dinner, and give half her rent to the old landlord who came knocking around this time every month.

The thrill of survival in a modern metropolis.
Leon

Her light had been the first thing had caught his eye, a brilliant scar of gold across the night sky just like before. That first gold one had appeared some time ago, and he had spent most nights looking out for it again. The whole city could see it, but couldn't explain what it was. That's when he first saw it. She was beautiful, without a doubt. Pale complexion, long flowing hair and her eyes glowed an odd purple colour. She looked... ethereal. She was taking in the sight of the city, and Leon was transfixed. Was he hallucinating? She clearly didn't come from the sky, she must have fallen out of a tree.

Then he saw them.

Pure white wings.

Was she an angel? What could she possibly be after, or doing? It must have been a costume. Leon climbed to his feet, out of his star-gazing position and start to walk along to greet her. Even if she was just some crazy cosplayer out in the middle of the night, she had seen that scar too right?

He was about to call out to her when she started to walk away, he watched as a step become a tumble, and a tumble turned into a violent cascade into the floor at the bottom of the hill. Her immediate reaction was tears, and upset. Leon sighed, rubbed his temple and slowly made his way towards her. With a gloved, outstretched hand he offered to pull her up.

"Don't just sit there and cry, I'm sure the wings aren't that damaged. They look so real. I'm Leon by the way" He said, giving her a large grin.
David had anxiously avoided making a spectacle of himself. The second avatars started appearing, people had flocked. Photos where being taken, people gasping in awe and wonder. Humans had come along way from training Pokemon to hero worshiping them. The difference in character that avatars seemed to express, from celebrity status to more subtle and discreet avatars. The loud, the boisterous and the careless made a show of their power, flaunting it in the way a barbarian swings an axe. It was... odd

'Stone, lighten up. People are going to want to meet you too. You are just as bad as those barbarians, sleeping on a mountain and attacking trainers you deem arrogant or abusive. A patronizing opinion, for someone who used to be just a human too'

David glanced down at the small tortoise, and gave it a soft grunt. He knelt down, and gently rubbed the reptiles forehead "For something that was dead for a thousand years, you have some strong opinions"

David slowly stood back up, glancing around the room. Good people, bad people. This place was full of both, he couldn't let distraction of his old life distract. The place felt... nostalgic. How much had binding to become an avatar changed him? He still felt like himself... but his thoughts, his opinions. They had changed, and become so extreme. Had he always been like this?

'You worry too much. You and Regirock make a great team, made us a good team whilst he was at it too. Go sign yourself in, talk to people who want you and if you are lucky, you are as unpopular as you think you are and we can leave or find us a battle or two. There is more to life then work though. Just... loosen up'

David glanced down again, unsure how he felt about his companions statements. He always spoke like Regirock could hear him and reply, like he was only half of the body he was occupying but not once had he had a conversation with it. In dreams he spoke to him, and told him what to do but was that his subconscious, or was that really the legendary Pokemon speaking to his soul? Too many questions, too many thoughts. With powerful strides, David glided through the crowds. Patiently waiting for people to move and for the crowd to flow around him, he felt no need to be aggressive and shove his way past anyone. Tirtouga on the other hand, had a handful not being crushed within the crowd. He slipped and slid, gliding on the slippy floor and not needing to take his movements one flipper at a time. As David reached the administration desk, he got to be a voyeur to another show of legendary display. The avatar of a dark Pokemon far from his home move with inhuman speed, this had been the young man floating above the crowds earlier. He wasn't sure if the decision to move like he did was conservative or wise. If that thing was what he thought it was, it had the power to be pompous and draw much more attention then... moving fast. If someone had blinked they would have missed it. David gave a subtle, approving nod before making his way towards the place he would need to sign up, still ahead from his prehistoric companion who was scuttling through the legs of trainers, causing mischief and confusion in small sections of the crowd.
@ThebastardbrastaI had a read through his profile and his personality seems to clash, I'm not talking a long-term thing but more when they first meet they have a little scrap.
Oh, damn. I just assumed that if something was part rock it counted, I guess it makes it easier on all of us if just having one type overlap allows communication.

@Thebastardbrasta Yo, whats the chances that Wells and David could start on bad terms and try to kick the shit out of each other? I'm not saying we should have a winner between the two of us, but having a rivalry to start with could make it more interesting?
@ZanavyI misinterpreted what? I can go back and make edits if I fucked something up, no problem
@Ardent Dawn Happy coincidence, I just looked at Regirock pokedex entries and tried to make him as balanced as possible. I do hope our characters get the chance to be a kick-ass rock team though
I didn't even realize we had all made characters from the same region :')

I just thought it would make sense as I wanted a Regi-based avatar

Held item: Leftovers

Appearance:

Personality: David is a cold, and harsh judge of character. His attitude towards people has always been one of pushing those around him to reach their potential. Arrogance, reckless behavior and selfish attributes are the core opponents of his life's philosophy. Since becoming an avatar, his personality has fused with Regirocks, now feeling an immense desire to protect nature and Pokemon. David believes the best way to see the true heart of a person is through battle, and how they fight is far more important that the outcome of the battle. With a rigid code, and the ideology that those who have power, have a responsibility to use it to help others and not for selfish gain.

Backstory:
David started life as an archaeologist at the age of eighteen, interested in researching fossil pokemon and the formation of rock type pokemon. His own Tirtouga that he carries comes from one of his first digs inside a Unova temple. His early twenties where spent travelling, exploring and learning. His skill as a pokemon trainer was low, and for a long time Tirtouga never got to spend much time battling, instead being used as a travelling companion.

The power plague never affected Tirtouga, because the time the duo spent in isolation in deserts the worst of the plague skipped over them. David thought that his life wouldn't be affected by the virus. Until he fell into a ruin. A broken leg, and a lack of equipment he assumed that would be the end of him. To die trapped within a tomb on route 111. To his great surprise, the rocks around him gave him great strength. His broken leg healed within minutes. Arcues had fused his soul with the soul of Regirock and granted him new powers. His life of temple diving and underground mining where behind him. He felt a surge of responsibility.

David spent the next few months testing himself, and his ability to train Pokemon. Him and Tirtouga now shared thoughts, and battling went from a crude and ineffective system to the two having synchronized minds that could analyze and respond to a variety of battling situations. Whilst his prowess as a trainer increased, he also tested his own skill. Learning how his new body worked, unaware for a long that his body was fused with the legendary pokemon. Unsatisfied with living around humans, he moved to a life of living outdoors - finding comfort in caves, not needing warmth or sheets to keep him comfortable. Stone was all he needed.

His reputation grew, escalating to the status of urban myth. Trainers who encountered him where challenged to a pokemon battle, demanding that the person express themselves. The only way he could truly judge somebody was how they treated their pokemon in a battle. The majority of trainers where allowed safe passage that he over-watched after the battle, regardless if they won or lost. For trainers he deemed to be arrogant, ungrateful and poor as trainers, he battled himself. Dreams of a stone golem calling to him, demanding he fight for freedom and justice, to protect the weak.
