Current So what if I used Diego Hargreeves for a face claim? Couldn't resist.

Doesn't that mean it would be messy and convoluted IRL?

No? Here we can just all put forth which we like. In MR, I'd be the only one deciding once everybody brought the characters that they like, without any way to say "I prefer this one over this one". Other than which characters they want to have which magics, the others would have no say in the process.
I'd rather discuss it in the IC. That's why Data was asked in the first place.

I thought about how to do that for a long time, but all the ways I thought of seemed messy and convoluted.
<Snipped quote by Efficacy>

Noted.

<Snipped quote by Unhinged>

How did the two of you meet?

Thank you for your help. If you can find any that match closely enough to these magics, please do tell me. It might also be worth sending something out to your group to notify them of what's going on.
Here's the six magics to choose from. If you want to participate, choose 2-3 you like most in order, with the character they make most sense with, and we can deliberate from there.

"Laddie."

*shrugs* I call everyone that.
<Snipped quote by Unhinged>

Why is it that the two of you are close?

<Snipped quote by Efficacy>

It has nothing to do with preferences.

But it is what it is, laddie. There's enough of a difference in the colour manifestation to distinguish the two in practise.
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

In a way, yes.

<Snipped quote by Unhinged>

Very well. It will be a pleasure to see him.

There are six primary and secondary colors. The only true option for a unique seventh is brown.

Brown is a poor colour for the Seven Laws, in my opinion. But it's not mine to change.
<Snipped quote by Efficacy>

Indigo and violet are essentially the same color.

<Snipped quote by Unhinged>

Ah. Very well.

There were seven Laws that the First Framer found and typified. He chose to name and colour them after what's generally considered the seven colours of the rainbow. Why change it now?
<Snipped quote by Efficacy>

Continue.

*Nods*
A mutual trust.

Finally, the Violet Magic is the Law of Obsidian, simplistically called the dark magic. Its main theme is affecting the world in destructive ways. A user of the Violet Magic can, for example, convert matter to energy and absorb most, but not all of the release. It can cause decay, like with corrosion or erosion. It can change gravity and pressure, among other things.
<Snipped quote by Unhinged>

Is it?

<Snipped quote by Efficacy>

Again, there were several. Go on.

The Indigo Magic is the Law of Velvet, simplistically named the deep magic. It deals with the molecular level of things, allowing one to manipulate chemical bonds, the effects of electrons in their orbits, and so many other things that I couldn't possibly think of them all at the moment. It is, again, extremely versatile.
